  1. I like the set and the minifigure! And the play feature is very nice. One of my favorite entries so far. Looks like this plate modified and then the corresponding brick modified x2.
  2. I never understood why there are no minifigure packs (battlepacks) for all themes on shelves. Why not have a 20€ set with 2 fire fighters, 2 police officers and a doctor and some useful parts for the city theme. Why not have a battlepack with several knights of different factions and their horses and accessories? Why no pirates and imperial battlepack? Space anyone? It should be a no brainer! People could populate their cities and mocs with these minifigures and would buy them in masses. In my opinion this is because Lego do not want us to get minifigures that cheap. It's simple as that for me. Yes, you can buy some of the parts online and put them together but how many regular customers do this? If you want city minifgures the magazines are a good source but they are only available in Europe. And while i buy most, but not all, issues of the Star Wars magazine, the minifigure selection is pretty boring. So with the magazines it is possible to sell seperate minifigures, or sometimes a pack with two. And there is BAM in stores but for example when i was in a store i never saw a knight. I also never found the falconer from the CMF. Some people must hord them But why there are no minifigure packs on shelves? I don't get it. I really do not get it. I once read the argument that Lego does not want people to buy them and populate their sets from other companies that come without figures at all. Whatever the reason is, Lego does not want us to get minfigures this way.
  3. It's a solid set and there are some nice ideas and details but somehow it lacks the magic or spirit for me. But it is not a set for me anyway since i am not at Bricklink and don't know how the BDP works. Generally i am not a fan of those programs. I want to go into a store and pick up a set from the shelf
  4. Ominous Isle will be able for pre-order on 6th June at 8am PT and cost US $239.99 /AU $339.99. More photos and details in the Blog Post. ------------------------------------- Results have just been released and Omnius Isle by jazlecraz has been selected amongst 4 other sets to start into crowdfunding in June 2024 for BDP series 2. The pirate island consists of 2773 parts: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-2/734/Ominous-Isle
  5. I like that set! Nice usage of the beard for candle wax drips.
  6. Nice one! I really like that idea of a small shipwreck outpost. If only the parts limit would be higher so there could be a real base How does it look with a 6x8 plate that covers the build only?
  7. Hehe yes, reminds me of those AI pirates by stable diffusion
  8. How can you make such assumptions? So if everyone has the same number of votes and votes for the entries he/she likes the most it is unfair? Why is this contest so messy and everything has to be discussed in detail? No fun.
  9. One officer and two soldiers with accessories, a canoe and a palm tree! I'd buy such a set This is the type of set i would like to see on shelfs. A small army builder with some useful minifigure utensils, weapons, a rowing boat or canoe and some useful parts.
  10. Don't divide the forum members into different groups. Everyone should have the same number of votes. I think 3 votes is the best number
  11. Very nice imperial base. The combination of yellow and white always works very well I like that you included the classic wall panels but also used a lot of modern techniques. I love that spiral staircase that leads down to the dock! And there is some nice rockwork on the small island. The 1x2 water tiles looks too regular to me. I'd break the formation up by throwing in some 1x1 trans light blue plates and also place the tiles more random.
  12. Great that you finaly signed up! Welcome to the forum!
  13. Great moc! Love the boat. Gives me some African Queen vibes! That pyramide looks wonderful, love the colors. The warrior's blowgun is such a good idea.
  14. 2 = 1 point 5 = 1 point 6 = 1 point
  15. 8 = 1 point 10 = 1 point 13 = 1 point
  16. Flamboyant entry! And quite some enhanced mechanism. Very clever!
  17. Somehow i missed this entry. Very nice mountain temple! The balcony is wonderful and i also like the roof with the golden decorations. And of course that giant horn. The colorful prayer flags add some nice colors. Are they made from paper? It works really well.
  18. Very dynamic scene and a nice ship! Seems some of the minifigs enjoy the ride and some not so much...
  19. Those ice cream drips look great!
  20. I really like these battlepack ideas! Especially the Tatooine ones
  21. You are welcome Please feel free to use it wherever you want. I cut out your moc from the first picture and pasted it into the original. Then i used the Photoshop clone stamp tool to copy the background and cover up the areas needed (where the original set was placed). I feel like i have seen such edits a hundred times?!
  22. This is really the type of set i wish Lego would be releasing. Just a small set you can pick up without much thinking, expanding your minifigure collection and some useful accessories and parts for mocs. Here is your moc @Jack Sassy added to the classic artwork of the set:
