That apple archery target practice looks a little stressful! Always good seeing more of your storyline, and like HQ I appreciate all the effort you put into posing for different shots

Things have gone a bit quiet around here. Anyone working on more free builds, or planning their character's storyline? -
[Avalonia Mini-challenge] Heir of the Druids
soccerkid6 replied to Grover's topic in Guilds of Historica
Plenty of nice details included on each level of the tower Clever way to use both minidolls and minifigures in the same scene, and I did enjoy reading the story -

Don't believe I've seen hair used for a plowed field before - very neat effect! The plow and harness setup are also excellent Good call to include a few trees and small section of stone wall as well -
Avalonia Mini-Challenge: Halgreld of Eldford

Lovely use of half stud offsets in the tower stonework, especially with how you transition from a 6x6 foundation to 5x5 upper stories The ramshackle house sections look great leaning out over the top-notch cobblestone street -
Avalonia Mini-Challenge: Defending the Streets

Fun to see MDF used for the path in the top scene The bush using grass stalks and the new 3 leaf plant together looks great. And well done fitting a house front along with neat arch over the street in such a small space. -

Entry to King of Avalonia: Trade to make Avalonia even greener
soccerkid6 replied to de Gothia's topic in Guilds of Historica
Beautiful interior with the sand green walls set off perfectly by the dark tan floor, reddish brown furniture, and gold accents Good use of the new candle and flame elements, and I like the little statue bust design on the shelf -
Neat idea to use a series of scenes to show off your claimant to the throne. I think you did well capturing a style similar to HQ's builds for the royal corridor, and I like the table design and wood rafters of the second scene

Great to see you continuing to update your build! The technic functions must be a lot of fun to see -
Always a pleasure seeing more built in the Elven style The colors and architecture make this clearly fantasy and look great. Good use of SNOT bricks for the gazebo floor

The winding cobble stone path is lovely You packed a lot into the small scene, and did well incorporating a nice bit of elevation change in the landscape -

Dark blue, white, and bley are a great color combo Pretty architecture, good cobblestone streets, and the thronging crowd all come together well.- 11 replies

Very fitting statue for this scene The tall tree is well built and it's fun seeing what little details you incorporated in the border -
Stunning tree! Full Plate's design is perfectly suited to Avalonia, and you did a marvelous job with the flowers and plants in the landscape too
-
Have to say this is one of my favorite builds from you. Something about the combination of colors and architectural style just looks so good! Super cool arch shape using those 1x2 bows beneath the arches, and the printed elements fit in perfectly. Lovely floor mosaic to finish the scene

I always find making enough figs for a large scene to be a bit tedious, but obviously with your son's help that wasn't an issue here! Very cool use of wands to cap off the posts -
Challenge II: Category A: Outside the city walls
soccerkid6 replied to dathil's topic in Guilds of Historica
The bley and dark bley stonework looks great. Your tower and buttress setup is cool even if not overly functional, and I like the fig posing. There's a few areas of the tower where I think it would be better to remove the dark red in favor of bley, but overall good work
