    Gorgeous Stunning dwarven architecture around the gate, with the macaroni tiles/round shield combo being a definite highlight for me I like your rough rockwork, though a few areas do look a touch messy. Excellent use of SNOT elements for the stony path and carved slab in front the door

    Have to echo the praise for your neat detailing with the 1x1 plates and wedge tiles - it looks beautifully dwarven Great to see the dwarves of Mitgardia represented in this challenge, and I hope you make lots more builds in this style!

    Wonderfully entertaining obstacle course Great work going the extra mile to make the obstacles actually function The rolling logs and crumbling castle sections are my favorites

    This was entry number nine for the Colossal Castle Contest XVI. The Great Wall category was one I liked a lot, and I quickly thought of building some of the fortified city of Carcassonne in France. While my model isn’t an exact replica of any section of the Carcassonne, I did base it mainly off of one of the gate areas, and every tower and wall setup was influenced by sections of the real thing. It is one of my biggest builds ever, weighing in at 35 pounds. Harburg isn't far from the famous fortified city of Crasonne. As such, Karsten has often visited Crasonne on various administrative matters. Today he is accompanied by Eryl, who hasn't seen the city since he was a small child. After a brief meeting with Mikill, lord of Crasonne, the Storrars are given a tour of Crasonne's defenses by a sergeant of the guard. Eryl has a hard time focusing on the details about tower placement, multiple gates, and stone construction that his father discusses with the sergeant. He can't help but feel tiny atop the massive stone walls, and there is plenty of interesting hustle and bustle on the city road. A group of knights are leaving Carcassonne after a tournament in the city, while various guards and peasants go about their business. Someday I'll compete in a tournament, Eryl thinks to himself upon seeing their brightly colored armor and mighty warhorses. One of the Crasonne guards takes advantage of their sergeant being distracted with the guests from Harburg. See plenty more images on Brickbuilt. This was a tedious build, but 'm very pleased with the end result. Hope you all like it

    Very comfortable looking open air theater. The bench arrangement is nicely framed by the stone pillars Good choice to include a tree for a bit more color in the scene

    Great use of that dark orange sail and the dramatic tilt of the boat adds a lot to the scene

    Great to see the town hall finished The various modes of transport traversing the busy streets all look very cool and fit well in Kaliphlin.

    Quarries can be a tricky thing to portray, and you did a great job capturing the look of chiseled stone Fun use of the ice skate as a pick, and the broken black bar makes an excellent chisel

    This was my eighth entry for the Colossal Castle Contest XVI, in the Classic Castle category. Like the original Wolfpack sets, I used primarily black walls with bley accents, red roofs, and even included a few dark gray parrots. A hinging portion and removable wall give access to the full interior. The bandit wolfpack’s keep is set on a small lake deep in one of Mitgardia's many forests. It serves as their permanent base of operations. A sturdy drawbridge is the only way to access the fortress, and its secluded position has kept it safe so far from any large scale attacks by the jarl’s soldiers.     Lots of excellent details here! The floor patterns are lovely, and fit well in a bath house Though it might have been better to not use any blue in the floor, since you're also using that for the water color in the baths. It's not easy posing a large number of figs in interesting ways, but you pulled it off brilliantly here!

    Ostrich racing looks to be a very competitive sport in Mophet! Well done making an arena that looks functional without be absolutely massive And there's a nice variety of minifigure activity going on in the scene

    This was my 6the ntry for the Colossal Castle Contest XVI. As the title indicates, this one was for the Medieval Militia category. I’m quite satisfied with the sloping wall foundation, and how smoothly I got the angled portion to fit. The tower top style was inspired by Steven Erickson. The annual training of militia is always a trying time for Sir Renaud. While he no longer directly oversees the weapons drills it’s practically painful to watch some of the peasants try and use the blunted practice swords, throw javelins, or even fire a simple bow and arrow! Others are only too confident in their supposed combat skills. At least there haven’t been any injuries so far this year… More images available here.     Excellent building, especially the timber portion. It's fun seeing the new macaroni tiles get incorporated more and more in medieval scenes, and they work nicely here. Lovely roof design, and the sideways masonry bricks make a top-notch street
