  1. Digital file here. Damn, I love this photo realistic render feature.. Cheers !
  2. @sirslayer Thanks! It's for [TC17], Mad Max theme. Here's a .io wth U-joint parts only: Universal Joints.io. Does it help? I was in fact fixing an issue I just spotted after my render queue finished; I'd been using 3L U-joints in the model, but in fact they're 4L on my build. Plus they were misplaced. It's okay now.
  3. For U joints, I found the easiest way to get them right is to use the parts individually: instead of importing a whole U joint, import 2 U's and a center. Parts 62519 and 62520. You should be able to align both end to their respective shafts and then snap the center. Since they snap, orienting them roughly and snapping them in should do the trick. For the fake engines, the rod has to be precisely in the center of the cylinder. It does not snap there because it has a bit of free play, so it has to be manually adjusted. When it's right, turn the cylinder invisible and snap the piston onto the rod. Took me a while to get it right, but it works. See https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/175518-tc17-apocalypse-scrambler/&page=2 I shared the digital file.
  4. It was considered sexist and was changed a few years ago. Now it can be any. I'm teased ! Looking for next update !
  5. Thanks ! I've finished modeling! I'll run the renders when I have time..
  6. Love them ! I will buil one soon..
  7. I think the variety in vehicule looks in the different movies allow for enough freedom in MOC styling... Look at the pursuit specials in Mad Max 1 (lean, clean, well maintained service cars) vs. fury road's spike cars (rusty, kludgy piece of screaming metal). There's no need to add extra elements like shark tornadoes or zombies, imo. But whatever, the looks of a post apocalyptic vehicule aimed at fighting zombies still is largely compatible with the Mad Max universe, I guess.
  8. Voilà qui est fort regrettable. Néanmoins, merci pour la réponse!
  9. I'm new to Studio. I need to make sure.. I can't get Studio to auto-connect this triangle? I have to do the math and input the correct angles for left and right hinges in order for top pin to "almost" match? Thanks for helping.
  10. After a few hours' flight with Studio 2.0, I have to say this soft is really good! The renders take an awful lot of time on my old laptop, but they look great!
  11. Started modeling it in Studio 2.0. Nice piece of software!
  12. Thanks for your feedback. I totally agree. I put the old block back on, fine tuned a few more details and took a few more shots.
  13. Engine swapped. ..but honestly, I don't like it. The valve mechanism prevents it to run smooth, and I had to tweak the frame a bit in a way that I'm not really happy with. I think I'd rather keep it smooth and totally absurd, fits more to the theme.
  14. I figured I'd like a more detailed motor. But since there's only so much room in there, that would be at the cost of some of the cylinders. I started building a camshaft and push rod valves and it became obvious that I only could keep 2 cylinders. I managed to get a correct 2:1 ratio with the crankshaft, but the timing can't be perfect. That's the new block: It's a bit less absurd, but a nice lot more Technic..
  15. Nice zombie harvester. I guess if any zombie appears in the Mad Max universe, we're ready now...
  16. I managed to get a 1-by-1 release mechanism for the minelayer that I'm content with. It's compact and reliable enough. Also, a few details were tuned: That's all, folks!
  17. Thanks! You may remove top exhausts and use panels 13 & 14 on the sides, they would fit quite well (sorry, I only have black at hand): That should give your build a more civilized looks.
