    I think the smaller one matches the rest of the castle better. Are you going to put any towers in the walls?

    Yes, one of his anyways. Fooled by the white and yellow I do have a lot of it, I have a lot of bricks in black, red, blue, white, and yellow. White and yellow have the most though, here a pic of the tub that holds my white and yellow pieces (minus snowscape parts) it was nearly full: http://brickbuilt.tk/Castle/2013/Revolword's-Fortress/tub.JPG Wrong, it is located somewhere in Avalonia. I'll wait for a few more guesses then show the layout of the buildings

    @SkaforHire: Thanks, the stream is only in it's first stage, there will be a waterfall at the beginning and I'll be adding to the river quite a bit. Anyone have a guess as to what kind of building(s) I'll incorporate and where? There's a hint in the pic

    Pretty simple as you say but it illustrates the story well. Good choice on including an interior

    Yup, America is well behind most other countries when it comes to food, they throw a bunch of chemicals together then eat it Luckily I live on a farm where we grow lots of our own food, even have home made bread @legonardo: Have you made much more progress on the gate yet?     There are no Americans here, just Mitgardians Anyways... I'm making good progress on my Challenge VI build, just started actually putting the "skin" on it after doing the "skeleton"

    I'm using the base I used for my castle for my second build as well and seeing it on my desk got me thinking: what do you normally use as the base for your MOCs? I normally use white 8x16 bricks as I have somewhere between 20-30 of them (I got them with a LEGO education gift card I got for winning a contest) and use plates to attach them to make a rectangle or square the size I want. They give a sturdy base that can be added to easily. Sometimes I use baseplates but prefer not to as normal plates can't be added on to enlarge them and baseplates are rather flimsy. In smaller builds plates can be used to make irregular bases but I don't like to do that with large MOCs. Thought this might make for an interesting discussion

    I agree with what DM (haha I didn't type dG ) said, for being a castle this is pretty small and seeing as you have 2 helms deeps you have plenty of bricks to enlarge it. Also second the motion for higher battlements. Also try experimenting with some hinge bricks and try to incorporate some angles. Another suggestion is to put dirt or stone colored bricks inside instead of just the green baseplate. Not a bad start though, I like the flag you made with a 1x2 tile in sand green and a white clip Getting to be a MOCer like Ecc or dG does not happen overnight

    Very cool MOC, the water and ship are both excellent I think it would be more realistic if the dock was a bit higher though, it would get swamped pretty quick as it is. Keep it up

    Thanks, though the round wall technique has been around way longer than I have Thanks Thank you, and don't worry my next build won't have any "Blizzard" in it
