  1. Some behind the scenes shots The well: The tree: Photo setup: Thanks!
  2. With the Lotii threat causing the entire Carnite settlement the be on edge, Captain Esposito comes out of retirement to lead the local Neustadt militia on patrol around the outskirts of the town. ------------------------- OOC: A chance to play with yellowish green and make a barrel tree.
  3. Nice show of redcoat force @Justsomebrix! The figure posing is well done and all those officer torsos work well for fancy infantry! Nice colors on the base, and the SNOT sides have some interesting elements with slopes and veg. If you still have the build around, I'd love another photo taken from slightly farther back to keep the foreground of the base in focus along with the minifigs! A for GoC from me
  4. Hi @ElScoorpio - #3 is UV-printed from KTown Bricks and #4 is stickers from Saber Scorpion. Not sure the KTownBrick ones are still for sale, but I have two I'd sell if you are interested. Also have some of the #4's I'd sell (6? 4 in blue accents and 2 in yellow/gold accents). Send me a PM if interested. The muskets are 'Brickarms Reloaded Flintlock Muskets'. Also, in this other thread I used official TLG arms to achieve some arm cuffs / rings:
  5. A little DUPLO castle build my sons and I displayed at the Rocky Mountain Train Show in Denver last weekend
  6. We'd love to have you at the Wullham drydock / shipyards
  7. Great tribute! Thanks @Captain Braunsfeld! @Ayrlego should probably add the 31st Rifles to the compendium
  8. Thanks @NOD @Maxim I @Jeff of Clubs ! Here are some behind the scenes shots. Used the ATV axle from a recent Animal Rescue mini set as the basis for the cannon: My current minifig photo setup, which consists of a cheap lightbox tent, posterboard, and two $8 amazon lamps. The only part I splurged on was some nicer "daylight" LED bulbs for the lamps because I end up taking all of my photos at night once kids are in bed and there isn't a chance for natural light: The tree and dandelions, which started as an excuse to use those bright green candle pieces on some veg:
  9. QUATTRO bricks?!? You've 2x-upped me! As far as I know, the Military Academy at Fort Stockton in Wullham that is made out of DUPLO wasn't outright rejected when I licensed it...
  10. The Continental Army delivers some supplies to Damaborg
  11. Colonel Tomás Francisco of the Eslandolan Continental Army arrived in Damaborg with artillery and supplies to reenforce the fledgling settlement. He expected to find the people of the settlement, including almost a full regiment of MAESTRO soldiers, living in tents or other temporary housing. Instead, he found a town on the rise with several permanent wooden structures and enterprising artisans taming the wilderness to extract the resources necessary to expand. ------------ OOC: A large portion of my bricks are tied up in a display I'm doing with CoWLUG in Denver this weekend, so I figured I'd make a small greencoat build! I plan to do a real licensable Damaborg build in the future.
  12. Quite a bunch! I love the semi-brickbuilt flag. That's awesome. Great job with the ground complexity, too! The white and dark red works well for the building Interesting grid pattern in the background In Photoshop I go to "Save for Web" and then it lets me choose various compression ratios and preview the output. This helps get the filesize reasonable while keeping quality higher.
  13. Welcome to BoBS! Will be fun to follow the adventures of the cardinal. That highwayman fig is one of my favorites. I see you've embedded your images directly into Eurobricks. While this works, they are small! Embedding larger images lets us zoom in to see the details better. Most members set up a free Flickr account and then embed higher res images from there. Alternatively, I am happy to provide image hosting for any members who would like to use that approach instead of Flickr (there are a handful that do this). If you want to try that second method, shoot me a PM
  14. Nice job on the interior SNOT walls
  15. A fearsome bunch! Nicely done. The dragonhead rocket card is excellent! I like the rocker pieces as shields.
  16. Miniature sheep return home from the pasture in Eurobricks member Evancelt's micro build Sheep Farm, Wullham. Stake your claim over on the Brethren of the Brick Seas Forum.
  17. When she had first seen the mud cracks, they had immediately reminded Marie Ansberg of a Biergarten dance floor she had seen in Vienna as a child. The thought stuck in her mind and she plotted a dance party. The snowpack was melting in the mountains and the wash by her house was flowing, so she invited the entire town population out for a celebration. Joaquin sang them songs of homecoming. Terence's fiddle solos wove together with Herbert's righthand piano lines. Lucas kept them swinging to the beat with the upright bass. Though it cast shadows, Marie wasn’t going to let a singular cloud darken the festivities. They danced well into the night. ----------------------- Built for the 2022 Rocky Mountain Train Show in Denver. A fun chance to use some new inverted arch and hot dog pieces! Had fun with the paddle bridge. The building is inspired by @Ayrlego's recent southwest MOC. The vulture is built using Stefan G's tutorial technique.
  18. Yeah black slopes would work well as classic roof pieces! I opted for round tower cone roof pieces instead because they seemed easier for kids.
  19. Beautiful! The furled sails work really well. I'm a big fan of the dark hull. In the last pic the ship seems a little taller than similar ships I've seen, but I'm no expert. Nice work with the sea tiles in the first pic. Would love some more closeup shots of the figs on the ship A GoC from me.
  20. Also, I think 3 months out from January is April! So we haven't reached that just yet
  21. Haha agreed - it's not holding up for Jan releases! There may be some delay associated with the merger still. The direct reference was regarding new releases moving forward (e.g., April releases would show in July, etc)
  22. Rather than wait or pay up on Bricklink, I'm sure some will look to alt bricks on AliExpress, or at modifying existing bricks (spray paint!)
  23. Right. Because of the 3 month delay, TLG will probably sell some higher number of sets to the people who can't be patient, but it's frustrating. Setting a cap would help with this... but delaying 3 months just kicks the can down the road, right? And makes the pieces more expensive on BrickLink right off the bat since you can initially only source them directly from sets.
