I'm loving all of these, especially Black Widow. She's so adorable! Can't wait to get my hands on these and see what the Beauty and the Beast look like! Keep in mind that SDCC exclusives are always overpriced because of their rarity. Even considering the license, they cost about twice as much as they should have, so I can't see them charging more than $15 for each of these, hopefully less. The SDCC ones were printed, so here's hoping they will continue that trend with these. They said no such thing. The boxes clearly said SDCC Exclusive on them, so you really have no reason to be angry at them. To be fair, about half of the SDCC ones didn't have accessories either. Although I do agree that the repulsors on Iron Man were a nice touch on the SDCC one, so it's disappointing that this one doesn't have them.

I just finished watching Part 1 of DreamWorks Animation's Trollhunters on Netflix and I have to say I love it! It has so much heart, action, and great animation for a kids show! While the story is the usual hero's journey, it is told very well and there is not a single filler episode. It reminded me a lot of other "Chosen One" stories that I love like Harry Potter or A:TLA and I would have expected no less from Guillermo del Toro. All the characters are very likable, even the sidekick who is yet another "fat kid" stereotype which Dreamworks has been overusing. The look of the trolls and the fantasy environments is great, although perhaps not quite as creative as in Del Toro's other works. The humor can get a bit childish, but sometimes it really works. With this and Voltron: Legendary Defender, Dreamworks has been knocking it out of the park with their Netflix shows. I can't wait for Part 2 and highly recommended you check it out! And speaking of Voltron... Season 2 is coming in less than 2 weeks!!

Making it look good and like a real set is what I was going for, and the Temple of Doom set was actually given as an example for how this set should look (along with the Toy Story Trash Compactor escape which I borrowed a few parts from for this). It's not custom. It's not even C-3PO actually. It's the TC-14 promo fig. Custom parts were not allowed in the contest.

Hm, your experience with the Malevolence sounds like it is not so much to be attributed to the Mandela effect as it is to just your opinion/awareness of the set, but interesting story(s) nevertheless. I very rarely bricklink parts and I'm pretty sure that's not one of them. However, I did get a bunch of second hand Lego from friends, so I guess there is a chance it could have been among them. I did check all the unsorted bins I could think of, but it's possible that I missed it. Perhaps in time it will show up somewhere...

The "official" way to watch it is over the Disney XD website/app, although I'm sure there are many cartoon pirating sites out there that will have it as well. And yes, the first episode is on YouTube. Honestly, it's not a bad show, but I'm very underwhelmed by it. The story, characters, and jokes are just not as good as those in Phineas and Ferb (Diogee is certainly no Perry), and considering this is starring Weird Al I was hoping to get a lot more songs from him in this show. Moana was pretty good. The songs were indeed catchy and the animation beautiful as always. But I felt that the story was a bit lacking as it consisted of too many Disney tropes and cliches, especially after Disney's latest films have been doing such a great job deconstructing those tropes. And yes, I think we all were hearing "Mata Nui" throughout the film. I will have to make a funny out of this if I ever get a Moana set. By the way, your signature is very distracting and does not follow the site guidelines. You might want to fix that. Yes, that would be cool. It seems like a perfect fit for Lego with its split-apart function and other play features, but I don't think it's going to happen.

Yup, PIXAR sure has come a long way since Toy Story. Ever since they upgraded their rendering engine, their movies have been looking fantastic. I am also excited to see the jump in visual quality in the other sequels!

Hi everyone! Some stories have been making the rounds again lately about the confusion over the Bernstain Bears and the Sinbad genie movie "Shazaam" that are attributed to the "Mandela Effect" which is a phenomenon where a number of people remember something that never happened, leading to many outlandish theories. So I was wondering if there are any such stories in the Lego community? I actually had a similar experience recently where I could've sworn I owned a certain part, but when I went to look for it in my collection for a MOC I was working on, I couldn't find it or remember where it could possibly be. This train track piece to be exact. According to bricklink, it only appears in 14 sets, none of which I ever owned to my knowledge. I seem to remember details about the part and even how it felt in my hand, and yet it doesn't look like it was ever in my possession. Maybe I saw it at a friend's house or at the Lego Store? Who knows. So have you experienced anything like this? Are others having issues with faulty Lego memory or am I just going crazy? Share your stories! It would be fascinating if we could uncover an instance of the Mandela Effect that relates to Lego in some way.

I also hope the prizes are revealed soon. I'm actually waiting to open a set I got for Christmas to see if I won the minifigs from that set so I don't end up with multiples. The rules are clearly stated on the (now strangely empty) calendar. Like every year, you are supposed to send your address to him ASAP, so I'd say send it now. This is my entry to the Brickset 2016 Star Wars competition where you had to design a set based on a specific scene that hasn't been represented yet. Anakin, Padme, R2-D2 and C-3PO have infiltrated the Separatist droid foundry on Geonosis and are ambushed by the Geonosians! Pull the pins to shut the door and drop the heroes onto the conveyor belt. Turn the wheel to move the conveyor belts and help them escape through the assembly line! Watch out for swinging robot arms, stomping presses, and chopping blades! Use the swiveling robot arm to assemble the droids. C-3PO has lost his head! Attach R2-D2's rocket boosters and turn the knob on the tower to have him fly to the rescue! Rearrange the assembly modules to create your own foundry layout. Includes Anakin Skywalker, Padme, R2-D2, C-3PO, one Geonosian with stud shooter, and 4 battle droids. Well... It's got Lego in it, so the movie has to be good right? Seriously though, this looks fun. Not as good as the Sam Raimi films, but definitely better than the Not-So-Amazing Spider-Man. I'm loving the animated eyes. I'm actually pretty excited for the Bank robbery set now that we know that the robbers will have Avengers masks. Also, I hope they didn't have to shoot multiple takes of that Death Star scene. I'd hate to be the guy who had to put that back together. (What am I saying?! Of course I would LOVE to build a Lego Death Star on the set of a Spider-Man movie!!)

Seriously? You're bad-mouthing The Force Awakens, but you praise a movie series that is literally nothing but explosions, boobs, and robots punching each other over and over and over again which doesn't respect the source material at all? I mean, I know TFA wasn't the most original movie, but it sure was a better movie than all the TF movies combined. That said, I do enjoy the TF movies occasionally. They're the so-bad-its-good kind of movies for me. Sometimes I just feel like turning off my brain and watch stuff blow up for a few hours. The first one was kinda good, but the sequels just kept getting worse and worse, and this one looks no different for me.

Interesting question. It's hard to imagine a Lego movie that could match the originality and widespread appeal of The Lego Movie. The Lego Batman Movie works because he's Batman and he has a rich history to draw inspiration from. One thing that would be great would be a Lego TMNT movie if they can get the license back from Megabloks. They have a rich history to draw inspiration from too and would make for a fun movie (certainly a better one than the Michael Bay ones). I would also love a Lego Avatar: The Last Airbender movie, mostly just to get more sets and to get a good Avatar movie, but that's obviously not gonna happen. That could work. And then have a Lego Batman V Lego Superman Movie! Or maybe it could be a buddy-cop movie where he is forced to team up with Green Lantern to save the day. I would love that too, but yeah, sadly it's unlikely. A Lego Harry Potter movie would be great too and much more likely (especially with WB trying to milk that franchise as much as they can). The problem is: What would a Lego Harry Potter movie or Lego Star Wars movie even be about? A simple parody of the movies would be unoriginal and has already been done in the video games and TV specials, and I can't think of any other story they could do. Then again, maybe that could be the message of the movie? To not let your creativity be limited by the source material and that you can create any HP/SW story you want? Sign me up too! As TLM made abundantly clear, any of the supporting characters were actually much more interesting than Emmet since they are so unique and flawed, so some movies exploring the origins of these characters could be interesting. Maybe there is a tragic backstory that explains why Unikitty is so emotionally unbalanced or why Benny is so obsessed with spaceships and old technology. And yes, making more shorts starring some other Lego themes is a great idea! YES to all of this! I loved the audiobook that came packaged with some 1st wave sets in Germany, so a Lego Adventurers Movie would be great, but considering how old that theme is, not very likely. And yes, I'm hoping the Billion Brick Race is gonna be a Whacky Racers type movie with lots of fun crazy vehicles too! Isn't that kind of what The Lego Movie was? It even starred Batman and Wyldstyle.

Sorry, I didn't mean to mini-mod. Don't let me tell you what to post. If you want to post your customs, go right ahead. I was simply expressing my opinion that a picture of a single minifig that isn't even official Lego doesn't really count as a "Lego Superheroes collection" in my eyes. But then again, I'm a purist, so what do I know.

Nice collections everyone! However, I feel like this thread has gotten off-topic as it has turned into Sebiron and Robianco's customs thread. If guys want to show off your customs that's fine, but I feel that they would be more at home in the Minifig Customization forum. Just my humble opinion. That said, here is my Marvel collection. MCU on the top shelf, Animated Universe on the bottom shelf. I also have a DC display, but it's a WIP and will probably be expanded greatly with the release of the Lego Batman Movie sets.
