simple and effective, the use of the ladders really is clever! -
fair enough, yeah working on live stuff isnt my cup of tea either. but doesnt matter i study computer science now which isnt life threatening...

for the relatively low voltage a trolley runs on this works. for mainline electric railways something like this would be lethal. 15kV ac or more, capacitive coupling will likely get you.
-
good old mils, i still have to modularize my ski/winter stuff, but need to buy more baseplates first...
-
werent there like community mods that added parts or something? idk, i went to stud.io and never looked back.

thank you, yup, thats the one from octrainber 2021: its a real life locomotive. same for the little passenger cars.

So, i am done for now, i changed the benches, and added more greenery, i also changed the crossing signs a bit. It really does look like one of these store displays or something youd see in a catalog, you are 100% right @zephyr1934.

nice! id replace the last transparent 2x2 slope with a non transparent one. the cab looks a bit too long for me. that aside, nice build!
-
thank you! todays progress, i added a waiting area with seats (might change it to something else later), the wheat is now thinner stuff, and i added some stuff behind the combine to represent the straw that gets flung out. not much has changed on this side, added a cross for the crossing, increased the height of the left bush.
-
thank you!

Now its time for an update: the wheat isnt the final stuff, i will make it look better added some greenery the combine harvester, its not a 100% accurate representation of a claas matador, but it is similar hope you like it!
-
updates will come in time, currently building a combine harvester inspired by a claas matador

thank you from me agswell! you guys do a lot of work, not being in a lug or anything isnt a huge deal for me personally but its still sad lego is abandoning long lasting relationships like that. not that i dont understand it, its a business and they have to make money after all, i dont judge them for this.

Thank you! will post updates as i go along.

Hey guys, as i said in the other station topic from @PossumPatrol (thanks for the inspiration, have been meaning to build something like this for ages) i am also building a mils train station, mine is even more rural though. it used to be (and sometimes still is) that some stations are not near the village they are named after. many of these are just a platform along the track with few other things. this is what i wanted to recreate here, here is its current state: the yellow part will become a wheat field, still need to build an old school combine harvester to go onto it. on the other side there is a little river, part of it flows underground, this is its outlet into the daylight river exit. the model still needs some detail like a second overhead wire mast, i want to revamp the platform a bit, its just a rough draft more or less so far.

nice work! currently building something similar, mine wont be as pretty though (i am planning for an even more rural setting with just a platform more or less)...
-
i am still able to download them, maybe its on your end.

wow! just wow! -
ah so its an inspiration of an inspiration, then thank you @raised !

you know what the best part is? the hood is completely empty (aside from a bit of weight to give it more traction).
-
so today i did some modifications, i changed the a bit unreleiable märklin power pickups to the traditional carrera ones: it now uses rubber wheels for propulsion instead of the rubber bands which sometimes got stuck inbetween the rails: here is a video: hope you like it!

for the nose, credit goes to @Sérgio, i just copied what he did from the pictures of his and made it 6w.
