[MOC] The Oath Pact Ends Now from WOK
soccerkid6 replied to durazno33's topic in Guilds of Historica
Lovely picture composition, and lighting The Guilds of Historica is a Roleplaying Game centered around the 4 Guilds, Mitgardia, Avalonia, Kaliphlin, and Nocturnus. And while it is indeed the "Castle MOCer's Paradise," medieval creations not specifically made for the guilds fit better in the Historic Themes. No worries though, a mod can move it easily enough -
Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion

I have a new freebuild up, this time located in Avalonia -
Thanks to de Gothia for letting me place this watchtower in Benoic. Having recently acquired quite a few dark green plates, I wanted to try a landscape in that color and chose to put a small tower/cottage combo on it. There is a full interior, though because of the small size the furnishings are fairly frugal. Both doors are functional as well. The corner stonework was inspired by Dwalin Forkbeard, the cottage was inspired by Legopard, the ‘gear’ mushrooms were borrowed from Captain Flint, and the tower windows were inspired by Gideon. Benoic has many stone watchtowers within its lands to provide warning in case of attack, and also as bastions of defense. This particular tower also has a small cottage to serve as living quarters for the soldiers stationed there. More pictures can be seen on brickbuilt. Thanks for looking, your comments and suggestions are always appreciated

I'd love to see some builds from you again, Carson! -
Lovely micro build! The section of cliff, tall lighthouse, jumbled houses, and sand green trees are my favorite parts

This was an entry to the 2016 MOCAthalon. I took inspiration from Sean and Steph Mayo’s terrarium and insect collection builds. The terrarium contains a beetle, two ants, a millipede, a butterfly, a ladybug, and a stick bug. There are lots more pictures available on brickbuilt. Thanks for looking

Thanks! And yeah, I would have liked to keep the original roof but didn't have the corner slopes to do it with. Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the kitchen/hall area

Good to see you keep trying to make better creations. The stepping wedge plats ont he shoreline, and rocky cliff look nice Though the cliff would look even better if the transition from rock to grass wasn't so uniform across the whole thing
-
Thanks! Thank you, it's a rather old window design, but quite an effective one Thank you
-
Great start to your Mitgardian builds! I like the wedge plate shore, with the occasional flower or leaf added Good story too

Thanks! And in this case, it will be the customer's MOC to a large degree as he helped design it somewhat, and will be assembling it himself. Thank you, I had fun with the little crane. And all I did was write on my website that I'm willing to build commissioned models

I built a map of a LEGO printed tile before myself, but yours is way cooler I love the ship, and you did a very good job with the landmass shaping

Thanks Alfadas Thank you! Thanks for your thoughts! I did have second thoughts about the black cheese battlements, but decided to go with them since they matched the inverted slopes used in the original Thanks! Thank you, it was definitely a fun set to update Thanks! Thank you Thank you, does this picture help? Thanks

Built for the 2016 MOCAthalon, the category this time was “Classic Update.” I chose to update the Black Falcon Fortress #6074. The original featured a working drawbridge and hinging walls to allow for multiple building layouts. I kept both those features, and added a dual catapult, jail with break-away wall, great hall with fireplace and table, and a stables with working gate. There are 6 minifigs included: 4 Black Falcons, and 2 Crusaders, plus there are two horses, some extra weapons, and a treasure chest. There are 2 ladders to allow minifigs to reach the walls, and they can fold up out of the way so you can reach into the interior. See more pictures on brickbuilt Thanks for looking, I hope you enjoyed this remake of a classic set. I admit to rigorously play testing this model
