  1. Amazing piece of art, Da Vinci died for this. BUT it's not in pink so now I'm debating with the most popular toilet experts of our era, whether to support this project or no...
  2. Very nice building, I like the transition between rock work and fort walls. Would very much love to see this one day as the full fort but that's just me speaking out loud. Good job!
  3. What's this? A Bat....Mini-Copter? Not sure how he's going to take down Superman in this one though. Good work on the vignette, I like this rather scaled down version of trophy room, that could easily fit into a Batcave. Good job!
  4. Probably rarest minifigure I own is Iron Man Mark 47, according to Bricklink, you can buy one new for 24 euros, though I consider Barbossa to be one of the rarest in my collection (as small as it is). He is only 8 euros but to me is priceless. Of course I have to mention Mr. Gibbs (I wonder why?), he is slightly cheaper than Barbossa. Another honorable mention would be 1999s Adventurers Raft from Adventurers theme (duh) as it is selling for 10 or more euros, heard that these small Egypt wave sets weren't that good but it's the only Adventurers set I've got, so yeah...
  5. Easy to spot that new Technic flag, good usage of it. Ship itself looks amazing, among many ship MOCs a ship with a simpler look is always needed. Good job, as always!
  6. About two weeks ago I saw 31065 in the local shopping mall and was surprised. Didn't buy it though. Another instance is that I saw 4181 in a building supply store in 2014, didn't pick up at that time either but lucky for me they are selling six POTC sets in an internet store two boroughs away.
  7. That's very good. I see, now that I think about it, think I recall there was something along those lines here in Latvia too, not 100% sure though. Good to see Lego events still happening (hopefully safely).
  8. Beautiful vignettes, each one gets even better. Do you have chickens by any chance? They would improve the builds(That is for me, because personal reasons). Overall I especially like those two last builds. Amazing job! Also, what is LOWLUG. I'm weakly familliar with this subforum, so I'm not sure if it's a term or an event.
  9. I must admit, I think that vehicles included were unnecessary, but the building itself looked pretty good for a factory and was silly in its own way. Then again I doubt that I would buy it if it was released, due to the vehicles.
  10. Brilliant idea! I meself begun building a small city, which was meant to be around 17th - 19th century style. I'd like to see how this turns out in the end.
  11. Good work, I always have a soft spot for those types of roof sides. They're popular in Amsterdam?
  12. Then Lego will be a kids app company?
  13. Well, they might stop manufacturing them after some time, because people will stop buying and sales will go down. Remember, this all is just something I assume and frankly, I don't want to argue, everyone has their own view on this, some think it's bad and others think that's just how Lego adapts. I think that it's bad but I'm not meaning to start a revolution against change, just expressing my thoughts, is all.
  14. I know, it's just that it might replace building with bricks completely, as weird as it may sound.
  15. Video games have been fine since their introduction in 1997. I think that the real problem is all those apps - Lego should be about building with bricks instead of playing with app, yes, video games also are on screen but they don't seem to cross the line. Also the fact that you can access instructions only digitally is horrible. It's about the brick, not the app. Maybe I'm being a fool and ranting for no reason. It's just that I don't think Lego should try keeping up with times, as they already have been doing well with just selling sets. This is the future, kids are more attracted to the app than physical toy, internet can surely ruin ones mind.
  16. My first set was Prisoner Transport, just recently rebuilt it, sadly none of the original stickers have survived apart from that 'police' print on the 1x4 tile.
  17. I guess you're right.
  18. Hopefully. I saw supporter count and was surprised by the small amout for such amazing model. Had to share it somewhere.
  19. This model features a winter chalet and ski hill with a working surface lift. It is also full of fun little details and play features, which you can see in the video below. Ski Chalet The chalet is open in the back to allow some playability on the inside. The interior features some comfortable furnishings and a cozy fireplace to relax beside after a long day of skiing. It also has a line for hanging your wet clothes to dry. Outside the chalet is a picnic table, ski rack and snow making machine, and if you're lucky you might even get a glimpse of the elusive Yeti. Some ambitious kids have also set up a toboggan run from the roof. Good thing the paramedics are nearby! Ski Slope The ski lift brings the minifigs to the top of the hill and automatically starts them down the ski run. I also added a working starting gate for those minifigs that are more inclined to race. There is also a design video on JKBrickworks YouTube channel. If you want to see this become an actual set, then cosider supporting this project through the link down below: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/cee772a3-64dc-4707-ba9a-4a431e5297e6
  20. It depends on how well they will sell. There was this interesting YouTube channel, which has bunch of videos discussing sets that will retire and all that, so you can keep an eye out there.
  21. Ah, but of course. How could I forget about Powerslave? Good reference.
  22. Sorry, don't know the reference, although it does remind me a bit of that blonde skeleton from Iron Maiden's Number Of The Beast
  23. Lovely looking vessel with lots of firepower, especially like the choice of figurehead.
  24. For me it probably was Batmobile: Pursuit of The Joker. Now, don't get me wrong, it's a nice set and a fine display piece, designer really put much work into it. But to me it's a display piece and nothing else. Its length doesn't fit in any play scene and while the features are cool, it still doesn't work for me. Minifigures were good at the time it was released, but now neither of them are exclusive and look a bit cheap. Maybe I was expecting something more from this set, although it did remind me a bit of those classic Lego Batmobiles, most essentially UCS Batmobile, ever since this one is a minifig scale Batmobile.
