  1. The did not send it to 'someone". They sent it to a very famous person who posted the moc on his socials. The advertising effect should not be underestimated. And saying 'sorry' later is easy when you should no have copied the moc in the first place. Maybe Lego aims for the same classy and stylish appearence, but their red logo on the front of the boxes alone destroys any such effect. Colors shine on a white canvas! And while it is possible to make colors shine on a black background, Lego does not get it right with the added mirror effect and the 'ambient light' behind the build. Of course that is just my perception. I throw them boxes into the recycling container anyway
  2. But the white box much better! Much more stylish and classy and not like a children's toy like the Lego box. Also the build looks much better and more natural. Not like some unnatural straight stick. The text is readable and looks good
  3. Please use the translator of your choice: https://www.stonewars.de/news/lego-kopiert-death-stranding-moc/
  4. Obviously minifig scale means playscale. Nobody is asking for a 2m long HMS Victory.
  5. Oh please guys. Why do you feel the need to defend the actions of billionaires? In fact i try to recycle everything correctly. If it would not be for my neighbours the regular trash could be emptied once a year. And no, i do not drive a car! I use my phones and computers as long as possible. My previous mobile phone I was using for more than 10 years (Maybe more than 12 but i don't remember exactly). My computer and laptop are from 2012 and 2016 and they still have a long life ahead of them. I eat organic meat only once a month. My heating is on the lowest possible setting. I would not mind it colder but the house needs to be heated to a certain degree. The electricity here comes from 66%+ from renewables. So i am pretty confident that my CO2 footprint is much smaller than the one of the Lego owners with their three privat jets that fly without passengers the whopping distance of 100km from Odense to Billund. Now let's please get back to topic. If you want to discuss this further, please open a new thread in the fitting forum.
  6. I guess you don't use a phone or electronics with components made in China? Or a car, train, food, medication with Chinese components? Electricity from Chinese solar panels or wind turbines? Clothes or plastics? Your glorification of the Lego company (i mean the company, not the product) in every one of your posts is unreal. Do you work for Lego? Did you know that the owner family owns three privat jets that often make the 100km trip from Billund to Odense or vice versa? The planes will fly this route even empty. Did you know that these planes made more than 1000 flights (to various destinations) in the years from 2020 to 2023? They destroy the environment like any other billionaires and only care about money.
  7. Great little moc! I really like the big hanger type structure with the large round curved slopes and curved slopes as roof. The doors, where the stormies walk through fit right in. And there's some nice greebling everywhere. That flex tube behind the dish looks great. Also a cute detail with the rat living in the engine. All the stickers and prints add more details to the scene. The printed tiles you use for the stove fit perfect But i must say, the recycled food looks not very delicious Seems Luke enjoys his soylent green brown though. But i guess the true intention of this moc is to show off your trans-blue tiles. Haha, just kidding - we talked about the tiles recently
  8. Thank you! First time i tried to build such a base and I will definitely use this technique again in the future. And welcome to the forum @AgentBrix
  9. Yep, it's true, the ships everyone want come from other companies nowadays. I can not imagine the Endurance will sell well.
  10. I guess i mixed things up between unlicensed and classic. But the majority of castle mocs, are not 'classic'! That's what i meant. I should have been more clear but i always try to keep it short. (Otherwise writing a text in English will take me too long ) I love to browse through all the fantastic castle mocs at flickr! But they do not qualify as 'classic'. What i want to say is: whenever people hate on Star Wars and licensed themes in general, they often have a very narrow view of what is creative while the orthodox definition of 'classic' is not very creative in itself. Thus licensed themes are much more creative in my opinion. Of course other people view it differently
  11. Here's the info from reddit: • 3011 pieces • $259.99 - €259.99 - £219.99 • 29th November
  12. My fear, that the ship will turn out to be a not-minifig-scale display model, came true. The model looks bland and boring. Easy pass for me.
  13. Yes, they expanded the warehouse in Poland and most (all?) standard pieces are available as bestseller pieces in Europe, Australia and New Zealand now (or will be soon when the transition is complete).
  14. StoneWars reports that the Eldorado Fortress minifigures are amongst the parts at Pick a Brick that will be EOL very soon. Last year the cut-off date was mid November. If you plan to get more of the Imperials or Pirates you better order them now.
  15. This is not true. Actually the opposite is true! For example, if you compare Classic Space and Star Wars, all Classic Space mocs look the same. Actually they MUST look the same because it is Classic Space! If you add a color or to many new parts the gatekeepers will hit on you. I've seen that. Or, I still remember a fantastic Ice Planet moc that was shared in this forum and people said it is not really Ice Planet because the moccer added a color. Talking about creativity eh?! On the other hand Star Wars has hundreds of planets, space ships, thousands of characters, etc. Star Wars mocs are much more diverse and creative than anything a classic theme has to offer. Oh, and you can make up your own planets and characters, ships and animals within the Star Wars galaxy and it will be perfectly fine. Or you can create your own Hogwarts student and let them explore the Wizarding World and have many adventures. Meanwhile, what does Majisto do? Living on peoples shelves in his GWP hut. Is that creative? Saying licensed themes can not be creative or that other people are not creative because they like licensed themes is just so wrong on so many levels.
  16. Imo 1x1 plates under the feet of a minifig don't look good, even when legs and plates are black. A skirt, cape, armor or shoulder armor or even that small neck piece with a stud und one side are better to increase the height of a minifig.
  17. Colorful pew pew in space? That must be Star Wars! Great job on all the ships and special effects
  18. Yeah, you nailed that rough look This is what came to my mind (but maybe that's just my brain seeing connections when there are none ). Even with a blue-ish roof:
  19. Exactly! They often look horrible. Looks like the buildable Ewok romur has been removed from the LSWL subreddit [EDIT: It's back! 18+, 90$]
  20. Maybe they think the buildable fur looks good on Chewie, so they double down on this I mean, there a good looking buildable statues like C-3PO or even creatures, like Disney's Stitch, but Chewie and an Ewok? Nah.
  21. Buildable Ewok anyone? (new rumor which i hope turns out to be a false one.)
  22. Very nice moc! The green really pops on the dark brown ground and the colors work well together. Also great technique with the curved slops for the landscaping. I also like the buildings! For me they have these rough Scottish island look (maybe i am wrong haha).
