  1. The mason laying tile is fabulous! Good choice to include pallets of materials outside, that adds a lot to the ongoing construction look Lovely trees and Avalonian landscape and it's great to see the new bee hive element getting some use in a medieval scene. This photo would be a nice one to include in your post, as it gives a good impression of the overall setup of the scene:
  2. Top notch minifigure posing and work details. It's easy to tell exactly what's going on, even without reading the story. One small storytelling detail I like, is the pile of weapons and armor the soldiers have set aside so they can get to work Excellent roof structure as well. Incomplete roofs can be tricky to build, but you pulled it off well. Fun use of green indian feathers as plants too. We featured this build on Brickbuilt last week.
  3. Great to see you making progress again! The octagonal arena is very cool
  4. Is that a technic plate that you have the trident half buried in? Super clever design if so The alternate version with modern equipment is hysterical
  5. @Gabe Looks to really be taking shape now! Excellent stone texture, and the series of large arches look magnificent
  6. Stone and Timber Wall Design
  7. It's always fun seeing yellow castle MOCs You did a wonderful job making an interesting layout, and capturing the classic castle look The gatehouse and barbican area is my favorite section
  8. Neat pattern at the corners with the 1x2 plates And it's cool that you included wooden rafters inside the tower, showing where the floor will be situated. Really clever parts use with the handcuffs too!
  9. Brilliant fortress set up. The clean classic style is beautiful, and gives the impression of a very solid castle Top-notch construction details as well. Using bars for the wooden frame of the roof is brilliant and well incorporated I like the color choice you made for the water, with trans clear over dark tan. It fits the late autumn setting well
  10. Well then, how about the frigid but stunning North? Glad to see you back in the Guilds, even if you are staying in Avalonia. We've missed Laesonar, so it's wonderful to know his story isn't over
  11. A lot to admire in this build! Gorgeous elven architecture, and the scaffolding and roof repairs look great The sideways bricks for water work well here, though perhaps grey would have looked better for the foam, as currently the white bricks blend in with the white walls of the port.
  12. Typically fun Gunman build, and it's lovely to see your style applied to interiors as well! The staircase cart is crazy, but works well The various flower pots and garden areas add some excellent touches of color
  13. Good use of those ladder elements for the fence, particularly with how you incorporated posts between the sections The horses look well supplied with oats and water too
  14. Well done capturing the dismal atmosphere of jail with both the build and story. Brilliant incorporation of a rat's hole, and it's great seeing the prisoners trying to catch him and lure over the watchdog with key
  15. I too think the lighting is even better this time Very fun to see the interactions between Henjin and his family here And those are some lovely chairs
  16. Woohoo! Super cool stuff guys
  17. Excellent choice of colors for the wastelands The tents fit well with the orcish style, and I really like the look of the tan 2x2 boat tiles and white dinosaur horn assembly. Do you plan to show the finished trading post in another build in the future?
  18. Glad to hear several of you have challenge builds nearly completed! @Puvel We'll be glad to have you back officially
  19. And Gideon is back... Stop making the rest of us look bad The temple can look deceptively simple at first glance, due to its large size and clean style. After looking closer though you can see all the subtle textures included, especially in the run down areas, and admire the flawless handling of way too many angles Absolutely stunning architecture with just the right balance of detailing and color It's also apparent that you spent a lot of time on the minfigures and their activities to really bring the model to life. One small detail that I really admire, is the tree with roots breaking out of its stone planter
  20. Very unique rockwork style, and it works super well! Excellent water technique as well, even in the main overview I can see the shading near the shore to show shallower water And that micro ship design is super clever
  21. Welcome @Drawd! Don't mind @Henjin_Quilones, he must be getting lonely in Avalonia Dward looks like a perfect fit for Mitgardia
  22. Glad to have you in the north. @A_Goodman Contrary to what Kai and HQ said, you certainly joined the right guild Andros has been added to the member index, and I'm excited to see his story develop!
  23. A busy time of year! You did well handling the round roof between the stone and wood portions of the windmill Good minifigure activity throughout, and that's a very clever sickle design. Nice way of showing the roots for each of the trees too
  24. Good combination of bley and tan They are colors I like to use together but need to be balanced properly or it ends up looking strange. The curved portion and half stud offsets work quite well. I think the inclusion of a bushy shrub by the streetside was a good idea, as otherwise that portion of wall would look very boring. As HQ said, a bit more depth to the shrub would improve it though. And of course the story is excellent and promises plenty more adventure to come
  25. Al-Danah Tower Design
