  1. Oh man, that would be amazing if they did that! But sadly I think such a game would be too violent for them. However, one can always dream! Here is my list: Ninjago (Kai, Zane, Jay, Cole, Nya, Lloyd) Attacks: martial arts, spinjitzu/airjitzu (similar to Meta Knight's spin attack), elemental attack (shoot fire/ice/lightning/rocks/water/green energy) Special: Summon their dragons or one of their vehicles Nexo Knights Attacks: attack with their signature weapons, one or two of the Nexo power ups Special: Summon their vehicles Legends of Chima (Laval, Cragger, Eris, Gorzan) Attacks: sword attack, plus Eris gets limited flight Special: Chi mode (the character uses Chi and becomes super powered for a limited time) (Ultra) Agents Attack: shoot guns, throw explosives Special: Enter helicopter and snipe enemies for a limited time. So, the Agents would basically be Solid Snake. Atlantis Attack: shoot harpoons Special: Use the portal keys to open a portal that sucks in enemies in the vicinity and damages them (like Kirby) Power Miners Attack: saw/drill attack, throw dynamite Special: Summon large drill vehicle Bionicle Toa Attack: weapon attack, elemental attack Special: Use a special mask that gives them extra power Johnny Thunder Attack: shoot pistols Special: Put enemies in the vicinity under the Mummie's Curse Emmett Attack: jackhammer attack Special: Summon Construct-o-Mech Wyldstyle Attack: martial arts Special: Build the Super Cycle and run enemies over with it Benny Attack: space-age laser gun Special: Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP Attack! Good Cop/Bad Cop Attack: laser gun Special: Hit enemies with a chair Unikitty Attack: kick, dash Special: Go into Berserker-kitty mode for a limited time Those are just some ideas, and they don't even include any bad guys or ever-green themes like CIty, Space, or Castle. It would be hilarious if it included Friends as well! And if it included licensed themes, the possibilities would be endless!
  2. I said exclusive character. Again, I was comparing it to the Kwik-E Mart, the last D2C set based on a CMF line, where Snake was the only character out of 6 that hadn't appeared in the CMF at all. No, as it has been pointed out many times in this thread, it's based on the theme park where Tink is portrayed by a regular sized human actor and carries a wand. Even if this was supposed to be the real Tink, why would you want her to have short legs? She's a fairy with the body proportions of a grown woman, not a dwarf. And it's not like being slightly shorter would make her size movie-accurate. Personally, I think she looks about as good as can be expected.
  3. Oh My Disney! It's beautiful! So many details and all those references to the movies inside! It's everything I hoped it would be! Of course it would have been nice to get some princesses to populate it with, especially Cinderella herself, but like with the Kwik-E Mart it's good that they limited themselves to only one exclusive character so that those who can't afford it (which is most people) wont miss out on much. And considering it's based on the parks, Tink was the best choice I think. 4080 pieces for $350 is a great deal! Can't wait to get it! Does anyone know if this will be shown at SDCC?
  4. You're asking this in a Pixar fan thread? But seriously, don't watch ID4.2: Regurgitance. It's inferior to the original in almost every way whereas the other two sequels you mentioned are about as good as their originals. Conjuring 2 and FD are two very different movies though, so it depends on what mood you're in. You'll have to decide whether you want to laugh/cry or poop your pants.
  5. My thoughts on FD exactly. I can recommend checking out Brave. It's not their best, but it's definitely better than at least the last 4 in your list.
  6. There's already a wishlist thread here: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=115286 But if we're trying to make educated guesses, I'd say there is a chance that they might want to add on to the character sets from the first wave by adding: Goofy Pluto? Aurora Mad Hatter Jasmine Jafar Lilo Woody Frozone or one of the other Incredibles However, aside from Goofy, I think this is unlikely. They will probably focus on other movies. And if they follow the formula of the first series, they will sample characters from each part of Disney history - some from the classics, some from the renaissance, and some from the modern era. By the way, you might want to change that Dagobert to Scrooge McDuck so that non-Europeans know who you're talking about. He is definitely on top of my wishlist though and I'm holding out hope that they will release him as a tie-in with the upcoming DuckTales reboot!
  7. I see what you're saying, but I don't think movies need to be impactful to be nostalgic. Anything can be nostalgic as long as you enjoyed it a long time ago. I'm sure I will be nostalgic about Inside Out a decade or two from now because it's something I enjoyed in this part of my life. Although it is probably true that things from your childhood are more nostalgic than anything you experience in your adult life. Yeah, they're all round and glowy. Come to think of it, nostalgia would be an interesting concept to explore in an Inside Out sequel...
  8. Sorry, but it looks like that's a no-go for an Inside Out sequel, at least for now. You'll have to wait a while for more pixar sequels Then again, it took 13 years for Nemo to get a sequel, so who knows, maybe in another 13 years we'll see Riley and her emotions again. However, I for one am glad that they will focus on original films after this run of sequels!
  9. Yup, although I tried to limit myself to one game. I finally bought Arkham Knight for PC and I'm happy to report that almost all the bugs seem to have been worked out! I'm about halfway through the game and it only crashed once after I died during one level in the beginning (can't remember which one), but since it saved before the crash, it was no biggie. Highly recommended game! Origin also has a sale now, so I finally got the Mass Effect trilogy which I hadn't played yet. Shocker, I know. I kinda wanted to get the Star Wars Battlefront season pass, but even on sale it's too expensive for something that should've been included in the main game to begin with.
  10. Wow, second place in both categories? It's the space pirates contest all over again! Thanks for all the votes everyone and congrats to the other winners! This contest was a lot of fun to build for and to see all the other entries!
  11. Jackie Chan as Sensei Wu? I'm very much OK with that! Although I feel like he would have been better as Zane. Also, if this is true, they better have Kai explain the backstory of the ninja. Civilian: So Kai, how did you become a ninja? Kai: So I was at my blacksmith shop making weapons, right, and I was talking to my sister Nya and she was tellin' me about this lightning guy Jay she went out with last night, so this lightning guy was saying to this old sensei guy: "Yo, check out the girl I'm with! She's fine right?" And the old guy goes: "Yeah, crazy stupid fine!" And the old guy tells Jay that he met with this Garmadon kid who is the son of this evil four-armed dude and the kid says: "Yo, I'm looking for this dude who no one's seen, who's flashin' this fresh attack, who's got like ninja moves, to take down my dad, right. Who you got?" And the sensei is like: "Well, we got all kinds of ninja nowadays. We got a ninja who controls ice, we got a ninja who controls rocks, we got a ninja who controls lighting. You gotta be more specific." And the kid's like: "I need a ninja who controls fire." And I'm like: "Damn!" So I ask my sister to tell the lighting dude to tell the old guy to tell the kid that she and I were tight." Civilian: And what did he say? Kai: ... He said YES!
  12. This is only one of many meta jokes they could make!
  13. Just came back from seeing Finding Dory. It was great! Perhaps not as good as the original, but for a sequel it was very good. Not quite Toy Story sequel levels of good, but definitely better than The Good Dinosaur. I loved Hank the Octopus and the seals, and the rendering and animation were gorgeous! And as expected, Piper was amazing too! As long as Pixar makes their sequels with such quality, I'm ok with them. I'd say definitely check it out and make sure to stay after the credits!
  14. Yeah, my tags seem to come and go as they please. I have been noticing that for a while. As you said, it's probably some kind of server issue. If somebody could fix it or at least explain what's going on there as well, it would be much appreciate it.
  15. Hi. I have been having problems with members not being able to download attachments in my posts. The LXF files in my A-Maze-ing Contest entries to be precise. Here is one example. When I upload them, they work fine for a few days, then they randomly don't work anymore and instead redirect to a page that reads "Oops! Something went wrong! We could not find the attachment you were attempting to view." If I delete and reupload the attachment, it works fine for a few days, then stops working again. Does anyone have an idea what's going on?
  16. Again?? How does this keep happening? I fixed it again, so download it quick before the link breaks again!
  17. The things that I want most have already been mentioned: Disney properties such as classic Disney/Pixar films, Marvel, and Star Wars, as well as Nickelodeon shows such as TMNT and Avatar. But here are some that I don't think have been mentioned yet: Futurama level pack Includes Fry, Planet Express ship, and a brick-built Bender. Seems like a logical next step after the Simpsons. Voltron fun pack (based on the Netflix series) Includes either a minifig Voltron or one of the paladins with a brick-built Voltron. Samurai Jack fun pack Includes Jack and one of Aku's robot minions. With the series getting revived later this year, this could maybe actually happen. LEGO Racers Rocket Racer and his car. Ideally, this would go along with a new Racing mode as I've suggested here. T2: Judgement Day fun pack T-800 with shotgun and motorcycle Alien level pack Ripley, Xenomorph, and power loader. Predator fun pack The predator with spaceship The Matrix level pack Neo, the Nebuchadnezzar, and a sentinel MIB team pack Jay and Kay with the MIB car and an alien ship. Robocop fun pack Robocop and ED-209 Judge Dredd Dredd with motorcycle Mad Max fun pack Max and his Interceptor Also, considering we're getting Sonic, I'd love to see more videogame icons join him such as Mario, Lara Croft, or Crash Bandicoot (I know Crash is unlikely since he is gonna be in Skylanders). And I know this will never happen, but... Rick & Morty fun pack Rick with portal gun and flying car. Considering all the inter-dimensional adventures he goes on, this game would be a perfect fit for him.
  18. I would love a new Lego Racers! But Lego Dimensions is too similar in concept for that to happen any time soon. As others have suggested, the best we can hope for is for them to release a new "Racing" mode for Dimensions like the upcoming Battle Arenas where you pick your driver and your vehicle and drive around a track based on one of the dimensions/themes against a group of other racers, either local players or AI. Maybe they could disable the weapons on the vehicles and make it so that they can only be activated by driving through power-ups like in the old games. You are correct, it was called Lego Fusion: Create and Race and was exclusively for tablets. It had a good concept, but sadly I think it was too limited to be popular. How so? Every TT game in recent years has included races as side quests in open worlds, so adapting that into a full-fledged game doesn't seem that farfetched to me.
  19. I agree with Aanchir and Forresto. I think Baldwin did a great job taking over for him, so I wouldn't be surprised if they get him to do it. Yeah, you can really tell it's the same studio as the animation is just as fluid and awesome! Definitely check it out! Samurai Jack (along with A:TLA, the DCAU and Disney Afternoon shows) is one of the few animated series that I own all the DVDs of as it is one of the best cartoons of all time. And I don't know any service that has the show at the moment, so yes, I'd say definitely get the DVDs.
  20. OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG! Looks like the new Samurai Jack will be a whole lot grittier! I love it! Here's some more concept art: Is that Jack? Doesn't really look like him, but he's in the teaser trailer and it would be neat to see Jack wear samurai armor. Not sure how I feel about that helmet... I'm so excited for this! I really wish we could get more than just 10 episodes. Hopefully this will be better than other recent reboots on Cartoon Network. Powerpuff Girls is actually not as bad as many say it is in my opinion. Of course it's not as good as the original seeing as it is clearly just a cheap cash grab, but at least it's not TTG. By the way, has anyone watched Voltron: Legendary Defender? I'm only a few episodes in and I'm already loving it! Now this is how you reboot a cheesy show from the 80's and make it awesome! Michael Bay, take notes!!
  21. To be fair, Windows 94 was still better than Windows 8 and 10 combined. As Ceroknight pointed out, you clearly didn't do a lot of research on the film before you started this topic (which I guess proves your disinterest in it) as most of your questions can be answered with a quick google search. They explain away Will Smith's absence by saying his character died while testing one of those new alien technology fighters or some rubbish like that. And the jump in technology is not that far fetched considering that in 20 years we have gone from those clunky dial up computers to everyone carrying a tiny super computer with an HD camera in their pocket and that in the movie's universe humanity had alien technology that they could reverse engineer. That said, of course this is a very forced sequel, so you will have to stretch your suspension of disbelief a bit, but as you said yourself, the first one didn't exactly make a lot of sense either. So are you overthinking this? Yes. Is it a shameless nostalgia cash grab? Absolutely. Why should you go see it? Haven't you seen the trailers? The mothership is bigger this time!!!!!!! *oh2* (It worked for Star Wars, didn't it?) But seriously, if you could see past the plot holes and not-so-subtle propaganda of the first one and enjoy it for the mindless VFX spectacle that it was, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to do the same with the sequel. At least that's my reasoning for why I will probably go see it, even though it will be harder to sit through without the charisma of 90's Will Smith carrying the film.
  22. Cool, thanks! Now we just need a physicist to figure out for us how long it would take for gravity to bring the ball from the top to the bottom floor to calculate the complete cycle. Thank you! Ugh, this is so annoying. Why did all my download links stop working? Anyway, it should be fixed now.
  23. I'm pretty sure generally the books are usually considered to be better than the movie. While I love both the movies and books of Harry Potter, Hobbit, Tintin, etc., the books are usually able to include more detail than a movie which needs to tell its story visually in under 3 hours ever could. However, there are exceptions of course. I haven't read Jurassic Park, but considering no one ever really talks about the book while the movie is a timeless classic, I'll have to assume that the movie is better.
  24. Fixed.
