  1. Even with a delay, shouldn't the theme still be officially announced/revealed very soon?
  2. Any idea when we could finally get an official reveal for the theme? If it's gonna be released in May as Stone Wars claims, then the theme should have been revealed by now.
  3. This is great! I really like the blood details!
  4. So what exactly do they expect you to submit? Ideas for new LEGO themes, or something else?
  5. I 100% agree. I couldn't have said it any better.
  6. That's really nice! I like the use of all those tires, and the head design looks great!
  7. Nice use of the Death Star planet pieces!
  8. People still do care about Constraction in general (the MOCing community especially). Amazing new MOCs get posted online pretty much every day, and there are still a lot of MOC competitions being held with lots of participants (Biocup being the biggest one). If anything, Constraction MOCing has continued to evolve even after Constraction got discontinued, and it's still evolving to this day. So yes, I think it's safe to say that there are still enough people interested in Constraction in general, even if it isn't Bionicle.
  9. Ninjago, Chima and Nexo Knights got a TV Show right from the start, and I don't see why they couldn't do the exact same thing with a new Constraction theme.
  10. This is really nice! They definitely hold the same level of quality as the official sets! I am really glad that I'm not the only fan of the Mixels line out there!
  11. The box art for the starter set looks so lazy... It's basically just the set shown on a white background. It doesn't even look like the box of a LEGO set.
  12. I think the lack of a proper TV Show in the debut year of G2 is one of the reasons the line failed. If it would have gotten the Netlfix show in 2015, I'm pretty sure the sales would have been a lot better. But, for whatever reasons, 2015 only got the web shorts, and by the time the Netflix show came out, the line was already close to ending. Also, I don't understand why they made the show a Netflix exclusive... All the other LEGO themes that got TV Shows had them actually air on television, where all the kids could see them. So yeah, with all those factors combined, there is no wonder the line failed. I really hope LEGO has learned from those mistakes and won't repeat them next time they try out a theme like this.
  13. Yes, there are. Sokoda's Bionicle project on LEGO Ideas got to 10.000 supporters in less than a mouth (now holding the record as the fastest Ideas project to reach 10.000 supporters) So with that, I think it's safe to assume that there at least 10.000 Bionicle fans (if not more) left, which I think it's enough for a crowd funded projects. Sokda's project has proven that if we come together as a community, we can still achieve our goals.
  14. So yeah, the rumors where true... Mario indeed only comes with the 70$ starter set...
  15. No, it's not a bad thing, but if the review seasons are going to get too crowded, that would mean a lot of extra work. So if that were the case, I can see them trying to reduce the number of projects they have to review.
  16. With so many projects reaching 10.000 supporters so fast, I wouldn't be surprised if some time in the future they will have to increase the number of supporters needed to get a project to the review stage. Perhaps they will increase it to 15.000 or 20.000 in order to reduce the amount of projects that get to the review stage so fast.
  17. To be fair, if I had to choose between a new completely new Constraction theme and Bionicle G3, I would much rather choose a completely new Constraction theme.
  18. Just curious, are the CCBS parts already completely out of production? Or do they still keep the molds for when thy might need them? A few recent system sets still used CCBS pieces (with Ninjago, especially), so perhaps the molds aren't completely retired yet.
  19. I'm not sure whether that is actually true. Faber hasn't worked for LEGO in years, and he seems to be ignorant about LEGO's current plant-based plastic initiative. If the plant-based plastic works for system pieces, why couldn't it also work for Constraction/CCBS? Unless we get on official statement regarding that from LEGO themselves, I wouldn't quickly jump to any conclusions like that.
  20. Not sure if they'll also approve this one after approving the Blacksmith... If that set will become the "Castle Tribute" similar to how Pirates of Baracuda Bay is a Pirates Tribute, I don't see them approving two Castle-themed sets.
  21. The angler fish is pretty cool... If it's included with JB's Submarine, I think it would make up for the disappointing shark.
  22. @LEGO Train 12 Volts I finally finished the updated version of Coralia, as promised.
  23. Well, the Monkey Kid theme (rumored to be a combination between Sci-Fi and Journey to the West) is currently in the works and it's supposed to (hopefully) come out in May of this year... Perhaps this theme will be the Sci-Fi theme you are looking for .
  24. Wait, didn't we just get a reamke of Jay's Stormfighter with the first Legacy wave? Now there is another one?
