    I guess I should add a non-smart aleck answer. I like the U-Wing mainly because it's a fresh design that still feels like Star Wars.

    I was literally looking at the same thing last night and had the same thoughts! I don't think we'll know for sure until it's released, but I'm hoping for stickers in this case. I don't think prints generally touch the edges. For example I know the print on U-Wing fighter canopy doesn't.

    I absolutely refuse to believe that! Lego apparently hates the original trans green. I dunno if they've decided it's too garish (what I would call bold) or if the dye is just more expensive than bright green. But I would be glad to eat my words on this.

    The older dark green. I once saw a spaceship MOC that used black & trans dark green and it looked great. But of course I can't find it now. This will give you an idea though:

    I'd be lying if I said I didn't prefer the original Blacktron black & yellow color scheme. Or if I said I didn't consider the black & WHITE (wtf?) Blacktron 2 color scheme a betrayal of the original. And neon yellow/green has been really overused (M:Tron, Blacktron 2, Insectoids, Roboforce, UFO, many recent sets). But I will say, if we must have a new color scheme, black & transparent green looks really good.

    Heck yeah. The 40th anniversary of the original Legoland themes is a huge opportunity to do something epic! I hope they don't waste it!

    I had another dream about Classic Space sets getting a re-release. This time I got a new set with a re-tooled transparent blue Classic Space helmet! I was over the moon. And now I want one for real.

    All markings I want should be printed. All markings I don't want should be stickers. :D But seriously a print on a rare piece that would otherwise be super useful is kind of a bummer. Meanwhile all the very common pieces in this set that should be printed have stickers! Also I hate to say it but on second glance I'm not even sure the red windscreen in the new Tie set is transparent. It would be lame if it wasn't obviously.

    You're right. I just looked at my U-wing printed canopy and it also lacks the printing over the edges. So my argument is invalid.

    Freaking AWESOME! Can't tell if it's a print or not...but it doesn't go over the edges of the piece. Which makes it more likely to be a sticker. I think. Looks like the original Classic Space windscreen in transparent red as well!

    Arg! So annoyed! The Lego Worlds Classic Space DLC was delayed until July 25th! That DLC was the whole reason I bought the game and there wasn't any notice of the delay at all other than a single tweet. http://www.brickstolife.com/lego-worlds-classic-space-dlc-delayed-to-july-25th/

    Fifth Element has hover cars too and is fairly recent. That train has a bit of a Art Deco feel. I want to see more Art Deco style MOCs!

    I'd like to see some stats when this is all over. Like warrior vs non-warrior, sports vs non sports, licensed vs non licensed, male vs female. It would be interesting to see if there are general preferences at work.

    The front wheel well is an eyesore but not a dealbreaker -- I'm sure there's an easy mod to fix it.
