  1. OCTOBER!!!!!! I thought it was September. Lego you're really starting to irk me..
  2. I guess we'll have to see when the sets are revealed. Which should be soon.
  3. Yeah! But that's not really focused on buildings though. Just a bunch of vehicles and props put together to make an amazing set. It's not really building focused like 60292 and 60306 is.
  4. If it's anything similar to 60004, it's definitely on my buy list. Though the building itself may have to be smaller as to accommodate a buildable road plate.
  5. Oh! Well then in that case, I guess I have nothing to worry about then. Once again, I'm excited to see how the new fire station that is supposed to come to all countries in 2022 looks like.
  6. The fire station could've been new too. 😉
  7. My standards and expectations have been set low. Some of the sets already disappoint me. That being the quote on quote "new" fire station. The fire station that we get every three years is supposed to be nothing but a re-released piece with box art that just hit the expiration date. Same with the fire starter set. Just recycled. Doesn't give a good first impression for what we're looking at next year. Nothing but a year of re-releasing.
  8. With old box art on top of that (something that made me think it was either fake or a cancelled set that was an unauthorized leak). It really frustrates me on how people are refusing to acknowledge that the current box art isn't being used on this set.
  9. So I'm assuming this has gone back to the 2022 thread.
  10. 60004 looked like an actual fire department, which is why I liked it. It was realistic all while playing the part as a fun toy for children. 7240 was another realistic looking fire department, but if I knew what to do then like I do now, I would've added another garage - making it big enough for the fire truck at the time. 7945 was a step down as far as design language for me as it looked more like a house with fire station symbols than a fire department due to the windows and the shape. 7208 was a bit of an improvement. Then there was 60110, which was a huge downgrade from 60004. 60215, like you said, is kinda boring. But looking at the design, they tried.
  11. 60004 is the best fire station in my opinion. If 2022 is just going to re-releases with box art that hasn't been used since 2019 (Yes, that really bothers me), I'm gonna be disappointed. Though if 60004 was the basis for the refurbished fire station instead of 60110, I'd be more obliged to entertain the idea of a refurbished fire station.
  12. Still not too fond of City using expired box art on 2022 sets.
  13. I want those bikes. But I don't think they are really worth 8 bucks a piece.
  14. On another note, who else is picking up some Stuntz sets?
  15. I love these sets geared towards adults. It shows that Lego is no longer a toy. It's a lifestyle.
  16. Now that classic town area looks amazing! My parents talked about how they grew up with those sets back when they had every single type of building imaginable as the sets actually focused on town life where it should've been instead of all this explorers stuff. Even when they knew the set wouldn't sell, they made it. You should go on Instagram and follow max_timebuster. His town is full of classic town sets - though recently, he's been doing Adventures sets with Johnny Thunder and Sam Sinister.
  17. Please continue building. I'm sure he won't mind if it looks even a little like his.
