[OL-FB] Foreign Merchants' District
Yperio_Bricks replied to Keymonus's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I am from Lower Saxony and can relate to everything you wrote Actually we had also blackcoat hussars and infantry where i live, called Black Brunswickers (Schwarze Schar), who also wore the skull and bones badge. You may look them up at wikipedia. Now that i see their uniform again i want some Lego blackcoats- 34 replies

I guess the result of the poll speaks for itself I wonder what would happen if they would re-release POBB now. Would both sets on the shelves at the same time boost or diminish sales of each other?

And i thought the 1941 battle of Brody (also named Battle of Dubno or Battle of Rovne) was the biggest tank battle in history

Some crazy techniques you use there - for a great result!

Oh, i like that! Very nice building! I like that you added that little garden and fence. Something you see in every town but is missing in the official sets. Do you have any pictures from the building next to other modulars (from the LUG shows you mentioned)?

MOC series (or a theme) - Offroad adventure trucks, trailers and home base
Yperio_Bricks replied to P6tu's topic in LEGO Town
Impressive headquarters! Your world is really comming together Is that yellow structure at the roof of the rightmost garage a moveable crane? -
Some very nice vehicles! My favorite is the refrigerated Centra truck. The brickbuild letters look great and the colors really match the original (i just watched some pictures ) and it is always nice to see some dark turquoise, my favorite Lego color. I also like the Mini and ambulance!

*Your entry has earned 25 XP (S:8, T:9, A:8) The Dagro Episode: Part I After an uneventful flight and a secret landing far from the next settlement, Rox and his team prepared an old imperial bunker on Dagro as temporary headquarters and set up their equipment. The team wanted to keep a low profile and the long abandoned facility proved to be an exellent hideout and basis for operations on the planet. Something strange was going on on this Mid Rim agriworld. Prior to Rox' journey to Dagro, alarming reports had been transmitted to the New Republic Security Bureau, saying that a Dark Lord of the Sith has been sighted on the planet. Although these reports surely must have been false or the true nature of the reports got lost in translation, an investigation of the rumors is about to commence...

LIGHT SIDE TEAM: Introduction
Yperio_Bricks replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Working for the Rebel Alliance Intelligence Service, Juroden Rox, born on Tyne's Horky, was never a prominent figure of the rebellion. As a member of Strike Team Misericorde he took part in missions all across the Galaxy. Rising from the ranks he became a General of the rebellion in the late stages of the Galactic Civil War. Rox now got ordered to take command of the Light Side Forces in this time of turmoil and unrest in the Galaxy. -

[MOC] Majisto and the league of extraordinary mages
Yperio_Bricks replied to the Inventor's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Oh wow, what a great band of magicians and magical creatures You really bring all those parts and minifigs from different themes together in a wonderful figbarf! So many highlights but i like the staff that Eilrys is carrying the most, with Dragos and Lizandra being my favorite minifigures! -
Yeah, it's a tough decision! I went with Queen Anne's Revenge. The stern is high like a mountain but overall its a great set and i like the consistent color scheme. The red sails look good too, although i would like to see the ship with plain sailcloth. Oh, and it has a great minifig selection! That's a good one too! The 6271 is the only ship we had as kids (as far as i remember). I still remember the striking sails. I think my brother got it for birthday or Christmas.

I must say, i expected Barracuda to be ahead of Eldorado. By a smaller margin though. But i am really happy to see so many votes Next poll will start tomorrow! While Eldorado is faithful to the original, Barracuda is a original itself! One thing that was always irking me about Eldorado, even as a kid, are the holes in the walls. Especially at the gun emplacement. They made a good job though, disguising the other holes as embrasures in the remake.

You mean cryo-sleep? Lego should just drop the info. Damn marketing
-
Until i committed the crime against the minifig's hair, which you can see in the aforementioned thread i was a purist too. But the result looks great and i used hair pieces that i had multiples of (Ron's and Luke's ).

A slightly overwhelmed but enthusiatic Hello!
Yperio_Bricks replied to SerendipBrick's topic in Hello! My name is...
Great to have you aboard @SerendipBrick Welcome to the forum! -
For me the most annoying thing is not that we get barely any sets, but that we never know anything about the future. If only Lego could just say that there will be, for example, a big set comming in spring 2025, it would be a lot less frustrating.
-
Yes, that's a fitting minifig for a merchant
-
Yep, another good minifig i missed! Now with only 12 minfigs, history themed ones are few and far between.
