  2. yea german and french are the hardest to learn. I learned french in shool and im glad that i dont have to learn it anymore. anyways "das" mostly means things. I myself as a native speeker dont know most of the actual grammar rules i just you know like... talk like you would in dutch. as a german speaker i can understand dutch if its spoken fairly well but i cant talk dutch. yea german is a weird language XG BC
  3. yea german language must be so confusing for one who isnt a native speeker even me beeing from austria doesnt know all the german grammar. anyways we are not here to discuss german grammar but to look at your beautiful moc of the n wagons! XG BC
  4. ok im curious to see it when its finished. i sadly havnt got the time to do such a big moc!!! Good luck with your moc!!! XG BC
  5. im now just guessing what moc you want this to be put in but i think i know it: its gonna be a part of a tunnel drill. The part will grab the walls of the tunnel and then linear actuators or pneumatics will push it backwards and the whole mashine will in turn be pushed forward and the cycle starts all over again. Am i right? XG BC
  6. they of course are still known as "silberlinge" (thats the correct german spelling of the word) because they used to be in a silver (Silber=silver) color before modernisation. XG BC
  7. i dont know wich "steuerwagen" you wanted to represent but if its this one: you have to slope the bricks a bit but this one is pretty hard to build in lego as you have so many angles. if i where you i would rather build this one: has way less complex angles and still fits to your other wagons. but anyways i find the rest of the train really cool! These are just suggestions and if you like your that way its also ok of course. Have Fun! XG BC
  8. ok i didnt know that, but you will get better on soldering as you do it more. XG BC
  9. @Longhorn im using this for a tire and a combination of half bushings, a bushing and a 3L lego technic axle. for the wheels. but be careful to slide the tires a bit closer to the middle to prevent the sides of the tires rubbing against the 2x2 brick. Here is a photo: https://www.flickr.com/photos/145736297@N05/32437195337/in/dateposted-public/ there are also some digital files of the wheel in detail Instructions Hope this helps and have fun building the 4 wide masao hidaka compatible monorail. XG BC
  10. if i where you i would additionally solder the wires in place to prevent loosening. (Assuming you have a soldering iron of course) but anyways its a good solution that works without soldering any wires. XG BC
  11. great idea using the skipoles as guiding but ithink the bottom portion needs to be a bit longer in for the jumper in order to land in there But anyways great moc!!! XG BC
  12. that looks very cool especially the rotation is very smooth in my opinion. I just have one question: why are there battery boxes in the rails? also fell free to repost this topic in the train tech comunity because well...its sort of a train. XG BC
  13. i think the real train (tgv sud est) had just jacob boogies ecxept the front and back "locomotives". this was done originally to save weight so the train could go faster and to reduce maintenance costs. XG BC
  14. Hello guys i've finaly made a working lego usb optical mouse out of this (atleast i think its this one but its a fairly old model so i am not shure if the pcb is the same) mouse and i thought i give you a sort of instruction how to make it. First you have to remove the cirquit board out of the logitech one (you have to pry it open using a sqrewdriver or a brick seperator) Next you have to tape the lens of the mouse ( that transparent thing in front of the led) onto the cirquit board using a clear tape like this. then you have to follow my pictured instructions: http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/139047/15522295331_SPLASH.jpg you have to insert your cirquit board with the led to the back (unfortunatly my design has no space for the scrollwheel so remove that) http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/139047/15522295342_SPLASH.jpg you have to adjust the 1x1 tile so that the cirquit board sits in there thight http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/139047/15522295343_SPLASH.jpg next step is to just add some bricks. http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/139047/15522295343_SPLASH.jpg and now we are going to add the mouse buttons: http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/139047/15522295344_SPLASH.jpg in this step we add the mouse buttons and a cover: http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/139047/15522295355_SPLASH.jpg in this step we are adding the scrollwheel button: http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/139047/15522295356_SPLASH.jpg and here is a view on how the button should look: http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/139047/15522295367_SPLASH.jpg and now if you have followed the steps carefully your mouse should look like this: http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/139047/15522295368_SPLASH.jpg and last but not least you can have a 3d view of the model over at https://mecabricks.com/en/models/07vNLYwJ2Am feel free to tear it down in the editor so its easier for you to build it. XG BC
  15. thats really odd i hope they run as good as the "older" ones with the metal axle XG BC
  16. i would love to see something with crazy amounts of power like a lego buggy motor XG BC
  17. try out a battery boxcar/coal wagon. XG BC
  18. oh sorry i didnt look at who posted it. anyways good job XG BC
  19. for making the hub think the WeDo motor to be a train motor you either have to open the motor and solder different id resistors in it or you use a custom pc program to controll your train like: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/169318-control-all-your-powered-up-power-function-sbrick-devices-with-a-single-software/ also i have found a post of a guy doing exactly that: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/162288-powered-up-a-tear-down/&page=15 XG BC
  20. that is really cool! i like it how it snakes trough the really tight lego curves. XG BC
  21. the black pins are the ones with friction and the light bluish grey ones are without. XG BC
  22. have a look at this thread: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/170064-lego-rollercoaster-based-trains-crs/&tab=comments#comment-3074897 hope this helps XG BC
  23. i ve now created a mecabricks file for my monorail motor: https://mecabricks.com/en/models/Dp2llJ1q2MV XG BC
  24. hello guys i ve finaly made it i now have a fully 4 wide monorail for masao hidakas rail system http://images.moc-pages.com/user_images/139047/1551203939m_SPLASH.jpg here you can see the underside better: http://images.moc-pages.com/user_images/139047/1551203939m_SPLASH.jpg If you have questions or want a mecabricks file please quote me or send me a pm XG BC
  25. nice to see that beyond the brick has realeased a new gbc vid that is what got me into gbc in the first place. nice that this guy mentioned the eurobricks gbc forum. XG BC
