LEGO IDEAS - Vincent van Gogh: The Starry Night
MartyMcFly replied to JintaiZ's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Its very clever and creative. Just need to wait and see what the Lego designers do to it. -
Such a lovely build. Supported. Hope it is made into a set. In fact, I would love to see more of sets like this. A Village collection

10295 Creator Expert Porsche 911 Discussion
MartyMcFly replied to BrickWild's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I hope that if ever Lego makes a DeLorean, they will go with a 2-in-1 design. One, a regular DeLorean, and the other, a Time-Travelling BTTF DeLorean. My 10262 Aston is currently a Porsche, thanks to instructions on rebrickable. Very good one, not too dissimilar. But I will still get this, and rebuild the Aston. -
LEGO Ideas Discussion

Another Friends set would be great. It has to be Monica's apartment. There is two sets on Rebrickable. A lego set would probably just include the main living area and kitchen, not the bedrooms. The outside balcony would be a great addition as well. And in the same TV stage style. It could include so many easter eggs from the show as well. Would like to see more mini-figures. Jack and Judy Geller, Ben and Emma, Janice, Richard, and a Marcel figure. If an Ideas set sells well, why don't Lego make more sets based on it? The market is there for such sets. Turn the Idea from one set into a new theme. I think that a Friends Fan would love to more sets, maybe even sets of other apartments, Chalders, Ross, and other scenes. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
MartyMcFly replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Not sure about a hospital. Would it be a large modern day hospital, or a small town 30's style one? Maybe some sort of medical centre or GP surgery would fit in better. And a corner style one would suit that kind of building. -
Finally got the Police Station today. 19 days. And the box was damp.

I got one package today. Two weeks since I order it. Still waiting for the second package, strange because they were ordered the same time.

UK TLG customer service accessible?
MartyMcFly replied to Fuppylodders's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I had this before because I paid with Paypal, and it was on back order and the payment expired. Contacted them via email in the end, but it took a week to get a reply back, then another week to respond again. That was in the first lockdown. -

Downloaded the instructions, and they don't show pins either. -
10 days and still waiting Is it just DPD having border issues? Why don't Lego switch to another courier?

Unlike the other models in the re-branded Expert line, I can't see anywhere on the box that this is part of a "collection". I thought it would have "Vehicle Collection" or "Classic Car Collection" or something like that. Same with the Ecto-1. But then I thought maybe that is part of a movie-car collection, like the DB5. Perhaps Lego is staying away from labelling the cars as part of any collection and are selling them just as they are. Are those wheel arch parts the same as in the VW Beetle? -

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
MartyMcFly replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Another modular retiring so soon after the Diner. Do you think it is possible that another modular may be released in later in 2021? They have increased the number of vehicles to 2 releases a year. Or would 2 modular releases a year be too much? -

Are these sets going to be released on the 1st? That is less than week, and no announcement by Lego yet, and not yet listed on lego.com as coming soon.- 137 replies

Definitely needs a pirate ship ride. And of course, Lego could include lots of easter eggs from the pirate theme.

Icons Landmark Buildings - Rumours and Discussion
MartyMcFly replied to Vilhelm22's topic in Special LEGO Themes
It lists two sets, one for June and one for July. Based on previous years, a Fairground set may be the June release, and last year we got a Train in July. It doesn't list sets 10279 or 10284. Another vehicle and Winter village set. Although a like the vehicles, I hope they go back to just one release a year. Two is getting expensive. Unless maybe one normal car, and one movie based car. Another landmark so soon after the Colosseum? It could be possible. If so, a smaller one for sure I would think.- 259 replies

Just saw the YouTube post. Black Friday is the day for the reveal. Other websites are saying it could have about 3,000 parts given the $199 price tag. Not long to find out.
