  1. Wait! Did I see our great emperor Bonaparte building a Friends set? I can think of the reason though. Looks like you all had a great time, and great weather too! I'm sorry to have missed out again. Next year Billund I'm on!!
  2. Thinks he should be posting stuff he build, he's falling behind aaargh!

  3. Have fun out there guys! I'm sorry I can't be there AGAIN... (It does mean more beer for you though )
  4. You've made a beautiful loco, I love the snotted back and the studs on the tender. Well done!
  5. Why the puking face? In all collections there are items that are just that rare and wanted, it's just what you are willing to pay for it as collector I guess. I love your educational posts about the history of Lego, but the use of this particular smiley doesn't come off as really professional, nor objective. Just a friendly suggestion.
  6. The hull shape and everything looks great! I must be honest about the colour scheme though; I don't like it. Just think about the poor sailors that would have to keep the ship that white all the time. I'd try to just make the middle stripe in white, and make everything else black with yellow and dark blue ornaments on the top side and rear. I've also never seen colour on the outside of the rests, I'd just make these in black, reddish brown or maybe even dark brown. The stern looks still a bit like a WIP to me, the shape is great, but it is a bit plain. The little star is a bit alone, I'd try to make some ornament friends for him in there. All criticism aside, it is your ship and I wish good luck on your final build!
  7. This is a great improvement, it looks way better to scale!
  8. Brilliant! On a serious note, I wish Lego would just stick to 1 colour for the ''flesh'' of minifigs. I love the ''flesh'' colour, but I also do not dislike the good old yellow. Please Lego, just pick one!!
  9. They're beautiful, I look forward to see them in the new larger dry dock!
  10. I remember we had a ''what figures do you miss'' thread (sorry, to lazy to search but so are you I guess). Anyway, a lot of those ideas have been made into the series. Seems finally my biker idea is coming with series 10.
  11. NO, the whole point of a forum is to discuss things. What would be next, a big dislike button?
  12. That was a great read, never knew the Blues enlisted cannibals but that may help decreasing your own numbers at night.
  13. Screen resolution: 1366 x 768 Internet connection: 40/20 mbs Internet browser: Firefox, always the newest version Thank you for taking this survey, would a poll be helpful?
  14. Who's been messing with my post? I of course meant...aaarghh..never mind!
  15. I have experienced this in some of my older (and rarer) pieces, but due to their value I can't just throw them out. So I simply put a bit of tape over the stud (invisible in clutch) and they work again.
  16. That looks great, I'm looking forward to see it in the flesh next week.
  17. Nice one! I feel mixing the light greys is OK, but the dark ones differ too much for a clean look. But when making rocky or stone things, does it really matter that much....?
  18. A pirate with a skirt around his neck? But you are right, I should loose the red cloth too. Your shape looks great, nicely shaped small cabin and a brilliant idea for decking! The only improvement I can think of (sorry for nagging...again) is the headrails. They seem a bit too low and I'm missing the second and third rail and the vertical beams that connect them and form a railing.
  19. Congratulations guys! I wish I could have been more of service to my team, but finishing the new house and moving to it has taken up all my time the past weeks. But luckily all went well and we enjoy the new place a lot.
  20. Now that is cool as hell, great build!
  21. A very nicely executed entry! I love the effects you've made, you are quite the artist.
  22. Thank you for pointing out all the great stuff I'll be missing.
  23. Nice one Tigger, love the mix of the large windows and the little 2x2 ones!
  24. Brilliant design, nice and smooth! I wonder if it really needs the 1x1 round brick on the barrel , wouldn't it look nicer and chunkier without it?
