    A Friend's style Space theme would be awesome. Probably the only way we'll get windscreens in different colors and sets not entirely conflict based. Also I keep saying this but we really need some Classic Space creator sets. Creator sets have alternate builds, no stickers, and (at the Expert level anyway) classic smileys. Just one a year would would be enough and they could cycle through themes if necessary (Classic Space, Futuron, Blacktron). It would be glorious.

    I'd really like to see a Classic Space Commander. Maybe in red with a non-broken Benny helmet, epaulets, cape, and some cool printing. The non-broken Benny helmet is a must. What would be really cool is if they made a big clear visor for it as well, since the classic helmet never had one and the standard visor doesn't fit them.

    Ain't that the truth. I won't buy used sets unless it's something ridiculously expensive new and then I'll pour over the pictures to verify for myself it's all there. Also, "mint" to some sellers seems to mean "not currently on fire."

    Same here. I've bought hundreds of sets through my lifetime and only had one missing piece ever (a largish fence piece from a house set). If you have missing pieces from 4 different sets all at once it makes me suspicious that maybe you're doing something wrong.

    Does the Riddler car have transparent yellow windows for headlights? Looks like it but hard to tell from the pics and none of the usual websites have the parts list for that set yet.

    Exactly. Imagine something like Benny's Spaceship/Exo Suit or Medieval Market, but with alternate builds. Pretty sure those sold well.

    To play devil's advocate, there were many Mars Mission and Galaxy Squad sets I passed on because I liked the human vehicles but not the alien/bug vehicles. Nexo Knights is the same way -- I want the cool Knight vehicles or mechs but don't care for the sillier bad guy stuff. Here are some examples: http://brickset.com/sets/7646-1/ETX-Alien-Infiltraitor Awesome human robot but bizzarre alien space ship. Wanted the robot but did not buy. http://brickset.com/sets/70708-1/Hive-Crawler Loved the jet bike but totally uninterested in the giant bug. http://brickset.com/sets/70322-1/Axl-s-Tower-Carrier The vehicle is awesome but the big bad guy is just silly. Without the bad guy this would be about $10 cheaper and way more worth it to me.

    Neo Classic Space or anything like Elves with normal minifigs. Or something like Friends with new Fabuland figs!

    I have no idea. People say things like this...but then you have things like Star Wars that are just as popular as ever and people still love the original designs and buy Lego sets of them. On the other hand, Star Wars is Star Wars and incredibly popular whereas Classic Space isn't. Oh yeah you're right. Huh.

    Many older AFOLs really miss the old Space and Castle themes. They also love Creator sets since they have alternate builds, the classic smiley faces, and no stickers. They also tend to have fantastic build techniques. Seems like Space and Castle Creator sets would be a home run, giving older fans everything they want. Is something like this a possibility?

    I'm telling you, Lego needs to release some Classic Space style sets under the Creator brand. Creator appeals to us older fans: no stickers, alternate builds, classic smileys. Make Classic Space Creator sets and they'll sell like crazy. The only problem is how much this would get Lego in trouble with Disney since this may be considered competition with their Star Wars stuff. Who knows what's in their licensing agreement.

    Wow these are fantastic. I just built this set yesterday and I was trying to figure out a cool alt build for it. Now I see I have no excuses!

    I recently got a couple Creator sets and I must say they are the best. No stickers, 3 builds in one, and (usually) minifig scale. I think Creator sets are the only ones that really provide the experience I want. Which makes me think that they REALLY need to do THEMED Creator sets. I've said it before as have others. We need NON-LICENSED Space and Castle Creator sets, as well as other popular classic themes.
