LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Yeah! Something similar to the marina that we got back in 2011 would be awesomeness! -
Amazing

Wow! That's amazing. You get a 100% from me. Great usage of the curve slopes and vent pieces for air conditioning units there along with black pieces for the roof. I also like the interior shots. Is it really that big that I could fit a camera. If only Lego would actually give us another engine shed.

Its annoying I have to agree. Especially when you want Lego to do something really bad and your dreams get interrupted by a long speech on why its impossible. However if you want to make sure the point gets across properly, sometimes it has to be done. I guess people do that here as they want to have a deeper discussion. Not really a malicious act. Don't be upset. None of us here really work for Lego so we're all really stating opinions. None of us really know what could happen. Myself included.

LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

City is the best at generic vehicles in my opinion. Two ships in one I guess.... -

As far as City is concerned, that tends to be the case. Especially when it comes to the whole subtheme thing. Whether its Introducing new subthemes, getting rid of certain ones or asking for dead ones to be revived. They're in our dreams and that's it. Yeah! But we are getting 2 vessels in 1. So i kinda understand why they priced it that high. -

2009 focused primarily on its industrial side. Kinda wish City would do a year like that again. Technically Garage was also an emergency subtheme too though. -

Same here! Even if they just release a farm as a town set, I'd buy. -
Officially not a toy anymore

.....and that's 100% okay, my friend. I personally don't like licensed themes myself. I prefer generic yellow people themes as there are no races or anything like that. -

To speak the truth, my favorite subtheme was the garage subtheme from 2009. I had all three sets from it including the garage, tow truck and the helicopter transport. I think the orange cremesickle livery from those was much better than the 24 HOUR SERVICE livery as it stood out more. I hope City brings that livery back soon. Obviously the automotive industry is popular with kids (to which I feel incredibly humbled) thus why we saw 60255 to 60258. Unfortunately I ended up removing the stickers from the builds and taking them apart for spare parts. Dumb move on my part. They should do an Octan tow truck as a nod to the tow truck in this set here. -

The 60154 Bus Station for me. As a worker for the transit system, I'm saddened that public transit workers don't get the recognition they deserve in the City theme. We're just as vital to civilian life as police officers, firefighters, doctors, farmers and construction workers. -
