LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 25. Rumors and discussion
Black Falcon replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
It sounded to me like they would be adding the Sets name (likely with number) on setboxes, so blind people can identify sets themselves - so it would have to be braille. However, it sounds kinda strange to me a shop employee has that kind of information including that there would be ways to identify the minifigure with it. While the first seems likely to me (after all inclusion is a theme Lego cares for) I kinda have my doubts about the second. But we will see.- 574 replies

Noone said that would be the reason they are not making those own themes again. They might aswell do that in the future again but for now it seems unlikely - as for the reasons they are not doing it, we can only speculate anyways, only Lego will know for sure. However now that they are doing the retro Sets, it does seem unlikely we will get a wave of sets with an own theme, especially when we see the number of other themes around.
-
I still have my doubts that that would work for Castle and Pirates - and I don´t think they will do it. While with Space you can easily do it, since it is a modern theme, it won´t work with those. And theme park sets aside from little GWP Sets seem unlikely to me.
-
The chances for an own Space Theme are incredible low IMO, same as for Pirates and Castle. They could do it, if they wanted but they clearly don´t want to - especially not when they are doing retro Sets for that themes already - or can just add it to the city line. If thoses Sets sell well it might increase the chance for a new City Space-wave but I doubt it would bring a new space theme.

3,99€ is the normal price you get them here. And actually they should be the same for the whole Eurozone. Well you certainly don´t need to buy all of them this year (CMF ofc would be one you are better of buying close to release) since many of this Sets will stay around for another year - of course then there will be new sets and it won´t get any better. But sometimes this also helps deciding which sets you really want, since you can´t afford all sets you like and even more don´t have infinite space anyways. For Example I still have the Lion Knights Castle, Rivendell, Temple of the Golden Idol on the list, and soon enough we will get the next Sets with Medieval Market Square and the Dungeon and Dragon one. The Lion Knights Castle is maybe my favourite Set of all times, but I haven´t got it yet because it is going to stay around for a longer time (and because it wasn´t on sale for Black Friday, like it was in NA) - Rivendell on the other side, while beeing a very beautiful Set, and I like the Lord of The Rings and the Minifigs included might be a Set I will not get in the end, because of the reasons mentioned above. The Temple of the Golden Idol is sitting somewhere in between those two.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 25. Rumors and discussion

I would be interested to know whether this works. As mentioned above the codes are different from the one from the Mexican Factory, but it should be the same system just with different numbers I hope.- 574 replies

Lego usually doesn´t sell Polybacks. They give them out as GWP sometimes, but you mainly will see them in other retailers shops.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Black Falcon replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
The article says they will be added later this month. They got the info in advance like they got with the retiring pieces back in november. -
Well we have the Moments Space Set and the Medieval Town Square - but also another, still unnamed Moments Set, which could be Pirates. POTC is wishfull thinking. As long as there is no new movie, we won´t see new sets either. And with all the retro sets they are doing lately, it will certainly be an remake of an old classic set.

Lego Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square Discussion Thread
Black Falcon replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Well it happened before that Sets didn´t have the same exclusivity in all countrys - though for most Sets it seems to be the same at least in NA, Europe and Australia. So it is possible it was not exclusive at all in your country. All I can say here it was exclusive to Lego and one of their partners. And while it wasn´t Amazon that had it, they also are on of those partners here - they are the only ones that, aside from Lego, are selling Rivendell. -
I don´t think they would ever make a Pirate Village, unless it is on ideas. Some kind of hideout on the otherside seems more likely. I would expect an Pirate ship next, when we are talking about normal Sets - with GWPs they could kinda do everything.

The amount of glue will vary from pack to pack, no matter if they are from the same factory or not - however Stonewars, which is one of the sources in his table, is a german blog and their packs are from the czech Factory.- 574 replies

LEGO Ideas Discussion
Black Falcon replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Because noone created one? Anyways, I am actually surprised it comes that early in the year - would have expected some time between that one and the MTS. I hope it looks as good as the fandesigner one. -
Same as the Galaxy Explorer did - that one did really surpise me, and aswell as Baracuda Bay mentioned above. Just that both of them had such a "short" duration planned while the Eldorado had a longer period planned.

Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I agree with you, that it would likely be a bit much for some people, however for many it wouldn´t matter that much if they buy two sets for half the price or that price or one - in the end it will be avaiable for less anyways. And while think that the 139,99 one is more likely to be the great hall + whatever but wouldn´t hold it impossible that the 199,99 could be that aswell. However, the question would remain, if the 199,99 one isn´t the great hall, what would it be then? It seems unlikely that any other set from the Castle System will have that Price, so it would either need to be something completely different. Or, it will just be the chambers of secret + other rock sections like potions class - and you can just leave the Castle without the rockwork if it is to expensive to you, without that it would look that much like something is missing. While there will surely be several reasons, I would also think that discussions in other groups (FB, Instagram, TG, reddit) might have become a bit more common with time. -
Kinda strange change IMO. Wondering if it didn´t sell that well, since it was in most of the top 3 Lists for this years Set.

Lego Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square Discussion Thread
Black Falcon replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I would expect the Medieval Town Square to have more Minifigs and Animals, while the Dungeons and Dragons Set might have bigger Parts in return - but the main difference might indeed be licensing, and then we have no idea how both will be sold. It isn´t that unlikely to me that both could be Exclusively to either Lego alone or one of their Partners. Even then the difference still sounds a bit big though, especially since I would think of the D&D one having 5 Minifigs (ofc it is possible there will be more but it just sounds the most likely number to me). We will just have to wait till we see both of them I guess. The Rivendell and Indiana Jones Sets are both Sets that are still on my list - however likely MTS will land there too and when the D&D one comes near to the fan build that one too - which ones I am really going to buy in the end, no idea, I don´t really have space for either right now. Medieval Blacksmith was Exclusive to Lego and one of their Exclusive Partners same like the 3-in-1 Set is. And it seems very likley that both the MTS and the D&D one will be the same - if not exclusive to Lego alone only. -
Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I would guess either the 139,99 or the 199,99 Set will be the Great Hall with whatever it comes. If it includes the Chambers of Secrets again, with a more detailed aproach than the last wave that could aswell be top price-set - the other one could maybe be the Durmstrang Ship then? In the end it can really be anything lol. Anyways, other guesses: Grand Staircase Tower (69,99? - seems a bit high, but then again we have no idea what will be in there - but the lower prices seem to low for it, so I will go with that one) I would have guessed for the Troll from the first scene, but same problem there, can´t really find any set that looks to be the right price range (considering the pieces inclused) Another Shop from Diagon Alley? Olivanders for instance? If we get the Knight Bus that one could be the 89,99 one (but could aswell be 69,99) -
Jurassic Park/World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Does it? Compare it to 76964 (the T-rex fossil) and we got almost the same price per piece. So I would guess we will either see another buildable Fossil, which would be a likely guess - or they come up with a buildable skeleton or something (which I think is less likely). Given price and partnumber are quite a bit lower, I would expect something with less size, like a raptor maybe? Though it kinda feels hard to do that since less parts would basically also mean less details and certain parts like teeth could look to big. Well and aside from that I would have expected something more different from the T-Rex would be next, like the Triceratops - but for that one the part count seems to low - unless they only make the skull without the footprint. -
Lord of the Rings Ongoing Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Momotof's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
They are actually adding nothing. The leak was a survey, that had a price range - and 460 is still within that range. We will have to wait for pictures, but I would kinda guess, that there would be more bigger pieces used for Barad-Dûr than they did for Rivendell. Not going to say we won´t see many small pieces for details there, but there should also be a bigger number of big pieces to build the tower. Also, you can´t really count a gwp minifig towards a set - I mean, first of all when you buy the set now you don´t get the gwp - and you got it to other sets than gringotts anyways ;). (Not to mention you can use Rivendell or Barad-Dûr to get GWPs with minifigs also - ofc very likely not Lord of the RIng ones) -
Shouldn´t he not get the Modular at all? I mean, they usually are also Exclusive to one of Lego´s Partners only. That beeing said it is quite normal that those sets are sold for at least 3 Months exclusively by Lego - and of course it is to sell it to the people that want to have it at release - I sometimes wonder why they don´t do that with all Sets with at least one month exclusivity ;). As for the set appearing at other Norwegian retailers - as mentioned above it will be exclusive to one partner only - however, it is possible that excluvise partners from other countrys get it that also sell them to other countrys.

I mean when both sets and PAB are filled from the same boxes, it seems more likely that parts that don´t belong in other boxes get there when people fill the PAB-Orders. -
Well then it is even less likely they bring normal sets back - however there were rumours but nothing that was really certain, or that I would take as a reason to belive we will really get the theme back.
-
Rivendell was last year - so they might have decided to bring it back based on it´s sucess - however we yet have no proof that we will see the theme back as whole other than Barad-Dur. And we will see whether this will be an Icons set or not - as for more sets, time will tell. I could see them doing some Brickheadz again but those aren´t an own theme either.

I am actually wondering if this has to do with pick a brick - I mean when they use the same container/box for both, it seems more likely that parts get into a box where they don´t belong that way.
