I'm guessing the survey results indicated that a Maleficent Display set was shown at too high of a price point for people to buy that resulted in the downgrade to the minidoll playset we are getting. The Simba display sets aren't of any interest to me so that's two products I won't be buying. I'm guessing that the kids would much rather have a Lion King Playset with a few more characters from the movies like Timon & Pumbaa so two competing Simba display models is a weird choice in my opinion. All the Wish sets seem to have tanked. I bought the two smaller ones at a discount. I still can't bring myself to buy King Magnifico's Palace which even at 50% off it seems overpriced to me. The Advent Calendar being Microdolls is a no buy. I don't collect Brickheadz. Don't need yet another Ice Palace. The upcoming Little Mermaid sets look like they should be Duplo. And the slide on the latest Tangled set just ruins it for me but then again as an adult I'm not the Target audience. The Inside out set is just bizarre.

My order just had a Classic set & Best Seller PAB pieces & I got the GWP. I know in the past when I've had a mix including Standard PAB parts I've gotten the GWP's but it seems like in may be a regional thing since those of you in Europe don't get the GWP with Standard part orders while we do in the US. When they revamped the system they said all PAB orders would qualify but they never change the wording of the terms on the website. The T&C for us says standard parts don't count but so far it hasn't been the case for us.

Dang, I never even considered that it might not be minifig scale. I sure hope it is.

Rumor has it the Space Diner is supposed to start the 14th or 15th so tomorrow or the next day. Also saw mention somewhere a couple of weeks ago that there might be 2x points mid June.

I'm from BMF (Before Minifigures) by almost 20 years. I'm thinking of doing a recreation of what I originally made to represent people for a couple of conventions I'll be attending this summer, what I recall as being my first MOC's that I can remember from the 60's. I still have those old bricks so it should be interesting to build some stuff from before we really had any instructions. Don't think I can do any vehicles since the original gray rubber tires have mostly dried out.

Love the reference to Benjamin Franklin Gates in National Treasure. I'll have to watch the movie again. Honestly I hope this rumor is true because that is a beautiful looking ship. Not that I need to add another expensive set to my wishlist.

I just built this one & the other set last night. The white air tanks are currently available on PAB. I prefer the Alien Planet Habitat set over this one. The aliens are cute but the white parabolic ring doesn't really fit in my opinion.

Did we have an inkling this ship was coming? I need it! I don't care that it isn't really Pirate themed, it's a beautiful vessel based on the pictures I've seen.

I'd like to see an Egypt based set with Mummies, Pyramid, Sphinx, sarcophagi and a recolor or two of the scorpion along with some printed Egyptian columns rather than the stickers they've defaulted to. I never got the bigger sets or any of the Orient wave from the Adventurers series and Jurassic World already has the Dino Island stuff covered. Did they ever do a Mayan/Aztec style wave? Seems like the Jungle sets sort of touched on that but not as obvious as the Desert or Orient waves.

Not having seen the movie at the time I acquired that figure I thought the cracked helmet was a manufacturing defect & was about to request a replacement helmet from LEGO. Felt like an idiot when I realized it was supposed to be that way.

That's because new members on message boards/reddit/etc. have a tendency to post their questions rather than searching for the information they seek. Those who tell them to use the search functions are called unwelcoming and others happily help out the lazy folk by answering directly.

I'm guessing purple is out for the "new" classic spaceman color. Reason being they already made it for that employee set last year. So if Purple isn't one of the choices I'd vote for Medium Lavender (light purple), Bright Reddish Violet, Medium Blueish Green (teal) or Lime Green. I'm not one for mutilating figures to make them into something else so I never made the unofficial classic Purple Spaceman and I don't have the green one either. Can't wait to see what color choices they give us. As for the new Castle Faction something interesting that isn't reptilian.

Not a fan of the dioramas so I hope we never get them for the Harry Potter theme. Too many bricks wasted making the bases for them. I prefer my bricks going into a build rather than a black base unit.

Probably a good time to grab some spare air tanks off PAB. It's a cute set & I'm sure I'll be buying something while it's available. Not exactly what I was expecting but this one should appeal to the kids that are into LEGO. Not every GWP should cater to us AFOL's.

If I remember they are fairly simple builds that can be easily modified to make them what you want so I just downloaded the instructions. I'm sure I have enough random bricks to be able to replicate them without purchasing all new parts.

Several members of my LUG have found some in a local grocery store chain this past week, a subsidiary of Krogers.

Love the display. But I noticed that the Creator 3-in-1 Treehouse Treasures which was Pirate themed doesn't appear to be included.

This is why I take all rumors/leaks with a grain of salt. I only believe it once there are actual photos.

Now I need a Bison! And all the rest too. Elk, Moose, Beaver, Deer, Fox, Wolves. I don't have Black or Brown bears so wouldn't mind some of those too including baby versions. A few more rabbit/hare in any color other than white. Maybe a Marmot/Woodchuck/Groundhog or even some Coyotes.

It looks like most of the parts on PAB have pictures now. There are still some that don't but a lot that were missing are finally there.
