Hi everyone. It's ages since I've posted a new MOC here on Eurobricks but I wanted to share my latest creation, a coastal scene called "Fun at the Seaside". The model is inspired by my memories of family holiday at the seaside and depicts a nostalgic and vibrant beach scene, with the main focal point being a large Victorian Pier. The pier itself is packed full of details including a functional Ferris Wheel, some arcade machines, an ice cream shop and a hotdog stand. At the head of the pier is a traditional bandstand complete with a brass band and there is also a spot for fishing from the end of the pier. A series of steps lead down from the pier and on to the beach. I've included a couple of beach huts which can be removed from the model to give easy access to their interiors. There are lots of details and little stories happening on the beach. These include a couple having their picnic ruined by a mob of hungry seagulls and a boy (based on my own son) building sand castles. There is also a minifigure being buried in the sand. I have fond memories of doing this to my Dad when I was a kid, so this minifigure is based on my Dad. On the opposite side of the beach are some tidal rock pools that the children can explore with their nets. Nestled in the cliff face is the entrance to a mysterious sea cave. The cave interior can be accessed from the back of the model. Thanks very much for checking out my latest design. I hope you like it. I've decided to give this one a shot on LEGO Ideas so any votes of support would be greatly appreciated. https://beta.ideas.lego.com/product-ideas/9b032038-cfc4-489a-84a9-44f10e80823e Thank you very much!

Hi, this is a collaboration between Fictictious Pasta and me - our biggest installment, completely digital. Build with mecabricks and finally rendered in Blender to completion. Maybe some of you remember the late 80ies and early 90ies TLG catalogues depicting Harbour scenes and Piers with a collection of all sets in the same picture. We tried to do that era some justice by putting that scene together showing vehicles, BURPs, the classic Palm trees and a Paradisa inspired restaurant and beach hut. Enjoy a day at the pier! If you look close, there are a lot of old sets remade in here, including the Sand Dollar Cafe, the Beach Hut, a Town Delivery Van, and so on. There are also two new cars for the collab, a Nissan Skyline R31, and an Jeep like vehicle. The Pier - 90ies Nostalgia by Ron Dayes, auf Flickr (1/43 scaled environment and vehicles) Pasta: - red van - blue japanese car (R31) - gillnetter boat - palmtrees - beach hut - minfig design - RENDERING and final edit Dayes: - black sportscar - yellow 4x4 (Jeep) - Restaurant - water - wooden pier - rockwork - LAYOUT and arrangement

This little fishing boat is about to set sail! This cute boat is the fishing vessel of Pablo, an old bearded fisherman who loves spending his days fishing and sailing in the open sea. The boat is equipped with everything you need for deep-sea fishing. Theo, Pablo's best friend, is waiting for him on the pier with his kitten to find out what fish he has caught. About the set This brick-built vessel amazes for the extreme similarity to the real ones and for the attention to detail. The set is composed by the hull, the cabin and a front compartment to store the caught fish. Two minifigures are included in the diorama, Pablo and Theo. A small pier completes the set which looks like a nice postcard. The boat is built with many special and fun techniques, for sure you will love to build it! The cabin of the boat can be lifted up to reveal the engine compartment beneath it. The front compartment can also be lifted and there is a small storage area underneath. Fishing Boat is on BRICKLINK DESIGNER PROGRAM 5 and could become an official set! It now needs your support, if you like it you can support it! With your support, hopefully we can turn the Fishing Boat into an actual LEGO BDP set. Thank you all for your support, comments and shares!
