Thanks, he's glad to hear you could easily recognize it Thank you, and he will join once he gets older Thanks! He found the license plate tile with the sticker on it from a set we'd disassembled and thought it worked nicely Thank you Thanks LT

This could be bad I like the tan rock. Perhaps you could add some more variation to the ground by using some white plates and tiles
-
Cool campfire A few more clear plates on the water would probably make it look icier, and the banks would be more defined if they were a plate higher than the water
-
I like the simple fence around the garden, and the leaves on the toolshed roof A little path from the garden to the toolshed would be a nice addition. Is there any reason that some of the blocks you used for the toolshed are red?
-
Neat little fence, and I like the bit of rockwork in the back I think a slightly larger base would have you let you add some more landscaping details though.

I really like that window design Neat color scheme on the house, as always, and the a mobile grinder is a neat idea

My younger brother, age 11, built this produce truck: It does fit a fig: Much of the design was inspired by this model, built by Dix: My brother would love to hear some feedback

Thanks Lasse! Thank you, we've had snow where I live for at least a week now, so I had plenty of real life inspiration

Thanks Gabe I gave some thought to how I could make the houses a bit more interesting, yet stay realistic. I almost asked for credit on the roof rake, but decided not to. There are many great builders entering the CCC, I'll be quite pleased if I get an honorable mention in any of the categories I enter Thanks Gideon! I did try for a more realistic style with this build

I like that you set the building at an angle Cool tower too,

Thank you! As for snowscapes, they take a bit of practice like most landscapes, curved slopes are really useful and something to keep in mind is that snow generally doesn't make large elevation changes quickly Thanks! I figured I should do some research on what Viking children did before I tried to build what they did

The roof on the well isn't my design, Eklund came up with it and here's how it is done: (picture by Eklund)

Thanks, I've gotten into the habit of doing interiors Thank you! I do have an entry planned for the 'other' category Good call on the lens, I'll try that Your welcome, I'm glad you like it! Thanks Sir Yooha, you're right about the pot, only one of the handles really holds it. I thought it would look unbalanced if I only used one handle Thanks! Thank you, there is more information on the University of Petraea here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=88352 Thank you, I liked the way the roofs came out myself Thanks

@synbiote: Glad to have you in Mitgardia And I'm guessing the tree is from the Council of Elrond? -
Hilarious story and a very good build to accompany it The pine trees and waterfall are excellent. I'm looking forward to seeing Jester's adventures continue

At least your city is amazing Thanks Infernum! And generally my builds are at least 32x32 now, even my latest 'vignettes' were 20x20. My LEGO collection has grown a lot over the last year Thanks, I'm glad you think it captures the viking feel as that was my main goal

Thanks kabel I've really been itching to do some totally Mitgardian builds and between this and my castle I've had some fun. I wasn't planning to use this for the MCB as it's a bit big (40x40 plus the border) and I thought there wasn't enough focus on the landscape. But if you'd like me to I will, I'm definitely going to do some more landscape focused builds specifically for the MCB

I'd like to receive credit for: wall techniques (wooden walls) [architecture], and village life [anthropology] = 2 credits for my Nordheim Village build. Also I need one more Kaliphlin to certify the credits I asked for on my Kaldrfell Castle- 343 replies
