  1. Don't know if it was cancelled last year, just that the rumours turned out to be wrong
  2. If you swap the yellow parts the taxi could make a nice old-timely police car for the station.
  3. Rumour of another Architecture set this year - 21058 and will include 1476 pieces. Release June 2022.
  4. I like Lego Architecture and Expert Landmarks. But there are some landmarks that Lego has yet to do, or may never make. Last year I bought The London Eye by Wange, and Neuschwanstein Castle by Xingbao. The quality is not the same as Lego, but not bad quality. I had to make a few mods to the London Eye though. Wange make bricks that Lego does not. For example, the London Eye uses a double sided 2x2 round plate. Wange also make sets similar to the Lego Architecture, but larger. Some are good, some not so. The Castle uses some interesting building techniques. Not sure if Lego would have built it that way. But I am pleased with the overall result. Still, if Lego did ever make these landmarks, I would probably dismantle these and buy the Lego.
  5. Someone is trying their luck by listing the castle for £999 !!
  6. My boat is arriving today. Sets are already appearing on eBay UK. The castle and the boat being listed for £400-500.
  7. Blue = Skylines (as in the sky is blue) ?
  8. When I placed my order, it was still saying the 8th. But after I placed it, it changed to the 29th. So I don't know if I made it in time for the 8th.
  9. But if you wait and order on the 8th, it might be sold out!
  10. Still nothing about a GWP. Any chance that those who pre-order will get a surprise GWP? Or is that unlikely? If I pre-order, and it is shipped on the 8th, will I get the coffee cart GWP?
  11. I was really hoping that this would be no good so I won't have to buy it, but I will have to now!
  12. Ha, that's how I started. I got the Mini and VW Beetle, and now I've got them all!
  13. Since 10290 turned out to be a Pickup truck and not the rumoured DeLorean, do we definite proof of a Lego Titanic release? Too many rumours proving untrue. I'm starting to doubt.
  14. Not sure what to think about this one. Disappointed that it is no DeLorean. I love the Expert vehicle range. Looks smaller than most vehicles of late. Also it is generic, "A Pickup Truck". No specific brand or model. Unless they are trying something new with this one. 10295 was the Porsche, and 10278 is also going to be another VW camper apparently , that is the two they normally release in a year. This is a third one.
  15. So 10291 not a Fairground set? There is still some missing set numbers, 10279, 10285 to 8, 10292, 10293. That's 7 sets. One has to be a Fairground set.
  16. This sounds like it is going to be a big release. Can we expect it to be revealed at the Lego Con on June 26th? Or will we have to wait for the next Black Friday showcase, like they did last year when the Colosseum was released?
  17. It needs a Richard minifig, complete with Tom Selleck tash.
  18. Could it be that there is something in the Seattle rumour? Not a skyline, but a remake of the Seattle Space Needle? Larger, more detailed set, to be released in August, maybe 2016 - Burj, 2017- The Guggenheim, 2019 - Empire State Building, 2020 - The White House. All the remakes have been ones of the earlier sets, improving on the design, making them larger etc. I wouldn't mind a larger Space Needle.
  19. Clever. JKBrickworks never fails to impress. Sure to a hit with winter village fans.
  20. Congrats on reaching 10,000. Well Done.
  21. So is going on Lego Ideas I'm sure it will be approved.
  22. 4000+ for an architecture set seems too high. That is the kind of numbers you expect from the expert range.
  23. Can these stadiums be said to be part of the landmark sub-theme? Perhaps Lego is starting a separate sport-related / stadium sub-theme.
