Not all treasure is come by legitimately: a hi tech thief is trying to steal a priceless jewel, but can he do it without touching the lasers and setting off an alarm? Couple more pics here: http://brickbuilt.tk/Treasure-Heist.php All C&C appreciated

Cool fight scene, lots of neat figs and some interesting weapons

Ooh I inspired something Very cool build, I might lessen the angle on some of the tiles in the front, it looks a little messy as is. They don't have to be perfectly vertical or horizontal, just not crazily angled. The lift up roof is a nice feature and some brown tile on the inside would look great

@Buurli: Looking forward to seeing them! I'll be taking pics of "baseplate with figs" this afternoon, it will be part of my Challenge VI entry. And I've got the story all planned out -
My 10 year old little brother made this. He needed some advice on how to angle the house and doing the roof. He built the majority of it though: More pics here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5759844 He would appreciate any comments or criticism

The colors give a very fitting feel and the tree is superb I like the roof design though I feel the peaked section on the right flares out to far from the building. Great stuff

[MOC] the Hobbit: Out of the Frying-Pan into the Fire
soccerkid6 replied to Legopard's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Was not expecting something this impressive The eagle, falling tree, layering in the rock, great fig posing, the whole thing is masterful -
You are aware that many of the people on EB are not from England or the USA right? Great build DM, neat to see how these are produced after hearing so much about them, the figs and their posing are excellent If Glorfindel survives the chaos going on now he'll order some (I got a bunch of those from a PaB cup).

Looks much better Though when kabel said SNOT I think he meant sideways bricks not tiles, either way it works well

Kaliphlin Mini-Challenge, "Off to War"
soccerkid6 replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
I ended up voting for DM as I thought his build portrayed leaving for war the best, the others were quite close though -
Departure of the Southern Lions from Messahmuk
soccerkid6 replied to NiceMarmot's topic in Guilds of Historica
I like how massive the gatehouse and wall are. Great touches with the stonemason's working (love that roof design), crane, and scaffold for the guy working on the tower Excellent desert-scaping as well -

@Skaforhire: Japtheth, an extraordinarily strong man, and an experienced fighter: It's ok if he dies on the mission -
Great work, it matches the source pic extremely well The dome on top is excellent
