The upper body can rotate though. And it looks like 360° rotation. And it is interesting to see how they have designed the face of that Stargate actresses minifigure design. Anyway, as i wrote, i hope they bring battlepacks and that forces Lego to bring battlepacks. So from bluecoat soldier marked as IP to a full battlepack in few months One can dream, no?!

[ENTRY] 6267 Lagoon Lock-Up/Soldiers’ Tavern Remake
Yperio_Bricks replied to Aanchir's topic in Pirate MOCs
The brickbuild sail looks quite good actually because you built it sideways and there is no exposed backside. And it fits in nicely between the booms. -

Herlock Sholmes - Second Adventure Ch9
Yperio_Bricks replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
The first picture of the flying Marquis is ingenious and should be engraved on a gold plate and send to the skies with the next satellite to show everyone out there in the universe one of the world's finest artworks! Also i had to laugh quite hard -
Just to add some of the backstory: There was a court rule in the city of Düsseldorf, Germany, last year. Lego was suing a Businessman, who runs a toy shop, imports various brands from China, and is also a youtuber over minifigures from other companies that look to similar to Lego's own minifigures. While Lego won the case, it should now be pretty clear what to avoid when producing a minifigure. So other companies now have kind of a guide with this court rule on how to produce minifigures for the markets of Europe and beyond. But we'll see how the story continues

Two more fine vignettes of yours! Your stories are so well written, i assume you must be a professor of literature by trade Manaaki is such a unique character and great minifigure, i hope to learn more of his adventures. That Lotii soldier also looks very good. Where does that torso come from? Speaker's corner also a very nice idea

With all these fine ships someone has to smoke a cigar near the Corrie shipyards

So Bluebrixx just announced their own minifigure and while personally i am a Lego purist (yet), i'd like to see some more competion on the market which can only be good for the customers. BB already mentioned they need to make some minifigures for their hugh Castle Blaustein and my guess is, they are also going to make some pirates and soldiers for the their Governor's Island et al. So hopefully there will be some battlepacks out there next year and sooner or later Lego will be forced to counter with their own pirates and soldiers battlepacks. Yeah, i know Lego will never do this and it's just wishfull thinking

[ENTRY] 6267 Lagoon Lock-Up/Soldiers’ Tavern Remake
Yperio_Bricks replied to Aanchir's topic in Pirate MOCs
This is fantastic Finally we get a updated Lagoon Lock-Up for the contest! I love that you added more space to the front docks so there is room for a table and the secret hiding place. The iconic yellow front with the red and blue canopy really pops. There is a nice interiour and a great minifig selection. That pirate with the red scarf really looks like he will be the hero of the story. I am not so much a fan of brickbuild sail, but you nailed it. I am so enthusiastic now haha. I'll have to vote for this -

Unpopular Opinions about LEGO
Yperio_Bricks replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Star Wars is one big thing. To me a lot of the magic comes from that one galaxy with its hundreds of suns, planets and moons, with thousands of characters and a vast lore where everything is interwoven. -
Unpopular Opinions about LEGO
Yperio_Bricks replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I am sure even before LEGO was around children pretended to be "someone" when playing, be it a general or military hero from the latest war, Napoleon or Achilleus, or the world's strongest man they saw in the circus. That's actually an very interesting topic me thinks. -

Unpopular Opinions about LEGO
Yperio_Bricks replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You can still do that. Just kitbash/figbarf your minifigures and create unique characters within the SW universe. I always do that for my mocs. Why should kids choose made-up noname superheroes when they can be one of the avangers or batman? Did kids ever do that? When i was a kid, playing football, whe choose Bebeto or Romario, nowadays kids choose Messi or Ronaldo. Why would i want to be a random king when i can be the mighty Richard the Lionheart of which i learned from some old movie. -

Same for me. Only 9 pictures. Somehow it was ever-changing in the recent years and sometimes i would see 9 pictures and sometimes i would see the endless stream of pictures I have no account and just check Insta with pc/browser. -
