  1. I think people are being way too pessimistic about the likelihood of a classic space reboot. We all know there will be another space theme. Now just slot in the Classic Space colors, use the Classic Space logo, and make Blacktron the enemy. Incredibly feasible.
  2. I think they may as well just give these guys visors. The "new" helmet looks weird without the visor.
  3. Fabuland should definitely come back! I think they wanted to bring Fabuland back, but since kids today only like fighting, we got Chima instead. :)
  4. It's getting harder to believe there won't be some new classic space reboot. Especially with the new green space men.
  5. Green space men! Fantastic! Amazing that AyliffeMakit totally called it. I wonder why they added all the pointy bits to the top of the design. I liked the flat line of the shoulders with only the single antenna sticking straight up. Now it looks too busy.
  6. Dude this is so cool. I cannot wait to see this thing!
  7. Oh my god, that is going to fuel some serious fantasizing on my part. Thanks for the info.
  8. A dark barrel for a forearm is how you make a space mech interesting for all ages?
  9. I seriously doubt the hand is in black. The barrel sucks though. :/
  10. Man, I'm dying of suspense over the Exo-Suit and can't wait to see it!
  11. The white Classic Space astronaut with Classic Space-style robot (check the rumors thread) is yet another Classic Space-themed summer release (along with Benny's SSS and the Exo Suit). I dunno man. This could be foreshadowing...
  12. I was lucky enough to experience Classic Space as a kid. When Futuron and Blacktron came out I was blown away by the new helmets and the exciting color schemes -- they kind of ruined all the previous sets with the visor-less helmets. M:Tron and Space Police were also amazing and I was lucky to get one set from each of those themes. I was sort of miffed that Blacktron 2 and Space Police 2 changed so drastically, so I kinda ignored them. However Ice Planet 2012 blew me away when it came out. After that I got more into video games. Now that I'm older I am learning to love the Classic Space themes with the old helmets again. They are definitely equal to anything else in coolness, and those sets were being made for NINE YEARS.
  13. So this is a special set you only get if you buy from Lego.com during a certain time frame? I want that so bad! In multiples! I wonder if it will have a new helmet sculpt.
  14. Hey, we can dream, can't we? Hmm, I'm not so sure about that. You haven't heard of the CUUSOO Exo Suit?
  15. I would love to see at least two nice Classic Space style creator sets. One with grey, blue, and trans yellow pieces, and another with just grey and trans green pieces. Maybe even a third with white and trans blue pieces for Starfleet Voyager style color schemes.
  16. I looked at my box and yep, you're right. Weird. I wonder what that's all about.
  17. I would have been thrilled to see the Space Miner in M:Tron colors. But I still like him. New helmet, space armor in grey? What's not to like? Classic space logo with a drill instead of a space ship?
  18. What you're missing is that your actions also affect other people. If a scalper buys up all the local supply, ensuring that kids who wanted that set won't get it, guess what? He has just negatively affected other people. It's not illegal, it doesn't make him evil, but it is a dick move. Now put that together with your ideas of responsibility: Scalpers are responsible for their actions, too. If a scalper buys up all the local supply of something to drive up prices, he is responsible for his negative effect on the hobby. Nobody else. So stop trying to blame US for the actions of scalpers. Hopefully you now realize that my examples were intentionally absurd to illustrate that the person negatively affecting others is also responsible for his actions.
  19. I'm going to man up and take responsibility for my own happiness. Do you know how? By laughing at you for agreeing with what I said and then calling me stupid for saying it. :D Classic!
  20. All I'm hearing from you is "Waah, Danth is making absurd comparisons." Have you ever though about manning up, or thinking like an adult?
  21. I thought we were talking about scalpers? You know, other people.
  22. I don't buy this argument because it can be applied to anything. Someone came up to you on the street and beat you with a baseball bat? Waaah, quit whining. Man up and learn how to fight and protect yourself. You could have beat him with a bat before he got you, but you didn't. Someone broke into your house, stole all your Legos, then burned the place down? Waah, quit whining, you should have had better security and had your house built out of asbestos. It's like you don't believe in the concept of someone doing something bad to other people, because waaah, quit whining, those people should just man up.
  23. What gets me is when people put sets up for sale at prices that nobody will EVER pay. Like a Buy-It-Now only eBay sale with a price of $1000, when the same set is available on Bricklink for $200, and when the same set sells at auction for $100. I've seen those sets just sit for years and never sell. You would think the seller would lower his price every time it fails to sell, but nope. It's like they have a mental illness. If you want to scalp Lego sets, at least do it at auction where it will sell for what the highest bidder will pay for it. But you're just wasting everyone's time when you set a stupidly high Buy-It-Now price when you have no idea what your set is worth. Sometimes I wonder if people that do that have some ulterior motive. I could see ridiculously high Buy-It-Now prices driving up auction prices. Personally I think Buy-It-Now has mostly ruined eBay.
  24. I finally got mine! Made the trip to the nearest TRU and snagged it. SPACESHIP!
