  1. I think this is your best build yet, keep listening to advice and you'll keep improving Your fig posing is excellent, it really looks like a siege is taking place. I like the moss on the left wall and the rockwork underneath it looks great! Neat stables inside too. Keep it up
  2. Thanks Jodocus, I'm glad you like the roof
  3. Thanks! Unfortunately I don't think the lights would be bright enough to show much, even if they were I've already completely dissasembled the build Thanks Wedge
  4. Great continuation of your first phase build/story The wooden battlements and support are excellent and I like the little fire going
  5. Well then, by all means Spire members go for it Thanks! And that's odd about the pictures, I use Chrome myself and they're showing up fine Here's a link to the flickr set which has a few pictures: set Thanks kabel, and the lighting is accomplished by one LEGO light brick (in the lava fall on the left) and some electronic gizmos (an itouch and Walkman) under the main pool
  6. Thanks jeroenaa, I'm glad you noticed the use of dark grey and dark bley as I did that a bit more deliberately in this build than I have in the past Thanks ZC And the Spire had better be careful, they wouldn't want to get roasted in all that lava
  7. Thanks! The roof took forever to design, but I'm happy with how it came out Thank you, and I purposely designed the fortress to be neither round nor square, I'd seen to many of those recently Thank you, glad you like the interiors
  8. My first build for Challenge I is up:
  9. I would like to receive credit for the following: roofing (one of three techniques) [Architecture], extreme environments [Landscape Design], life in Nocturnus [Anthropology], lighted builds [General Building]= 4 credits All for my Denrith Fortress
  10. Well here's my build for Category B of Challenge I. The fortress has a full interior and all the doors/drawbridge/trapdoor work. The lava is lit in several spots. Legonardo inspired the roof of the fortress, while kris_kelvin and DR Church inspired the fortress itself. Also Captain Beerbeard suggested lighting the lava I'd like to receive UoP credit for: roofing (one of three techniques) [Architecture], extreme environments [Landscape Design], life in Nocturnus [Anthropology], lighted builds [General Building]= 4 credits Denrith Fortress is the base of operations for the pack under Gavin's leadership. Denrith provides a secure place of retreat after robbing passers by, or more recently after attacks on the Black Spire. Gavin views the Black Spire as a threat to 'business' and thus all his efforts are now spent trying to bring about ruin for the Black Spire. The dungeon in Fenrith has held many kinds of prisoners over the years, but now it holds one Hand of Corruption soldier who the pack is interrogating for information about the Black Spire so that they can plan their next attack. There are some more pictures here: link All comments and criticism welcome
  11. Thanks Kayne Thanks rogue, I generally don't focus too much on historical accuracy so it was a fun change to do so for this build
  12. The werewolf fig looks very fierce The Mitgardian weapon holder looks very much like it would come in a official advent calendar Great micro Nocturnus fortress too
  13. Great build for phase II! I like the sturdy feel to the wall and gate Neat detail with the weapons/armor vendor. Also I like how you included the Mitgardian colors in the border. I'm looking forward to your Phase III build
  14. Cool to see each guild represented in one build and I like the mix of dark tan and tan in the landscape The angled plate works well too
  15. Great incorporation of the bear shields I like all the interiors, they add a lot of life to the build The wall works nicely for a Mitgardian city, somewhat simple, but very solid. Is that Elon walking around?
  16. The reddish brown and dark green house looks amazing :wub:I like your use of crates for the first floor and the gold accents work nicely. The street looks great, I like the texture and colors you used Very glad that your friend was able to convince you to stay in GoH
  17. Perfect Nocturnus landscape :thumbup:The wear and tear on the windmill is also excellent, I like the vines peeking through some of the holes, and the spider web
  18. Looks much better now! I like the addition of the tree and more rocks Your rocks look a little blocky, next time you do them try using a few smaller pieces (like cheese-slopes, plates and tiles) to make them look more natural
  19. Go right ahead with phase 2 I'm looking forward to seeing it
  20. Your roof designs always inspire me, I particularly like how you built the roof of the tower, I don't think I've ever seen anyone build a four sided roof that way and it looks great As others have said, your shutter design on the house works nicely I also really like how you made the wall predominantly white, we don't see that much in Castle builds, even though it is historically accurate. This is your second build for the CCC? Build four more as good as your first two and I think you'll have a very good shot at MB
  21. Excellent Mitgardian landscape and the training dummy looks great I like the pose you gave the knight as well
  22. As always a hilarious story and I really like how you built the outpost Looks like something a couple kids would make to play make-believe castle. The parts usage int he outpost is excellent too
  23. @Ecc: Good find with that head, I'd wondered before if Elon was always so stern looking
  24. Such a beauty The roofs look fantastic and the detailing around the windows adds some great texture The stone details at the corners of the top roof look great, and are a clever way to avoid having your roof slope in two directions at once. Keep it up, Legonardo
  25. I think Legonardo is probably right, but if SoT were to come back it would be awesome Sirens-Of-Titan was the leader of Mitgardia for almost all of Book I. You can see his builds here
