  1. You know what, you might be right. Thats funny asf
  2. The corners look like new pieces to me
  3. I'm betting the same as previous years..... Big box that lifts up, 5-6 smaller boxes with another for wheels + tires, and 2 instruction books. Id say they might do what they did with the Sian and have the bonnet with badge on the front of the box and the image of the car on the back. The Limited edition thing will probably be, like I said, what they did with the Porsche 18+ set from last year, a Porsche wallet, some certificates and photos and nothing more. I wonder if there might be a new promo included with this, would be interesting..... Maybe a smaller Ferrari or something along those lines.
  4. Not sure if anyone has seen this, but does indeed seem that there is a "Limited Slipcase edition" of only 5000 units. I reckon its similair to the Porsche 18+ car with the wallet and paper stuff but who knows. https://sasatimes.com/lego-42143-ferrari-daytona-sp3-preview-the-new-technic-supercar/
  5. Wow, I absolutely love this model. The Huayra is one of my favourite cars and you have done an amazing job replicating it in Technic. I especially like the front of the car, that shape is perfect. I'd love to do this in red without the Huayra BC parts on it. Functions are great, looks great, good enough for me.
  6. I don't think it will, the Sian had 0 stickers, I reckon they will follow that
  7. YES YES YES YES. I have never clicked on a topic faster. The LP700 is my favorite car in existence! I cannot wait to see the finished product on this. Barely anyone does any Aventadors so this will be a good one. The chassis looks good so far, the push-rod suspensions is super accurate as well as the gearbox. Good to see the center diff for 4WD as well. Will you use the Technic pistons or make your own, I think 1:10 scale doesn't suit this scale but its your choice. Good Luck!
  8. Absolutely amazing job with this again. This is definitely my second favorite model of yours after the R32. The fact that you managed to cram the mechanism for the gearbox and 4 wheel steering is absolutely incredible. I'm no Technic MOCer but I do buy a lot of Technic sets, but this beats all of them. I can see why some people think the design is very controversial mixing lots of system and beam stacking with regular technic, but I think it makes the car look 100% better in terms of accuracy for the model. As usual, my favorite part of car builds, the engine look phenomenal and the Technic pistons add a lot of realism to it. Im very excited to see what comes next. An R34 GTR would make my day, I definitely think the skill and functions are all there. Good Luck!
  9. Negative Nancy here! I cant believe they chose this car. It really boggles my mind what goes on at Lego and who decided this car would be a good car to choose. Especially for a brand like Ferrari. The LaFerrari would have easily been the best choice for this but no. I know Im going to eat my words here but I bet this car is not gonna look good in Lego form, even tho IMO it doesn't look good irl either. Lets hope the functions make up for it though. The car has a removable roof so lets hope they at least add that.
  10. Great! I've already decided I'm still going to get it. The Livery issue and current supposed lack of functions dont bother me to much, I just think the aesthetics are cool. Cant wait for your video!
  11. On a more positive note, does anyone know the embargo for the reviews and such? I'm really keen to see some more in depth info before I buy it soon.
  12. Yeah its a big killer for me. I was on board but now not so much. I'm not a fan of F1 at all but I thought this would be a cool model. I guess it makes sense for them to do it, but it really isn't for me. I'm still on the fence.
  13. A full leaked image has surfaced on Instagram. The panel is blue, also they are tumbler tires with ugly wheel covers.
  14. Also the Brickset link is up, its MCL36, its definitely the 2022 car
  15. Yeah gotcha, found it any way. Nice model. Not an F1 car fan at all but I might buy it, looks cool Also, Im having a debate with mates what scale it is. Im definitely going 1:8 scale. it looks massive
  16. I think we are well past the expected date for any sort of teaser or announcement from Lego at this stage. The Nuremberg Toy Fair goes until the 6th of Feb I believe so I would point that as the last day Lego will potentially release anything. Looks like the rumours may be true.....
  17. I love them all, but screw TLG for the stupid price increase here in AUS. I think Speed Champions cars are already really overpriced, but this new wave is ridiculous. The old wave was $29.99AUD for the single packs, $59.99AUD for the Corvette double and $89.99AUD for the Ford and Dodge double packs. This new wave is even worse. The Singles are $32.99AUD and the double packs are $69.99AUD. Like what.
  18. So when do we think we will get some info? (If its not delayed) I had a look through my DMs and the Sian was teased on the 29th of Jan. The Nuremberg Toy Fair is on the 2nd of Feb so Id say that's it. Fingers crossed.
  19. In terms of functions, I think If they did a LaFerrari, the door mechanism would be super cool as well as the rear clamshell opening. The rear wing on the LaFerrari is also a super intricate mechanism so that would also be really cool.
  20. Boy I am not disappointed at all, I was rooting for either Koenigsegg and Pagani but Ferrari is still an amazing choice. My #1 top spot would definitely be a Laf but the successor looks to be similar so lets hope.
  21. Damn, then the rumours may be true. Thats a real bummer.....
  22. On the topic of that though, just read an article that says there was a listing for the ‘TBD Technic Ultimate Car 2022’, on electricbricks with a piece count of 3,776 and a release of August 2022, and then the site claims that it wont be coming out in 2022 at all. Interesting I think. source: Brickfanatics
  23. You are so damn right. The Aventador is my dream car and I was so stoked when Lego shared that silhouette teaser, for then it only to be the new Sian. (Not saying it wasn't a good set, but I would've liked an older Lambo) Its just the big corporations doing what they do best I think, using the new and amazing Lego technic car to promote their new $4m car that only a few people can buy through a $600AUD lego set.
