  1. Great model, making me thirsty!
  2. All that's missing is Dr Jones Senior, Marcus Brodie, and the fountain pen!
  3. Is there much point in the gallery link in the header? As the site now only hosts thumbnail sized images it's not even really handy as an archived resource, and there hasn't been any activity on it in 15 years...
  4. I imagine that they'd float OK; it's stability that's likely to be the issue. I wonder if there's a way to include a ballast brick in there somewhere.
  5. That ended up being a good bit of procrastination! I went for a couple of different figs; mountaineering me, whisky blending me and Navy me.
  6. Suspension detail; I think it should work but will have to try actually building it to be sure.
  7. The enhanced pallet load system is a replacement for the old DROPS wagons used in the British Army, used to deliver ISO containers or flat-racks quickly and efficiently.
  8. Pink Panther - quite tricky to get right with the lack of pink pieces, but I think it works OK.
  9. Neat, would love to see that! Maybe an SAS Willys Jeep too, to complete the set.
  10. Inspired me to make the military version too!
  11. Very loosely based on 40650, but pretty much a new model by this point. Marking the end of an era as the British Army retires the Land Rover Defender, this is the RWMIK version of the Land Rover Wolf. Armed with an FN MAG general purpose machine gun and a Browning M2 heavy machine gun. This one appears to be operated by the Royal Tank Regiment, as the beret piece is only available in black!
  12. Thanks all! Completely by coincidence there, but it's certainly similar. The mixed traffic is very interesting, I might redesign the bridge some day for that.
  13. A little something I threw together, a bascule bridge over a river. Control room Being an old bridge, it often needs repairs - hence the scaffold and the builder with his workboat Control room interior Bridge opened - operated by a Powered Up motor in the base of the tower
  14. Crikey! Combining that level of functionality and detail is really something else.
  15. This idea has a pretty good brick-built Snoopy... https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-113384/Pioneer4x4/snoopy-vs-red-baron-mainly-for-jk-brickworks-pursuit-of-flight/#details
  16. Looks great! I'm sure I had something similar a long time ago as a set; this is a nice update. https://www.toysperiod.com/img/cache/4a/0x0/d4e4o5g414f4w5w5n4z5m44426a4k4l4y574u5b446u21384x21304x2t2w2u2g4w594o224l2r2.jpg That one didn't articulate though, so good improvement
  17. I went pretty simple: The orange parts are all inverted brackets, you can swap them out for regular brackets on the places where the mounts are. The whole thing is basically held together by 4 x N plates (shown in blue), which can overlap to join together any section length. It gives a roughly 6 stud wide tube, so it can be capped with 6-stud diameter circular parts.
  18. I had that one too!
  19. I think I had at least half of those as a kid!
  20. Great trucks, but I really love the jerry can! Stealing that
  21. I wonder how the curve radii compare to the rollercoaster track?
  22. Could always motorise one of the carriages?
  23. Love it! Inspired me to make a custom "hot rod" version of the same truck
