I wasn´t trying to imply anything - however, I agree with you that reading it again, you can get the impression that I did. Howevery the discussion seems to run in circles, since none of the Arguments against having them in sets, which I am pretty sure we will not see, nor against Indiana Jones sets in general in the new future is really answered to ;).

Very impressive indeed. I fully agree on the background greebling, looks just great and makes it look much more interesting than just a plain black background. I guess you will soon run out of space for new shields, but the good thing is, beeing built out of Lego it is easy to increase it´s size, lol.

It seems kinda unlikely that they bring that brick back into production just for one set, so I would guess we will. And once they do I wouldn´t wonder when more designers will want to include it anyways. However on the other side we might not see it in to many sets since I would guess they also cost a lot budget.

If they wanted to do that they wouldn´t have canceled the sets. There is no way they will release them now.

We already got information about that price earlier on from different sources, the only one stating it would be 215 was brickclicker, which would lead to the guess that that might have been the price they were aiming for at the beginning and which already was outdated info back then.

I love the civilian angle actually and honestly, I wouldn´t need any knight at all in this set, which just cut a place for one more villager in the end - though, of course they are much cheaper to do since, they just can all look alike, while villagers would wear different clothing etc. Sadly the original village, same as the Mill Village Raid were released in my dark ages, else I would have bought them for sure - nowadays the prices are insane, so I don´t even think about it lol. Anyways, I kinda understand the prices for the minifigs and anymals. but I see sets without both offered for insane prices still - I sometimes wonder who buy that...

It is the same price we had more than two months ago - the only one ever stating it would be 215 and not 230 like the other sources mentioned was brickclicker. And back then it already seemed unlikely low - I mean as it is now we are speaking about 7ct per piece - and while there surely also are a lot little pieces, for the amount of animals we are expecting, together with hopefully many new villager prints and other printed pieces, that is still a quite good price.

Uhm, yes there is. Both of the first are certain factions from the past, which both certainly aren´t famous for their good deeds. The second, while there surely was also cruelty, and lots of dead people don´t depict any real faction. Matter fact, when you look back even in the old Lego Sets, you had Native Americans aswell as Soldiers and Cowboys. But the sets were not designed to let the Soldiers fight against the natives, but against Bandits. of course you could still have played with them in any ways you liked - but given the time those sets came out Lego actually was very progressive back then - as for Pirates and Castle, while there were wars there too, you can´t really compare them with what the Nazis did.

Well the only really new information we got there is the release date. So finally that one is confirmed. Then I guess it won´t be long till more information will show up, aswell as a reveal in less than two months.

Why does it have to be Nazis? Indiana Jones is about Adventure, not about Nazis. You can replace them just by any generic bad guy (and especially in a series made for kids you don´t need to have one in every episode). For instance you could just have someone that wants the treasures for his own collection like the opponents in Lego´s inhouse-Adventurers series.

The picture now has way better quality though ;). Well anyways it looks better than expected. Actually surprices about the sound combinations - I would have guessed he just gives out the four houses. Now he might aswell use some lines from the films maybe?

Both are not the sets were that dragon would return to anyways. Aside from that the LNY would feature a more chinese Dragon and the D&D had a big brickbuild one, with no way to reduce it to that size, the only sets where that dragon would actually make sense i s a retro one - and even the Medieval Town Square isn´t retro enough, since it is a complete new set inspired by past sets. It actually seems a bit unlikely that they bring that dragon back - on the other side it is very iconic so they could just make a gwp with that dragon, and a minifig. maybe a mini sidebuild. And yes it seems unlikely they would bring it back in a gwp - but you never know what they are planning. All in all I wouldn´t get my hopes up to much, since just adding something from past themes doesn´t have to mean anything. As for this beeing a teaser for the MTS, you sadly don´t see much in there, that doesn´t belong to either the MBS or LKC. So best guess out of it for the MTS would be we get a pig and a chicken lol.

One set beeing named intergalactic spaceship would kinda hint, that it isn´t within our solar system actually.

I wouldn´t say 3 years is a rule. More like that is how long it takes for them to release one full hogwarts - with the new, more detailed system, it could aswell be 4 years - but then I don´t think it would be much more because then to many of the first sets would be retired already so integral parts of the castle won´t be avaiable anymore. The greenhouses you mentioned were actually my guess for the next sets. Well we got boathouse, owlery and hargrits hut now, which are all sets you can basically include to both the old and the new system - so the greenhouses, which you can add to both too, are still my guess for the some wave.

I wouldn´t agree on that. Friends figures are way bigger than minifigures, so everything will be to big vor them - which you ofc can change to make it fit better for the minifigure, although you might need to change some moulds to fit better. Anyways in case of the Space-Set that shouldn´t be a problem anyways.

Hard to tell since every person is different, but personally, beeing interested mainly in System myself, I really like the VTOL, which actually looks pretty cool IMO. Not that much interested in the other three sets, though.

I would never buy it on full price at walmart, when you get Insider Points and GWP when you buy it for the same price at Lego ;). And aside from the US, I didn´t hear from any discount even close to this from any other country. Also, unlike in the US we also didn´t got any discount on it for Black Friday from Lego on it - which would likely have been the case if it hadn´t sold - I would have loved to get it discounted however ;) - same as the Castle, but that is another story.

Well we see different colour crystals in the set too - however I think that scene kinda showed the first contact with that crystal - and they then analysed it, and tried to get more - and ultimately they found the origin of that crystal and once the tech was far enough they started to travel there to mine them. They mainly use it for nostalgia reasons, and because it is famous now - I woulddn´t put to much into it´s presence. It can carry containers - so it easily can collect the container full of batteries and drop it off on earth.

As long as they have different themes, it won´t. They even made one for Thor although we already got a viking ship already. Then we have ships in city, the pirate ship - and actually next year there will be more ships added too. Anyways, if they would care for the number of ships in total we already would have to many now.

I liked Rogue one actually. Not a big fan of the new triology though. But Solo wasn´t that bad either IMO.

I think that is not the point. Likely they wouldn´t care that Lego does a CMF-Series - as long as Lego would pay licensing fees to them, if they hold it.

We actually don´t know if it really is new. I mean, more likely they already used that tech to get there - and actually I think in the Lego City thread there was an episode of the series where they just found that crystals (on an asterioid I think) - so I would say that Space series is actually playing in the future (well obviously) and they used that tec developed from that crystal to search in the galaxy for more. I would say Mars mission has nothing to do with this series. Lego´s later Space Series were all pretty much stand alone material. Well to bring batteries and/or crystals back to earth you could use the Interstellar spaceship - however since it likely takes a lot of energy it might make more sense to collect them and wait till a bigger ship comes and takes them. Something like the Heavy Cargo Spaceship.
