    My theory is that Lego Group is experimenting on bringing back Classic Space themes. If this new line works, Lego Group would have to consider making a true new Classic Space sets. Most of this new sets are Sci fi or Nasa prototypes. They even included alien stuff. So to me, they are paving the way for new space theme sets.

    The legend says, 4 classic space lego sets were released first at the christmas of 1978 in America to compete with tente. The rest of Classic Space were relesed on europe on 1979.

    What would happened if Blacktron 1 theme stretched all the 90s decade? The world might never know... It has a 3 section spaceship, a rover, a robot guardian, a flyer, an elevator on the back, working diagonal garage doors, 4 diferent space era baseplates and many more stuff! 1320 pieces 99% of them can be found on 90s Lego sets!

    Thanks with your comment and I agree 100% with your opinion. Some fans on the comunity have label it as a "Lost" Classic Space set. Although it's not an official Lego design.

    Thanks! It will be possible with the help from all Classic Space fans still active outhere. Just imagine how cool would be if Lego Group released it for everyone.

    For me Classic Space is not just the type of pieces you use, Classic Space is a concept, the environments, the feeling of liberty that you can write your own rules and apply them to your creations, the harmony among the color factions working together for common goals. IMO That's what Jens tried to teach us with his creations.

    This is a great design! An impressive creation that dignifies the memory of the Classic Space theme. If some pesimist tells you this doesn't look like Classic Space, just ignore him.

    I agree with all that, saddly if you create them as you said, it won't be much appreciation for them. Sometimes old sets look cooler to us because of nostalgia, not for being better designed or with new functions. I tried and today Lego fans don't appreciate what you are refering to.

    Remakes are new versions of old Classic Space sets like the 10487 which is a remake of the Galaxy Explorer from 1979. These are a new designs, Sets never seen before: Understood?

    Like this? There's a facebook group called Lego Space Futuron/Exploriens/SP3 and includes futuron creations in it. You should visit when you have time.
