[CONTEST] Return of the Classic Pirates - Vote Counting
Yperio_Bricks replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
To avoid this confusion i suggested to add the builders name to the votes. But yeah, in German we have a saying "Doppelt hält besser" meaning "Two works better" -
The interior looks amazing! So many great details everywhere. I like those big ceramic bottles.

I am happy for the lovers and happy for Sholmes and Sonwat, who solved the case. But the most happy of us is surely the Marquis who got a banana And nice flying hat scene! -

Very nice ship! I really like the cabin at the stern and the golden details and ornaments. And there is a nice crew I wonder how the ship would look if the tan parts at the side would also be one of the other colors, brown or dark red. -
That monkey on the raft! Thanks for sharing the pictures (also at Bricksafe)

Nice Can't wait to see the whole display!

Most impressive Hope the bluecoats can keep up with this I don't know if this has been asked before, but do you guys plan to display ships in the collab layout as well?

[CONTEST] Return of the Classic Pirates - Vote Counting
Yperio_Bricks replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Or it was a public library computer in town, where more than one afol interested in this contest created an account to vote not knowing others used the very same computer to vote before /s So these adult people, i assume they are adults, are so very interested in pirates stuff, would create an account, vote and then we will never see them again? How does that help anyone? It only causes bad blood as you can see. Even if something is not against the rules, one should know by common sense that this is not ok. Now rules have to be altered for the future, maybe a jury has to be installed and at the end everyone will be pissed. Read the newsblog comment sections when again and again Taylor Swift related moc ideas are voted into review by an fan army. So much bad blood. -

I didn't want to advocate for or against a jury. I should have expressed myself better Just that fun idea crossed my mind that even the voting process can be fun and a spectacle -

Thanks a lot! Hehe yes, Mulan is there and two Star Wars guys I checked the Ninjago minfigure parts at PAB online but the vast majority of them is just too wild and colorful for a historic setting. Maybe i will order some and see how it works. Thank ye -

Every member of the jury then could award points like a Formula 1 GP spectacle Today we are in Belgium for the GP of Spa where 10,6,4,3,2,1 points will be awarded. Moc X still in the lead but the undulating terrain makes it hard for the imperial ship to gain ground on its competitors -

This is a discussion forum and users that only register to vote and then are never seen again are the most useless thing on earth -
Very nice figures. I really like the hat and wig/hair combo! Although the small gap on the sides drives irks me

A small build showing the work of coalition spies in the lands of the Lotus Empire. -
Deep in the lands of the Lotus, somwehere in an small rural town (which shall be not named here), coalition spies and agents are gathering vital informations about the plans of the Lotus forces for the ongoing war. The coalition's offensive came to an halt recently and there were only small skirmishes reported to commence in the jungle here and there. Military analysts are unsure what to make of the latest developments and news from the frontlines. Will the war freeze and go on for years on a low level? Will the Lotus Empire use the chance and bring in more troops? Has the coalition the power and panache to overcome the Lotii? And what is going on at sea? Hopefully the fog of war will soon lift and reveal the grand plan! Just a small free build here. I wanted to try a east asian style building when i got one of those 1x2 plates with pin hole into my hands that are used for the roofs in this moc.
