  1. Welcome to this sub-forum, where the RPG Brethren of the Brick Seas is played @Amedeo. We'd love to have you on board! Before you start posting you should join one of the factions first. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I will link a thread where you'll find all relevant information for starters: The house looks great, from the outside and also the interior! And it's nice to see the fur traders and weavers at work. I also love that scene of the soldier falling off the horse. Poor guy And the baseplate is quite interesting! I've never seen it before. That road section works well with the cart.
  2. This is easily the best story i read in BotBS so far (Since i joined). So, so good! I also really like the scene of all those officers, nobles, the priest and the barber-surgeon standing around the bed of the poor soul. RIP Hercule.
  3. Great post and inspiring story! I also grew up with the late 80s and 90s Lego and when i left my dark ages in 2018/2019 i was stunned because there is so much to discover and experience today! Welcome to the forum @JesseNight
  4. Enjoy the magazines! I always wonder why there's nothing like that in North America?!? Like you say, you can find them everywhere here at gas stations, supermarkets, kiosks...
  5. Shades of white i have noticed right from the start (when i left my dark ages) but variations of tan i only noticed recently. It looked like one of the tans had some slight olive shade.
  6. This is such a lovely build! I really like the hut and the statue with the offerings. Great idea and technique for the crap trap/cage.
  7. I've never been to Disneyland and probably never will , so i can not compare your layout to the real world ride but holy moly, the whole layout is so impressive! I love the fort and town One of the best forts i've seen! And i also love all those little scenes you build like the pirates in the jail.
  8. Wonderful build! Love the different market stalls and the house. Great idea with the floors sliding out!
  9. I discovered the exact same issue lately with tan wedge plates/plates. It was almost like there were two types of tan color.
  10. Yeah, this is too good to be a set!
  11. Where can i buy that ship?! If Lego would produce a ship like this as the next Pirates set, many people would be very happy!
  12. Wonderful moc! There are many great details like the crane and guns, the construction site or the admiral's office. My highlighte is the cave and how you shaped it!
  13. Speaking as a customer: Imagine the minifig would not be protected. We would have a never ending flow of history themed minifigs by Lego's competitors. Would be heaven on earth
  14. So good I also love your other works like the layout with the ruined building and the rusted engine! The cat be like "This train can transport chicken, no?"
  15. Today i bought the Fighter Plane Chase and now i have all 3 sets. In the set there was an extra whip which will join the extra hat/hair combo from the tomb set
  16. Better late than never Great microscale ship under full sails! And i love the perspective!
  17. Hidden Side had some very good sets though! The app, marketing and box art on the other hand....
  18. Haha yeah, some sets look like torture. I wonder how many people actually finished the Eifel Tower and sets like that. And now comes Chewie
  19. Great job! Many thanks
  20. In (most of?) the pictures of the 42126 Ford Raptor technic set they left out the handle on the roof because they knew it looks ugly. And on the box the handle is only shown in the constuction drawing on the back but in none of the pictures. No Photoshop here but they show their own product without all parts to make it look better
  21. Surely in the bank's vault are some deposit boxes full of precious tulip certificates
  22. 1. Police Station 2. Downtown Diner 3. Detective's Office
  23. I love that Huyang minifig. One of my most favorite Lego SW figs!
  24. Yep, i'm ready for that CMF too. I found a store that sells minifigures unboxed so one can pick the desired figs without paying for unwanted ones. It's 1.5 hour train ride and then subway (or walk 30min) but for some nice historic minifigs i'll travel that far
