  1. I really do like these contests, so I don't mind spending a few hours working on it. Maybe I will take the easy route and not recollect all entries for the voting topic. Let me sleep a night on it
  2. I'm thinking of closing the topic somewhere around noon on the 1st of August.
  3. Thanks for "redesigning" your model. I really love it. And HoG steering using the spare tire....more awesomeness When is this model available in stores?!
  4. Non Vehicle was my initial idea for last first contest, which turned into the Triple Build. I can guarantee there will be a Non Vehicle contest on my watch
  5. True! It's like a puzzle with limited pieces.
  6. No problem. OT: We are currently working on a set index where you can find the discussion topics more easily.
  7. Thanks I am used to working with undocumented code, so no worries
  8. It would be really cool to write and collect reviews of some of the entries. Would be interesting to compare the entries, looking at the reviews.
  9. I might have a crack at this project later this year. Thanks! Can you share the program as well?
  10. That's what we are here for The Volvo is a great set. One of my favorites!!! No problem! Welcome to EB by the way
  11. That was my first impression as well, but apparently this configuration works fine with V1 controllers.
  12. They are permanently using V1 receivers. You can find more information about it somewhere in the Review topic (or this one, not sure).
  13. This is exactly why I like the 8258 so much. Altough I do agree that the crane could be better. And I agree with the comment about the 8043. This set should be on the top of your list.
  14. The unanimous answer I expected was 2. 8258. It's one of the best sets ever and it's getting more difficult every day to obtain one MISB (out of production for a while). The Volvo will be around for a while, so you can buy that set later.
  15. I'm locking this thread. Merging might be too confusing.
  16. I have merged your question with the Unimog discussion thread. There are 47 pages of why the Unimog is great....or not. Take your time reading them all
  17. Cool entry!! I really like your box image. Nice touch Color scheme is great too.
  18. Wow, this truly is an amazing truck. You have packed a lot of features into this model. I really like the loader and the opening hopper. Your image was 1280 pixels wide though, which exceeds the limit of 1024 pixels. I have linked to a hosted image on my own Flickr account. Feel free to resize your own image and change the link back to your own image.
  19. That worked out fine last time, so that will be the standard for future Technic contests
  20. The entry model needs to be built in real bricks and photographed accordingly. Any exceptions wouldn't be fair to the other contestants. And I do see pictures of the actual model which are looking good, so I don't think it will be a real problem.
  21. True! @super-jaschka: I cannot condone what you posted in the entry topic. It should be a picture (or combined pictures) but no renders. Same goes for the parts picture. Hope you can change this before friday since it would be a shame of this great entry!
  22. That's a very cute mini bike! Nice work
