  1. I pre-ordered this set from Amazon because I'm not hopeful that any stores around me will get this in before Amazon does. However, I'm still going to look for it and buy it if I see it anywhere. I mean everyone needs at least two of these, right?
  2. I'm too cynical to believe that. I think they have to say things when the real reason is to save money. Totally agree with you on that!
  3. Yay for Fabuland!
  4. I totally get this, and agree. I found myself wishing that the Galaxy Squad sets were bristling with sensor arrays and antennas instead of guns. I did really like the sets other than that (and other than the bugs which I mostly ignored). Ironically when I was a kid I used to pretend that all of the pointy bits in my space Lego sets were guns and I loved the idea of fighting. As an adult I do the opposite.
  5. I like how the ball joints aren't visible/obvious in vehicle mode.
  6. This is true. I for one just really, really want another Space theme with the Space logo. The Space logo was used in Classic Space, Futuron, the original Space Police astronauts, and a snowy version was used for Ice Planet 2002. So I think it's due for a comeback -- hell, it's been used on all the Collector Minifig astronauts already. Imagine if the Galaxy Squad minifigs had the Space logo included on their chests and each space ship/mech had one printed Space logo. AFOLS would have went nuts buying those sets, instead of just buying the 3 coolest ones. Oh yeah and we please get some air tanks for our astronauts? :)
  7. I was inspired to create this logo. I think it's a great gag. :D
  8. Calling BS on that. I think kids like stickers in general, but not stickers on Legos. Stickers in Lego sets were pretty rare back when I was a kid, but I hated them when they were included instead of printed pieces.
  9. Exactly. Also, printed pieces don't peel off and get dust and hair stuck on them. And they don't go on crooked.
  10. Lego Classic Space and Macross/Robotech are two of my all time favorite things. So naturally this is a huge win in my book.
  11. This makes me think Lego should make a theme all about transforming robots.
  12. Turns out the Classic Space logos are in fact printed on the slopes. There were pictures posted on reddit and in the Sci-Fi forum.
  13. What a huge relief. :)
  14. Do you have a color printer and access to a Staples store?
  15. There was a picture posted online of Benny's Spaceship with no stickers applied and it didn't have any Classic Space logos. This leads one to believe that the Classic Space logos are stickers and not printed on. I find this pretty upsetting. I don't like logos that rub and peel and get hair and dust stuck on their edges. :(
  16. Agreed that stickers suck. I'd rather pay like $.25 more to cover the cost of printing those pieces.
  17. Bad news. A pic has popped up showing Benny's SSS with NO printed parts. Link
  18. Space - from Classic through Futuron, Blacktron, Space Police, and M:Tron. Close behind was Castle, especially the Black Falcons.
  19. Cat A #18 - 2 points #19 - 2 points
  20. Magical!
  21. I want more Classic Space sets! For a start the spaceship shown here. Which should include a CS minifig with intact torso print and helmet. There's also this base.
  22. Any new pics?
  23. What set is that tiny gray minifig from?
  24. Classic Space Macross Valkyrie? You just made me cry a little. :) (Tears of joy of course) I think what Devid is saying is that his MOC is showing the outside wall of a base. We're seeing the landing area outside of the base along with the outer wall.
