  1. Speaking about the colors. It's hard to imagine how the final result will look, but i imagine red maybe is too bright and black maybe will dominate the other colors.
  2. *Your entry has earned 17 XP (S:5.5, T:6, A:5.5) Raiders of the Lost Art - 12.5 - Cavalry to the rescue! The location is Shag City, smugglers hive and melting pot in the swamps of the Tajkal river delta on the uncharted world of Aetwelt. Somewhere further down the Old Kaadu Corral Road in an older part of Shag City, where the houses are build into caverns that were directly carved into a giant boulder. Fighting has commenced in the Old Kaadu Corral and New Republic agents Xher and Arthemias Bolt got attacked by Imperial forces. A group of stormtroopers, led by an officer, is rushing to the scene of the fight. Imperial Officer: "The rebel scum is encircled! We'll finish them off!" Little did they know, that General Rox and the cavalry were already waiting for the imperials behind a corner. General Rox: "Hold your fire.... hold fire...." Rox visited Aetwelt to meet his spynet contacts and talk to Ward Len'ya. He and is team arrived at the right time:
  3. Thanks @n1majneb I really like the micro build in combination with the forced perspective and the frozen minifig from the last build.
  4. Please not At least the minifigs should have no yellow neckline, so the torso could be used for fleshies as well.
  5. Oh yes, that would be great!
  6. Go check out the voting system of the EB Technic contest. They are using an external site. There are 19 entries. You arrange the entries in a list with your favorite entry receiving 19 points, your second favorite receiving 18 points and so on. You least favorite entry will receive 1 point. If you are a participant, your own entry has to be the one receiving 1 point. I don't know how complicated and time-consuming it is to set up such a voting system, but it looks quite good. It's worth to take a look at the voting system and maybe it's something we might want to consider in the future. But the voting systems also has its disadvantages -> check the comments.
  7. Beautifil brewery There's a cozy bier garden where you can have beer and pretzels. The blue and white tablecloth are a nice detail. The tree is build very well with its dense foliage! Dark orange accents give the grey building some touch of color. I also like the sloped windows on the roof terrace as well as the railing. There are aslo some nice details indoors with the brewing coppers and the bar. Great moc all around!
  8. Do you all remember the video that explained how an 18th century sailing warship works? Well, there's a new video by the same YT channel that shows how a 16th century explorer's sailing ship works:
  9. Are there any news you can share with the players? Duck and away
  10. Lego is protecting the minifigure at all costs only to give us a mediocre product quite often. Like the aformentioned Eldorado Fortress soldiers and governor. And i can hear all the minifigures with a badly printed not opaque neckline cry. For me as a customer it would be better when the protection of the minifigure would expire like for most bricks and parts. Competitor companies would flood the marked with everything we wish for and more. Oh, and why do the other companies produce battlepacks for knights, pirates, orcs and stuff like that and why does Lego does not give us such battlepacks. Battlepacks for all themes should be a no brainer and on shelves all the time.
  11. I really like the comic aesthetics! Especially where it has the dotted style. I hope you'll add more to the story in the same style
  12. Nice to meet you Adam! Welcome to the forum @AdamFMX
  13. So it has been quiet about this set since the initial news dropped. When do the Black Friday sets usually get revealed? I don't remember how it was in previous years. Edit:typo
  14. Congrats to the winners and thanks everyone for participating
  15. I guess i mixed things up. It was like this in the old factions with the 8 surrounding grid sectors. Sorry for the hassle.
  16. Hmmm, i was always under the impression that it were always the 8 sectors surrounding a sector that you can build in. EDIT: Ok now i read it in the first post. Was that changed at some point? I really thought that diogonal is possible too. My bad.
  17. And they even have the stud on the back! The hare too. Also the depiction of the Ravenclauwe is very reminiscent of that one piece, 1L bar with clip or whatever it is called.
  18. Your artwork is truely outstanding @Khorne
  19. Yes, you are orange in the map. Kashyyk is in P9, that is under control of the Dark Side. If you want to challenge them and build there you would need to capture sector Q10 first, where you already have 39 points. With Q10 in your hands you would have access to the surrounding sectors.
  20. This can be created by not pushing the tiles all the way down. Keep some loose, some pressed down tightly to the underground, some pressed down only half way, some pressed down at an angle etc. Of course in a digital build (like in the picture) nothing will fall off when you move the moc and every tile will always stay in place.
  21. Thank you very much! The small gaps in the corner still irk me every time i watch the pictures Must come from the brackets i used.
