71046 CMF series 26: Space themed!
Yperio_Bricks replied to Megbricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Unfortunately the Space CMF series turns out exactly like i expected it to be: some kind of city-space-mishmash. Quite a bit disappointing. The alian tourist is fun though. -
[REVIEW] 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs Shin Hati's Starfighter
Yperio_Bricks replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It's a good set and the pilot, astromech and Morgan look great! The upgraded Baylan looks much better! Is it possible to for him to wear an cape under the shoulder pads? But the worst part of the set is Shin's face print. She looks so much older than in reality. -
There will be a new poll on tuesdays every two weeks!

Shooting and Non-Shooting Cannons...What you Have!?
Yperio_Bricks replied to VintageLegoEra's topic in LEGO Pirates
Hehe yes. As kids we would line up our minifigs and then try to shoot them with the cannons. The battle was won when you knocked down all "enemy" minfigs -
We need some battlepacks!

They are all wonderful! Impossible to pick a favorite minifig. I love them all! Sedri Raedh's veil looks great. I never knew such a piece exist! -
(Q10 -MERC) transfer of goods
Yperio_Bricks replied to Jody Meyer's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Nice one! I like the green ship! The cargo containers look great too. What do they transport? And i love the colors of the Hutt! Maybe you could write a line or two about what is going on. Does one party get robbed or do they negotiate? -
Great thanks! Good thing is, Hogwarts sets have always many useful parts.

Last year? Somehow i must have missed him. Have to check it out. It's a nice minifig

I'm not sold on the big foliage piece yet but it will be interesting to see it showing up in mocs. The new Filch minifig from the upcomming 76430 Owlery can be useful as pirate or civilian.

Could LEGO remake Fright Knights?

Could LEGO remake Fright Knights?
Yperio_Bricks replied to Fulcrumfan91's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
It's funny how the designers do not know that basically all history themed minfigs sell better. Like the Falcon archer, or the upcomming goat herder or bat lord. EDIT: The thing is, is a CMF series made for AFOL army builders or children? They could easily sell a Black Falcon battlepack in masses. Or a bat lord and his knights battlepack. Or a goat stable battlepack -
A stunningly beautiful ship of impressive size

Hehe yes, the Clegane brothers are familiar as well and the whole chart gives me GoT vibes anyway! Great job and a very interesting read!

There's a monkey, so it must be pirates! Wonderful pirate airship! The shaping of the hull is great and you added countless details and luckily we get some peaks into the illumintaed interior. The kitchen is my favorite, and the masts and the sawfish bridge!

[OFFICIAL] 40710 LEGOLAND Pirate Splash Battle
Yperio_Bricks replied to Yperio_Bricks's topic in LEGO Pirates
On one hand they have not enough faith in Pirates as a theme, but on the other hand they pump out pirate themed GWPs and sets like the water splash battle. So Lego must think there is enough interest in those sets and Pirates. Quite schizophrenic. -
Lego should bring back Wild West
Yperio_Bricks replied to Florida Man's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
You must be right like always. Nobody likes Western, Police, Fire Brigade, or the supermarket (that looks like a real supermarket and not like Lego's) and people only buy the sets because they are cheap. -
Lego should bring back Wild West
Yperio_Bricks replied to Florida Man's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
So i just learned that Lidl, a big German chain of discounter supermarkets, will sell Western sets under their own brand Playtive Clippys. The sets even have the Lucky Luke license. There will be 4 sets, a saloon, a sheriffs office, a bank and a stagecoach. The designs are rather simple and the minifigures are... not very beautiful, but it again shows that this empty void will be filled by Lego's competitors. And these Playtive sets can be found in thousands of supermarkets from tomorrow on (i think) and usualy sell very well. Is it too much too ask Lego to design some basic Western sets, like a saloon, a sheriff's office, a stagecoach, an a bank? Quite depressing. I guess the market is "too small" for them -

Another unique building from the merchants district and another great story! I like such details like the guard who wipes the sweat off his brow.- 4 replies
