@Arrow now i know what you mean yes of course its kinda pointless to do it on a 9v motor but you can do it XG BC
-
i dont know if you understood this correctly because the only (electrical) difference between a 9v and a 12v motor is the methode of picking up the power! the 9v motor just has metal flanges and picks its power up from there whereas the 12v motor has seperate power pickups mounted in it (atleast if you are reffering to this motor here). No i dont think so the same applys here because the 9v motors are picking the power up just differently so the same applys here! XG BC

Mi Robot Builder

I think the software should be excellent because xiaomi is a big chinese/indian smartphone manufacturer so i think it should be good. XG BC -
What do you think about this product? https://www.mi.com/global/mi-robot-builder/ XG BC

I think the horse should feel that so yea i dont think that would work but 2 gears would fix this issue! Anyways great little moc! XG BC

...but emission of methane wich is even worse for the climate! So this solution isnt very enviromentaly friendly either! XG BC

did you know that there used to be such a locomotive? XG BC

Is this the video you are looking for? Here you can see more of the technical details: XG BC

ok nice that you have solved your problem! I hope you are having fun building trains! XG BC
-
possibly there is some sort of protection system preventing that because you know its designed for safety and not for customisation. you would have to open the solar cell and remove the protection cirquit but then you could just use different solar panels all together. Have fun with your mars rover XG BC

i dont think that it is the pole reverser switch because the light also lights up in this position. as far as your picture goes i cant see anything wrong with it sorry. There are possibly two models of the train remote with mine the light always lights up whenever a button is pressed or one of the two dials is turned! XG BC

Ok thats something new and intresting. mine never had this problem. i've had mine sitting in storage after I I moved to 9v metal track 3 years ago and it still works fine. But sadly my receiver broke. It was a V1 of course because of lego you cant really buy the V2 one from lego directly. That was before i discovered bricklink. I also broke the one before it and as i broke my last receiver i thought screw you lego im moving to 9v matal rails. Never had something blow up again! But anyways you have a really intresting problem! You could try and clean the batterie contacts a bit (dust them of a bit) or have your previous batteries started leaking please post some pictures so we can investigate your problem further. XG BC

ohh it was an april fools. I didnt realize that because i first of all didnt watch the whole video and later you can clearly see that there is no charging cable plugged into the batterie box and i didnt know that the green solar cells put out so little power but i think you could get it to charge from solar power you just have to use wayyyy more solar cells! Its a great model anyways! XG BC

that looks really nice and i think its almost original size the real sojourner rover was about as big as a shoebox so yea it could be almost 1:1 scale i just have one question: would it charge faster with the newer solar cells? XG BC

12v Half Straights (with geometry possibilities)
XG BC replied to Unfinished_Projects's topic in LEGO Train Tech
yea this IS definitely a short circuit! It ucours between the lower switches! Dont try to build this!!! (unless you are isolating the circuits and including some logic). XG BC
