Whoa! That's wicked dude! I do wonder though. Where did you get the stickers and how did you do the digital menus so well? I'm actually impressed. This McDs is actually better than all my MOC restaurants.

Ouch! I didn't realize that. Then again, I was using my phone. So that's prolly why I didn't see it. Still! That's a great job you did.

LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
A yellow tram according to one person on this forum. He said it in an early response. This guy named @Maxentius said it. "Hello guys! I'm usually a seller at a local LEGO Store in Budapest (but it is closed at this moment because of COVID-19). I heard a rumour from by store leader that there will be a big set arriving at sometime in the summer including some vehicles, shops and a yellow tram. It will likely be the successor of the 60097 City Square set." I don't really care what anyone says. Public Transport is a vital civilian service. I think they should get their own subtheme instead of just being in town or a mega set. -

@Vilhelm22 @jonwil I actually recommended a Forest Exploration subtheme which I hope is done in 2021. It could have bears and birds. But it could also include the first ever deer and wolf moulds. Not like the huskies in the Arctic Exploration subthrme. But actual forest wolves. This subtheme would also give us some subtle, yet comedic closure as the current state of Castle in Lego - dead. It would mostly focus on the ancient castle and village ruins of Lego City during the 16th Century right on the outskirts of the city. New Characters Introduced: Forest Wood - an avid nature enthusiast and tree hugger Robin Featherweight - a young bird watcher and nurturer. As for explorers as a whole....while I don't agree with emphasizing action outside of the city in a theme (police outside of the city included) about action in regards to city life, I do have to take into account that during the late 90s and early 2000s, the explorers (while they were their own themes) were still subsidiaries of town. So it makes sense. Along with the fact that there is really no other way to put them out there. Unless they made a theme like Outdoors or something. But I doubt that'll happen. Btw, the named minifigure in the ship set is just a different version of Harl. He doesn't really fit there in my opinion. But he's there so I guess I have to deal with it. Then again, I'm not even buying it. -

The explorers sets as a whole for City have become pointless as other themes seem to cover that and people seem to buy those more than the ones in City. But I don't think they'll be leaving anytime soon and I don't think they're all that bad. -

My town is not a police state. Whoever sees it first gets to keep it and do what they wish to do with it. The coast guard just has to bring it to the surface. -

Tbh, I don't think I really need the big ship. Treasure finding is done by the coast guard in my town. But I might get some of the submarines. I'm definatly grabbing that poly bag. -

The golden age was over since 2009 in my books. We've had some golden ages in the 2010s most of the awesome subthemes such as Construction (though we did get Demolition in 2015), Emergency, Garage, Farm and Harbor were killed off after the 2000s. Cargo made a comeback in 2013, but that one was soon killed off and split between the 2016 Airport and 2017 Town waves. We haven't seen a proper Harbor since 2011. Farm only makes subtle appearances now with its last set being the Harvester Transport. Emergency does too with the last medical themed set being in 2019 - the Ski Resort. Construction only makes subtle appearances too through great vehicles and nega sets. As for garage, I guess the automotive sets from this year will have to suffice. -
Thank you

Thanks! I think you might be able to put some bricks in between there to cover up the hole. That would also be a very good idea.

Thank you. I actually had the drive thrus of Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme in mind while building this. Turns out it worked perfectly. It was initially going to be a drive thru, but decided to make it walk to in order to serve the people better. Where are walk to food windows in a time like this? That was rhetorical btw. ....and when I get some road, I'll post pictures. Right now, my table town is on my desk. LOL

While I prefer baseplates now as an adult builder, this would've been something I would've definately enjoyed as a child. I remember actually having something like this and I'd roll my toy cars around on it.

We have an old general store in Maryland. It was called Hyattsville Hardware Co. Now it's a toy store. But the sign from the 1950s is still there. My grandpops also told me that general stores were also common in the 20th century too.

I don't have any beef with the ship itself. I'm ticked off over the price. Unless the set can perform miracles - don't pay more than you have to. Well.....actually it can perform miracles. It's a good addition to any seaside town or custom made Lego harbor. But for me personally, it looks like I'll be participating in an eBay bid for this set. -
What's up my fellow brickheads! Back to you with another MOC. So this was just something I made out of random, but it actually turned out great in my opinion and its now a permanent member of my table town. For the exterior, I used some pieces from the doughnut shop, which is where the doughnut and roof obviously came from, plus some tan wall pieces that I had from some previous sets. I also took liberty to use the sliding window system that they did for the Burger Bar and Ice Cream Truck. The stickers you see there are stickers that I used from a Lego Xtra sticker pack that I had. The lady you see out front is named Baklava Baker. She's the manager of this location. For the interior, I made this custom oven here. I made it using the oven piece from the pizza van and the coffee machine from the doughnut shop. Mount both of those together on a white 2x6 and you get this small, but amazing masterpiece. I also added a frozen pastry bin. I'm going to pretend that the bin itself is a cooler and that the pastries are in plastic bags. So that's the MOC guys! Tell me what you think!

The new airport and the big ship are both on my list. Welp, I guess that's what my stimulus check is for. LOL! I'm also excited for the new town set. I hope there is more than one town set and so far, there are six set numbers missing. One of those is of course this year's town planning set. I'm going to assume that two of the unnamed sets are people packs. The other three could be buildings. -

Saw them! That ship is EXPENSIVE!!!!! I love explorers sets, especially Arctic, Divers and Space as they give me early 2000s nostalgia. But the sets that I want are so expensive! Always $100 or over. -
Great Job! Nice work using the broken Buzz Lightyear wing as a prop there.

Yeah! Something similar to the marina that we got back in 2011 would be awesomeness!
