42111 - Fast & Furious car
rm8 replied to Kaanere's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
@Jurss Steering wheel is not working - it's attached with blue pin-axle. -
@Jim May be you can increase box height a little bit: 42098 is not only lower deck, but also a higher deck that can store higher cars than 11 stud. And also add 49,5 wheels ONLY for SUVs of the same scale, 37 mm wheels and some old wheels of the same scale from 37 to 43 wheels. But only realistic (non-balloon) types. I can help with wheel tyoes and links. This will give a lot wider models varierty among contestants. I am sure contest will be more popular than previous - we have a lot of people willing to take part from our rus community.

42111 - Fast & Furious car
rm8 replied to Kaanere's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
For this price it can be a two very well detailed cars in the scale of 42093 or little bit larger (for better detalization) with 43 or 49 mm wheels. If not, this can be still detailed car (1 pcs) with 56 mm sport or 62 mm truck tires. Larger mean very poor detailed. I like both variants. -

Technic 2020 Set Discussion
rm8 replied to dimaks13's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
that old sets was from another era, where models was not strong as today. there was no closed differential frames in that models, sooner brick built frame will be broken that gears Still don't see the reason of moving from old differential to new version. Old still good for mechanical models, new for RC -
Technic 2020 Set Discussion
rm8 replied to dimaks13's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
New differential is not very good for mechnical "hand rolling" models, because of 28:12 gearing. In some situations transmission can be stressed or damaged. -
I think they prepare for toyfair long before start. So this can be model verison of 2 months before today, despite designers have final model.

Duplo Technic Trains
rm8 replied to Ctan's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Good work! do you have a video of train? By the way, we have similar contest in our RLOC LTR. Some models have gears instead of train wheels - yeah, not every technic fan have train parts) All contestant photos https://vk.com/topic-40661157_39227788 -

[APP] BrickController2
rm8 replied to imurvai's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
At RacingBrick channel I saw that android verison work well with PU L motor as servo. Playing with 42109 I can't make steering work right - no return to center. Is it it the problem of iOS version?- 1,310 replies

Powered Up 3.0 update
rm8 replied to kbalage's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Balazs, thank you for review. Dissapointed again. But I have another question. In the end you tested BC app with gamepad. I also have Gamepad and last BC app on iOs. Playing with 42109 I can't make steering work right - no return to center. Is it it the problem of iOS version? -
[TCM1] 8081 110 Pickup

That's what I like. Your model is the most conservative redeisgn among all others. So, how many projects we have now except your and @HorcikDesigns, @johnnym, @sirslayer?
