  1. Wow, I am jealous of your childhood! You had almost everything! And your pieces look very well cared for. Thanks for sharing!
  2. Yeah those are all good picks. I'm surprised you guys didn't include this one though. I've wanted that in trans yellow ever since it was on a Lego Movie poster with Benny.
  3. A very similar part exists in trans red: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=x224&colorID=17&in=A It's two studs shorter though. I like the red stripes in the black sections. It nicely accentuates the "Police" printed pieces.
  4. That piece is legit amazing.
  5. Nice parts use.
  6. Haunting! NPU for the eyes.
  7. Got it on the first try! Anything Classic Space or Classic Castle. The minifigures we got recently were great, but something with a small build (small spaceship or castle wall) would be amazing.
  8. That is insanely cool!
  9. Space Dacta set: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/143418-lego-educational-dacta-discussion-thread/&do=findComment&comment=2859477
  10. I didn't notice the window panes. Awesome! As for the roller coaster, the cars grip the track much like a monorail grips its track. But I don't see any way to motorize it. Also I don't even see wheels on those cars -- maybe they just slide along? Also the cars are too small.
  11. Wow no love for the Commander around here. I have a soft spot for it. It looks wintery in white and blue, and the transparent green, yellow, and red pieces almost look like Christmas lights. So if you don't like the Galaxy Commander, my question for you is: why do you hate Christmas? Also it's modular. It has a command base that attaches to the main craft, and the fore section can detach into a very swooshable twin-seated fighter. What's not to love? The Galaxy Commander, in my mind, is the set that proved that Lego Space was an institution. The first wave with the Galaxy Explorer was the introduction, and the second wave with the Starfleet Commander was a continuation, but the Galaxy Commander meant the Space was a theme that had lasting power and plenty more tricks up its sleeve.
  12. Yeah, on second thought I would for sure complain about that. Maybe trans purple? That would probably look amazing on this model.
  13. This is insanely cool. I would not be disappointed at all if Blacktron 3 looked like this.
  14. Those wheels. Only a mad genius could come up with those.
  15. This is why we need - say it with me - Space Themed Creator sets!
  16. Funny how to some people Classic Space is only the the first few years of Space: blue spaceships with grey wings and trans yellow canopies, etc. To others Classic Space includes everything before Blacktron & Futuron. And others still refer to anything before Life On Mars as Classic Space. I think it depends on how old you are. Man that is so true now that you mention it. Just makes me feel more miffed as a Space fan. We are so deprived!
  17. I must say I'm glad to see something other than transparent neon orange or neon green. I would prefer regular old transparent green to trans bright green but whatever. Just glad we're getting any colored canopies to be honest.
  18. I was super disappointed that this doesn't have the trans light blue cockpit as seen in the movie previews. It looked very cool (literally) with the white, but the clear cockpit is boring.
  19. That walker is adorable. It's so refreshing to see a Classic Space MOC that is actually designed for exploration and not death and destruction! So many MOCs these days are just war machines in Classic Space colors.
  20. Total speculation: Improved automation technology is allowing Lego to eliminate 1400 jobs. It's better PR to blame the layoffs on a drop in profit, however tiny.
  21. Ohh yeah baby! So many great MOCS will be made!
  22. In total agreement! If I saw that yellow Legoland banner on a new set I would probably faint!
  23. I've seen the catalog and there are no Space/Castle themed sets.
  24. Okay. Personally I don't believe these will be themed. I'm guessing they are just generic boxes of bricks.
  25. Is this confirmed? Source?
