But if they stop production of emergency based sets indefinitely, what will they do with City as a whole? City thrives off of that kind of stuff. What sets will they make then? They have to make money off of these sets. My argument was never about whether the emergency sets should be there. It was really the overdoing of police. No side really wins by cutting emergency sets. KFOLs don't win because they won't be able to catch a criminal, fight a fire or save a life for a while and AFOLs don't win because.....well....what if there are AFOLs that collect those kinds of sets? It's kind of a lose lose situation here.

LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

I will when I finish all the buildings. Unless I can post a picture of what's in my mind, I can't really post pictures of my town. Right now my table town is on my desk and has to be taken down so I can put my computer up. -

I saw it. You did a great job. I might do that too. In my town, I use the crooks hideout as a reformatory school for ex-convicts seeking to right their lives. Its run by The Brickster from Lego Island who is no longer a criminal. -
Train heists is kinda obvious though and a bit....well....not interesting anymore. I said a bus heist since that'll be very interesting and something brand new for City. Stuffing bags of money and gold inside of a bus. Sorta like this YouTube episode of The Engines of Sodor. Though instead of the train being there, it's just a simple police chase. As for the police armored train, that's something I'd fight for. I'd also fight for a police bus as well. I kinda was hoping for a police bus for this year's wave. But there wasn't one.

Lego 10277 - Crocodile Locomotive
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to mapimi's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Ok! I remember City doing a shorter version of this back in 2007. It was part of a Cargo Train set. All you would really need yo do is paint it brown. Other than that, it looks exactly like a crocodile. -
Great Job! I love the little reference to Lego Island 2 by mentioning Ogel Island. Also, you did a great job with the building of the LNER A3. I wonder if Lego can do something like that and make a model of Gordon the Big Express Engine from Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends. I also loved the coaches and the cars. Sam Sinister would definately love something like this. Can't wait to see the engine model when it comes in the mail. 10/10

I agree! Like you said, considering that we didn't get one in 2019 or this year tbh, I don't think it's too much to ask for a crooks hideout as the base set instead of the annual police headquarters we see every year. Police Stations have gotten boring nowadays. I hope they do a public transportation subtheme alongside next years police wave. Maybe a bus heist for the 2021 police wave may help them tie into each other.

@TeriXeri Now those I would pay for. I need one in my town. I need a place for reformed criminals. -

These outweigh Sky Police. At least is a police wave based in the City like the name and description of the theme says. I don't mind vehicles. But I don't think there should be a headquarters for 2021 since they seem to be based within the city limits. Then they can take caught crooks to the City Police Station. Heck! The 2013 police wave survived without a headquarters. The 2021 police wave can too. -
Nice! How was your experience?

I think those might be 2021 sets though. So we'll have to wait a few months. But I want that police car for my station though. -

They say around here that the Transit system doesn't appeal to kids. But I disagree. I've been into the transit system since I was a child and I've known other to be too. I can tell you for a fact that these are sets I certainly would've begged my mom for as a child. I'm a bus driver and I have been to career days at school. If the transit system didn't appeal to kids, that wouldn't happen. Now would it?
