You are basically saying that its his fault that the COVID-19 pandemic happened. This isnt about people buying multiple sets, its about Lego's small supply because of the Mexican plant closing. Dont blame others when you dont have the evidence.
Ordered mine at 6:30am AU time and I got the hot rod promo. 1 hour after i ordered it it was out of stock so lucky me. Also it hasn't said anything about back orders but the main home page has been changed back to the "Drive what you love" thing instead of the Sian. Must have run out quick and didn't want any more complaints. Hopefully mines here on Thursday(Wednesday US time)
Where was this image found?!?!? it looks so cool from these angles. Especially the one showing off the chasis. I thought it had removable body panels for a second. Also the gearbox construction looks similair to the chirons. Notice the gear to the left side of the front wheel shown with the small green parts on top.
No its just a recolor. They were originally yellow, but they made red ones for the GT3 rs because it was more accurate to the real car. The grey ones are softer than the red and yellow and they were used for the front suspension for the Land Rover Defender set.
You're right, its to flat, it needs to be curved. Also I wonder if it has an engine bay cover or not. I'd assume it would, but it doesnt look like it hinges, it is just removable
There is a lot to take in here. For one, this is the most detailed engine on an ultimate Technic car yet. also we can see parts of the wing, which unfortunately it looks like it wont go up. also the interior is grey which is odd
I just noticed on that image with the doors up how ugly that part holding up one of the headlight bars looks. You can see white on the other side aswell
How do we think Lego will pull off the fact that its a hybrid. I thought that RC with PF or control bricks would be interesting but it will be interesting to see how they make the motor or if they just completely ignore it and just fill it with a gearbox
Another thing that I find interesting is that a supposed leak from last year said that the new Ultimate car was gonna be a red car with wing doors. I also think that the Sian isnt a very good car choice and I think Lego is just trying to promote the car and brand.
I want to point out that Lego has said nothing about the release of the car on June 1st. For example on the 21st of May 2018, they showed of the image of the wheels of the Chiron with the steering wheel and numerous gears in the middle. They also posted the car with a cover over it and the wheel revealed. These were to promote the Live event at Lego House but obviously they wont do that this year but it will be interesting to see how they reveal it. Probably with a designer video and that's it.
