  1. Well we still have to see if the goat is even in there. It does seem likely to me, that they really bring her back, but you never know.
  2. September. But back then it was just known that a bigger Lord of the Rings set would come, not which yet. Or better said, there were the first rumours that there might be one coming.
  3. Given that I would expect some animals in there I think 300 really is the more realistic price. But guess first informations about the price won´t be long now, so we will see. The Medival Blacksmith is kinda big for a Lego building to be honest. I mean put it next to the Lion Knights castle, it just wouldn´t match. And building a whole market in that size just would be unrealistic.I would expect the market will only exist out of 3 buildings but even three of the size of the Medieval Blacksmith would be a 500€ Set. ;)
  4. That could have easily have been done by a bot. I mean, when you change certrain names like for instance renaming VIP into insiders there are many sites and links you would have to change it. It is possible that they do it manually but I would think they use a bot for such tasks. Anyways. They announced back then that parts would also count and they do ever since. No idea why they never removed it from the terms and conditions, but the most likely reason for me is still they just forgot about it.
  5. Well the time before christmas usually is one where they try to get more stuff sold. Many old sets expire, you have black friday and other shopping events and so on. Aside from that, obviously sales aren´t going to go as good as they did. People have less money to spend now, as things got more expensive.
  6. I think it wasn´t meant to make a new mould for it. Just to bring it back.
  7. Well, when they merged Pick a Brick and Parts and Pieces last year they announced that those parts would count towards GWPs. I think the terms are a relic from the time before that, where it actually really didn´t count. They likely just copy and paste it from one event to the other and change the date. That would only change when adding pieces but not when adding the parts to the order ;)
  8. Well as the title already says, I would like to hear your predictions about next years Lego sets (or themes). They should, obviously, not be announced yet, or leaked - however feel free to predict one of the leaks will not happen or to predict certain details for a rumoured set or theme (again, ones that are not leaked yet) I will start with a prediction towards the rumoured Medival Market Village. I predict we will see Wolfpack Bandits there. Because, well bandits are always good to bring some action in those sets and the original village also had some opponents (although those were knights) Second prediction, kinda following the first one, we will see a remake of the 6038 Wolfpack Renegades as GWP. I would actually love to get the 6075 Wolfpack Tower but that seems a bit to big for a GWP honestly. Third, again for the Medieval Market Village, I predict the return of the goat, because it just seems kinda unlikely that it won´t return after Lego saw how much people were hoping to get the goat back when they introduced the Farm and the Lion Knights Castle.
  9. Well we get another Blacktron set soon if the rumours are true, so more of the classic themes doesn´t mean we have to get a faction we didn´t got yet. But aside from that, there is still plenty left. Castle and Space alone have so many factions they could remake. Though I would guess they are concentrating on the older ones for now. That beeing said, I wouldn´t wonder if Wolf Pack would come back soon. They could become bandits for the Medieval Market Village for instance and then appear in a GWP together with it. We also still have to see which faction we will get along with the Majisto GWP.
  10. Of course. But well if you are looking for a recolour the price shouldn´t matter much, because you would need to rebrick it anyways ;). But for me the ship is just to round for any of the classic themes. Of course you can still use it as a new modern ship for on of those factions. After all they are evolving their tech and design too.
  11. Honestly. I think that space ship is kinda ugly and doesn´t really fit in any of thos themes.
  12. Well you could say Doctor Who is a one Set subtheme of Ideas. Lego Universe is (or was?) an online Game, but also a Lego Theme out of two Polybags.
  13. Castle. My favourite from that would likely be Fantasy Era, as I like the fantasy aspect of that one.
  14. Johnny Thunder surely is the most Iconic one, especially since his name was actually known to many people thanks to the casette that was in one of those sets. Aside from that, the Knights of Knights Kingdom II would be my favourites. Especially the versions of the later Sets, as those were much better designed. The minifig design of the first wave was just awfull IMO.
  15. Yeah, but I belive, Space, Pirates and Castle are just the Lego classic Themes, with plenty of different sets over the years which Vikings just doesn´t have. So I doubt we will see Viking remake sets as they are just to new. And as I said while I would love for Lego to expand their historic themes to new Sets of stuff like Rome, Egypt or new Viking sets it just seems unlikely to me, honestly. I would actually be surprised if the Lion Knights Castle would retire that soon. Sets of that Size and Price usually stay around for longer, unless they perform bad. I don´t have a doubt that the Vikings set will perform good, but that just means that they might keep doing sets like this but not necessarily the vikings theme. I think most of the people that will buy it are the same that would also buy a castle Set. And even for the historic/nostalgic themes they are basically stand alones. Sure you could count the forestmen hideout to the castle, and if the rumours are true we get a second blacktron one next year. But in the end it would make most sense if you want to make an other set for a theme at the same time. Like the dragon ship is now retiring when the viking village is coming out but there is no new one to replace it.
  16. Vladek (Castle), Sam Sinister and Baron von Barron (Adventueres) and the Bandits from the Western Series.
  17. I would bet we will not see any vikings for a while now. But hopefully, with them doing more historic sets again, we will see more sets like that from other nations. Romans, Egyptians etc. Although I kinda doubt they do that unless it ends on ideas.
  18. Well for CMF Series it won´t matter that much, but when it comes to Sets I am pretty sure if they would do sets it would be about the traditional life. In the end that is what the costumers would be looking for. So in the end, a little Villiage/Camp with some tipis, some indians, horses. Add two buffalos to it and you got the perfect set IMO. I wouldn´t agree with that statement. The way of depiction as a toy might be unique especially in its amount, but you can´t really say there was no depiction at all for other cultures...
  19. I am very certain it will be free to all purchases. You only will know when they announce it for sure, but it would highly surprise me if it would be otherwise.
  20. Well we have to see which of the PAB parts they will use. All would be great but I kinda doubt that. Second one sounds great
  21. I guess it is from the Skaerbaek Event he mentioned in an other thread, Did they give any information about it or were just mentioning improvements? The online BAM is lacking parts since its introduction. And instead of increasing them, they removed parts over time, which made it even more useless. I just hope the improvement doesn´t mean they add just ten parts or so each category but make some serious improvements there.
  22. I would guess somewhere in the range of 170-220€. I doubt it will get a lower threshold, since there will be an other gwp at the same time, which I would guess to have an lower purchase as requirement.
  23. My favourity Dragons are the ones from Castles Fantasy Era. Especially the one from LEGO 7048 Troll Warship with his armour looks great. As for the Ninjago ones, there are some quite good ones to. But Brickbuild for me just works in bigger models, smaller models like Fluffy in Harry Potter just kinda look awfull.
  24. Well they also had Indians back then, but actually there were never Indians and Cowboy/Army in the same Set. So yeah, you could say Lego was already quite progressive at that time. I had or better still I still have some of the sets and actually never even thought about this fact. When you look at Knight themes you almost always have some good and some bad guys in those sets.
