  1. Nice challenge! Looking forward to seeing this work.
  2. I was searching for pieces for a fire extinguisher ( @Shtykoff) when I came across this x-mas tree bulb... Yep, a squeeze horn. Must have, ain't it?
  3. Didn't know that one either.. But I also figured you could have a nicer fire extinguisher, so I tinkered a bit and was going to suggest this: Feel free to use!
  4. Great job capturing the shapes of this classic! I like the fact that you choose to have suspension. They look a bit on the light side, but I tend to overbuild things, so maybe I'm not a good reference..
  5. So many clever solutions! But indeed, the final look is not up to expectations.. You could try and slide that #1 panel behind the front wheel one stud forward along with the door hinge, sensibly straighten up the windshield and make the door one stud shorter.
  6. Hell! They breed, too? Run for your life! Jokes apart, awesome build, once again!
  7. I took the whole body apart to, once again, tinker with those fenders, and realized I did a relatively decent job of modular building.. In the process, it struck me; what's wrong is that it's built like a tractor! It's way stronger than really required. I guess that can fit with the hot rod theme, and that my builds will get slicker as my boy gets older.. But I finally came to some improvement. Putting the fenders at an angle helps with the global flow, I think. And, well, it's still robust enough. In the end, had I managed to put them on stud lower, the only way they would have fit is also one stud to the inside (narrower). And the tires are already wider without that, so I think it wouldn't have been better altogether. Surely narrower tires would have been a better fit in this case. So all in all, I'm happier!
  8. Yes! That's fun indeed! Thanks for sharing, @Didumos69!
  9. Thanks @Rudivdk for the link! Those guidelines are more a common agreement than restrictive rules, I believe: if you try and get along what's in there, everyone's experience will be smoother. I'm sorry if I sounded aggressive about the Wankel in the first place. I think I was disappointed this exotic engine layout I love was being forgotten. Let's not forget! They existed! And they were cool. Anyway, it's always a pleasure to get new active members. You're welcome here, товарищ!
  10. Would be a nice challenge; another Ducati as B model.
  11. Very nice! Looks like the most technical bit of the track. Long straight into a sharp right, quickly followed by the left of your photo. Any mistake in what has to be a hard braking for the right turn surely puts you off the line in that left. Heads up, the only ones who don't make mistakes are not really trying!
  12. I assumed you were not really on your best lap at that moment, but did not dare ask. As for my old R100, I modified it myself and it is indeed a treat to ride. Far less performing and precise than your beautiful R1 of course, but that character!
  13. I agree it's less of a disappointment. But for the BMW, I was more focused on the technical details, the actual R1200GS is not a pretty bike to begin with. And those details were not on par with German engineering either.. The real Ducati Panigale is a beauty, much more so than her motoGP sister. And it's only my opinion, but this elegance is kinda lost, in the model. Maybe I'll change my mind when I build it!
  14. Yes, of course. But TLG could have raised the bar a bit; we're talking italian style here! This model does not really reflect that, IMO. Of course. And probably not only one. There are one-off motorcycle parts in there.
  15. As a motorcycle rider, I'll of course get it. Kudos for the gearbox, finally some actual feature in a motorbike set. I think it's great to get new motorcycle parts like those front forks, disc brakes and wider rim! But as for the model itself, I'm terribly disappointed. The front only looks almost good under the right angle, the gas tank and the seat are work in progress at best, the swingarm is a mess, the exhaust loop are wrong and once again connected to nothing. I won't be able to let it sit on my shelf in that state. Same here.
  16. Yesterday, I've been looking for a solution to lower those fenders. Ideally, they should go right in place of the most external stud of the top 2 grey beams protruding over the wheels: The light grey ones in the center are 5 x 3 L shaped and are the ones the suspension arms are connected to. The dark ones around are there to maintain geometry. The front one should be enough, the thing was a bit overbuilt, as always... But even if I get rid of the top one, switch the 5L for straight 7 and connect to the top longitudinal ones, the steering stil is in the way. This should also move, then.. And that implies a lot of reworking. I could think of solutions that imply pieces I don't have at hand, or some that are a lot weaker. In the end, I only managed to fix a small issue with the steering on fully compressed suspension... On the other hand, I'm quite happy with the suspension!
  17. They clearly add to it, IMO. Pretty neat buggy by the way! Love it!
  18. I threw the last dark azure beam I had into this build and raised the window heigth one stud. Helps with the hot rod looks IMO. Steering, full independent suspension, gearbox, classic fake engine, 2 seats and a decent body. It's getting near complete!
  19. So.. This has been turned into a place where to discuss cada motor controls? My bad.
  20. Miss Butterfly had her ride pimped! More race looks with a new body kit: spoilers, mirrors, rims, carbon disk brakes, fuel tank caps and more. A much needed upgrade; with all those fancy cars popping around, she was becoming shy to ride along in the neighborhood.
  21. You build whatever you please. Beware of what you say it is, or at all, for that matter. That was my advice.
  22. Damn, I don't remember speaking russian. Seriously, we're building Lego here. It's for fun, sure. But we're a community, so that means we have some social interaction, and a minimum of seriousness is required in that sense, I believe. I'm convinced people would think better of you should you take more care checking your sources and using your in-line translator. Avoid horrors like speaking of Wankel pistons and posting in russian, please.
  23. What!? I'm not a big car fan and don't care much about the F&F movies, but I know Mazda RX have Wankel engines, precisely because that's exotic.. Is that not the case in the movie? [Edit] It is. https://www.topspeed.com/cars/mazda/2005-the-fast-and-the-furious-tokyo-drift-veilside-rx-7-ar11157.html They mention a V intercooler, not a V engine. The engine is a Wankel.
