    Wow these are fantastic. I just built this set yesterday and I was trying to figure out a cool alt build for it. Now I see I have no excuses!

    I recently got a couple Creator sets and I must say they are the best. No stickers, 3 builds in one, and (usually) minifig scale. I think Creator sets are the only ones that really provide the experience I want. Which makes me think that they REALLY need to do THEMED Creator sets. I've said it before as have others. We need NON-LICENSED Space and Castle Creator sets, as well as other popular classic themes.

    I don't think it's any more pandering than all the violent themes with shooting guns marketed to boys. I kinda feel like the opinions of grown men who don't like minidolls aren't valuable or important. Yeah, I'd prefer if the Friends & Elves lines came with regular minifigures, because I like them better, but I'm not gonna try to tell girls or women who like them how they should feel about minidolls. If girls like them, and they get girls into Lego, that's a huge win as far as I'm concerned.

    You know, Space Police 2 might have my least favorite Space color scheme of all. The grey, black, red and trans green looks kinda like barf. I mean actual barf!

    I remember feeling betrayed by Blacktron 2 and Space Police 2. Blacktron 2 had WHITE bricks for gosh sake. BLACK is right there in the name! And of course the figures weren't nearly as cool. And Space Police 2 had basically nothing in common with the original Space Police.

    Whaaaa I just noticed a micro Polaris I Space Lab and what looks like the Monorail in the background! I'm going to have to give this video another watch.

    Yep, Space Police 3 was Futuron fodder for me. Futuron came out when I was 9. My sister got me the Stardefender 200 as well as the Blacktron Battrax that year for Christmas. Will always cherish those memories! Something about the icy white and trans blue colors of Futuron will always remind me of the Future, and Space.

    No wonder Lego only makes Star Wars and Galaxy Squad-style Space sets. All you guys want is war. Why are they all armed to the teeth? Aren't they explorers? Why don't the girls have guns too?

    Oh I see. The first one looks different enough to be its own thing. I like it a lot. Sort of a mobile hover base if not a walker.

    Whaaaaaa?! That is way too cool! I think alt builds like this really highlight how amazing Lego bricks are. The way you turned regular plates into joints! I remember doing stuff like that as a kid but I totally forgot it was possible. I love this though. The legs and feet have a great shape. The doors as fingers are perfect. Well done! You've upped the ante.

    Got another one! Also a Gamma V Laser Craft alt, this time a base. I used the panel pieces as walls and the hover engine pieces as support struts. Here a little robot adjusts the output of the main generator. Top view showing the klaxons and communications/sensor array. Album link
