For real, what's Lego's fascination with orange? Orange is why I didn't buy the sh*t out of Mars Mission. And I'm a space freak. Also not a fan of the orange Galaxy Squad sets. It's just not a heroic color.

What if it's wrong? You can see the arms, the antenna "head," and the disc shaped "foot" of the robot. Check out the robots in this set and this set and then tell me those "engines" don't look like robots.

Printed Classic Space logos will make me happy enough that I won't care about the other designs being stickers.

I'm totally excited for the exo-suit, provided it has the classic white space man. Anything classic-space, or neo-classic space, is an insta-buy. There's never been a better time to hope for a Classic Space come-back, what with Benny's ship and the exo-suit, as well as Peter Reid's space book. Hopefully, if Lego prints those slopes, they'll look for more opportunities to use them! Speaking of Benny's ship, it looks like there are two little folded up robots underneath the radar dish. Also I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned those "competition cannons" at the base of each wing. Me too! Seriously, this is the most excited I've ever been about Lego since I was a kid. Benny's spaceship is literally a dream come true. (Yes I have dreams about Lego making space sets again, quite often in fact.)

Benny's Spaceship Cuusoo Exo-suit (if it includes the classic space operator) Arctic theme Agents theme (if the sets are good)

Why did the classic space helmets have dimples for a visor?
danth replied to jodawill's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Dude, I had no idea these existed. Also didn't know about the different chin straps. -
Perfect!

I think the new Agents line should at least give a nod to Alpha Team somehow.

It'd be nice if Lego put the alternate build instructions online. I'm sure all the pieces are there for a nice fire truck and barn house.

You're right. This is just the only time I would prefer a sticker. Because I would rather have an uncracked Classic Space helmet than a cracked Benny Helmet.- 2,626 replies

Probably a good thing. With pictures, the jealousy would be too much to take.

If ever there was a case for stickers, this would be it. Seriously. I'm getting one no matter what. The price only determines how many more I buy.- 2,626 replies

It's going to be a looong wait for that space ship. What if I die before then? At least I will have died excited.- 2,626 replies

Oh my god, I can't wait for this. Along with the arctic theme and the Classic Spaceship, I'm going to need another room in my apartment.
-
Dude, these are my thoughts exactly. I'm hoping the arctic sets have skis and chain saws so I can mix them with the new Classic Space ship to make my own Ice Planet 2022 theme. Also your joke about penguins makes me hope that the arctic theme doesn't have any fighting in it. Yeah I think it's great. The ranger sets were something very creative and new. I'm all for breathing new life into City with this kind of stuff.

I like hearing those words. Also according to Lego Historian's post in that sticker thread you responded to, sloped pieces with textured surfaces tend to be printed. Fingers crossed!

This is awesome. That little HISS tank is just perfect. Any chance of building the red cone/dome that covers the Firebat launch area?

Does Lego still make non-minifig printed parts?
danth replied to danth's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Awesome, thanks for the examples. I forgot about the computers; those are still printed obviously. Thanks for the list. That makes sense. Not sure what you mean but I am a big fat sticker hater. I'd prefer just a few printed parts to the gratuitous stickers we get today. I mean look at Vermin Vaporizer. Those stickers don't really add much other than visual business. The set looks cool without them. Why not just print a couple parts with the Galaxy Squad logo and forgo the busy stickers altogether? That is a great insight and is incredibly good news to me. That means the sloped bricks for the Benny's upcoming space ship might be printed with the Classic Space logo! -

Judging by your avatar I am not surprised. :D I think Lego had Bronies in mind when creating her.- 2,626 replies

I haven't seen any non-minifig printed pieces in a while and I was just wondering. I don't buy many licensed sets -- is that where all the printed pieces are now? Or is it all stickers these days?
-
It's an instant must-buy. If those Classic Space logos are printed on and not stickers, I'm going to buy at least 3 of them. And I still want the space ship from the poster. It's a great little design as well.

Wow. That is amazeballs. If you're going to go crazy building a ridiculously huge Lego car, the Lamborghini Countach is really the only logical choice. It is, after all, the coolest car ever made. Bravo!
